Summary: During horizontal drilling operations, real‐time prediction of drilling pressure during the drilling process can help the drilling team cope with the complex and changing working environment downhole, adjust the parameters of the drilling rig promptly, make correct decisions, reduce the probability of drilling accidents, and avoid affecting the duration and cost of the project. This study provides a method for real‐time prediction of the drilling pressure of horizontal drilling rigs. A deep learning model based on a convolutional Transformer is trained for accurate real‐time prediction by extracting real‐time operating data of the horizontal drilling rig from the data acquisition system. The method proposed in this study can be a useful tool to improve the performance of horizontal drilling rigs and can assist the drilling team in operating horizontal drilling rigs. The results of the case study show that: (1) the proposed convolutional Transformer model provides reliable real‐time prediction with an MAE of 0.304 MPa and an RMSE of 0.508 MPa; (2) the proposed method can quickly and accurately predict the trend of drilling pressure change in the next period based on the current change of drilling pressure, and grasp the dynamics of drilling pressure of horizontal drilling rigs in advance. Further research could focus on assisted decision‐making and intelligent optimization to provide solutions for preventing drilling accidents and improving horizontal rig performance based on the prediction. Blonanserin is a novel oral antischizophrenic drug. Under fasting (n = 50) and fed (n = 60) conditions, this study compared the bioequivalence of the generic blonanserin tablet with the reference blonanserin tablet. In this single‐center, randomized, open‐label, 2‐period, 2‐sequence, crossover study, 110 patients were randomly given a 4‐mg dose of either the test or reference blonanserin tablet with a 14‐day washout period. Blood samples were taken before performing and up to 72 hours following. A validated high‐performance liquid chromatography‐tandem mass spectrometry technique was used to measure the levels of blonanserin in plasma. Safety was evaluated throughout the study. The study found no significant differences in the maximum observed drug concentration in the plasma (Cmax), the area under the plasma concentration‐time curve from time 0 to the last sampling time (AUC0‐t), and the area under the plasma concentration‐time curve from time 0 to infinity (AUC0‐∞) between the 2 blonanserin formulations. The 90% confidence intervals of the geometric mean ratio of the test/reference formulations for Cmax, AUC0‐t, and AUC0‐∞ were within the 80%‐125% limit. Food dramatically raised blonanserin exposure, and also significantly prolonged the lag time of absorption. No serious adverse events occurred. These results indicate that the 2 blonanserin formulations were bioequivalent and well tolerated in healthy Chinese subjects. Aims: Status epilepticus (SE) is the most common neurological emergency in pediatric patients. This study aimed to screen for prognostic biomarkers of SE in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) using metabolomics. Methods: Ultra‐performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time‐of‐flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC‐QTOF‐MS) was conducted to identify prognostic biomarkers in CSF metabolomics by comparing the poor outcome group (N = 13) with the good outcome group (N = 15) of children with SE. Differentially expressed metabolites were identified using Mann–Whitney U test corrected by Benjamini‐Hochberg and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS‐DA). Results: The PLS‐DA model identified and validated significant metabolic differences between the poor and good outcome groups of children with SE (PLS‐DA with R2Y = 0.992 and Q2 = 0.798). A total of 49 prognosis‐related metabolites were identified. Of these metabolites, 20 including glutamyl‐glutamine, 3‐iodothyronamine, and L‐fucose had an area under the curve (AUC) ≥ 80% in prognostic prediction of SE. The logistic regression model combining glutamyl‐glutamine and 3‐iodothyronamine produced an AUC value of 0.976, with a sensitivity of 0.863 and specificity of 0.956. Pathway analysis revealed that dysregulation of the citrate cycle (TCA) and arginine biosynthesis may contribute to poor SE prognosis. Conclusions: This study highlighted the prognosis‐related metabolomic disturbances in the CSF of children with SE and identified potential prognostic biomarkers. Summary: Aiming at current serious problems that the bolt looseness can cause heavy damages and the manual bolt looseness detection is ineffective, this study presents a bolt looseness detection method based on Canny edge detector. First, HSV (hue, saturation, value) color space is used to extract the area of mark bar. Then, after expanding, eroding and median filtering the image, Canny edge detector is used to segment the marker area to extract its edge. Last, the fitted slope of edge is used to judge whether the bolt is loose. The experimental results show that the proposed method has F1 score of 88.37%, contributing to the automated detection of bolt looseness. