The article presents a paper manifesting the concerns, arguments and thoughts of all who participated in the Summer Institute in the Geographics of Justice (SIGJ) 2007 in Athens, Georgia which was sponsored by "Antipode" and the International Critical Geography Group. It discusses several issues that remain subjects of anxiety for junior and senior scholars including the changing nature of radical geography, while raising various questions regarding the current state of the academy. It briefly described the participants as geographers of justice and radical geographers. It also explains the materials and barriers that shape scholars, likewise the future of radical geographies.