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Owing to unique alkyne‐rich structure, graphdiyne (GDY) has been proven to be a superb support for anchoring metal catalysts. Herein we demonstrate a new role of GDY as the wettability modifier for enhanced hydrogenation catalysis. After loading a certain amount GDY nanospheres, the silica mesoporous channels become superaerophilic, which allows gaseous H2 to be directly stored inside, thus significantly increasing the H2 concentration around the palladium nanoparticles (NPs). At the same time, GDY nanospheres also alter the electronic structure of the Pd NPs via a strong d‐π interaction. Combining these two roles of GDY, allows the hydrogenation of benzaldehyde to proceed under ambient H2 pressure in water, with an impressive 4.3‐fold enhancement compared to the unmodified Pd/mSiO2 catalyst. Summary: Although the construction of steel sheet pile cofferdam has good practicability in the process of water conservancy project construction, the construction period of the water project is long due to the large amount of work, and the cofferdam itself is greatly affected by the water level, topography, geological period, and other factors. With the continuation of time and the change of complex hydrogeological environment, it is easy to cause the accumulation of hidden safety hazards in the construction of the project during the construction period, and the unreasonable and untimely risk warning and control have led to some major construction accidents. In this paper, the SVM (Support Vector Machine) medium‐ and short‐term water level prediction model is established. The SVM tool is used to establish a prediction model that takes complex hydrological scenes and weather changes into account comprehensively, so that the medium‐ and short‐term water level can be predicted more accurately, thus achieving dynamic adjustment and better adapting to the actual requirements of steel sheet pile cofferdam construction. The results show that there is a good co‐integration relationship between the prediction factors selected by the medium‐ and short‐term water level prediction model, which proves the rationality of the multivariable predictions selected in this paper. At the same time, in the precipitation concentration period, the relative error of the SVM prediction model is relatively small, and it can achieve dynamic water level prediction with the update of the medium‐ and short‐term weather forecast, which can meet the requirements of engineering construction and accuracy. Summary: Welders are widely used in machinery manufacturing and machining industry. In the process of electric welding, accidents are often caused by some unsafe behaviors. This paper focuses on the intelligent recognition method of welding flame, which can reduce the accidents of welding flame to a certain extent. Due to the difficulties in observing workers on job sites, developing an algorithm for intelligent identification of unsafe factors is significant. Firstly, Hue,Saturation and Value (HSV) color space with strong robustness is selected to segment the mark image with threshold value, and the region of interest in which the welding fame is located is segment; secondly, the Progressive Probabilistic Hough transform is used to detect the region of interest, judge the number of existing lines, and finally determine whether there is welding flame in this region. This article examines the impact of the adoption of an Inflation Targeting (IT) framework in 2000 on the conduct of South Africa's monetary policy. Taylor rule analysis is used to test empirically whether the implementation of IT in South Africa can be shown to have impacted on the conduct of monetary policy. In particular, the article analyses whether the implementation of the IT framework yields the expected changes when comparing the conduct of monetary policy pre and post the adoption of the IT framework. Thereafter, an analysis of term structure of interest rates, which serve as a proxy variable for market expectations, is used to test whether South Africa's IT framework has resulted in more predictability and transparency in monetary policy conduct. Lastly, the article analyses the impact of the global financial crisis of 2008–2009, the so‐called Great Recession, on the predictability and transparency of monetary policy in South Africa. In this work, the authors attempted to present a detailed study on the adsorption of bovine hemoglobin (BHB) by sulfonated polystyrene nanospheres (SPS NSs). The adsorption characteristics including adsorption isotherms, kinetics and thermodynamics were studied in detail. The adsorption isotherms were better fitted by the Langmuir model, leading to a remarkable adsorption capacity of 2831.4 mg g−1. Such an adsorption capacity is among the highest values reported in the literature. The adsorption kinetics was analyzed by the pseudo‐first‐order, pseudo‐second‐order and intra‐particle diffusion equations. The thermodynamic parameters including binding site, binding affinity, and changes of enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs free energy were determined by isothermal titration calorimetry measurements. The electrostatic interaction of BHB and SPS NSs was identified as the major adsorption mechanism. The effects of solution pH, temperature and competitive metal ions in the adsorption process were studied. Based on the Arrhenius equation, the activation energy of the adsorption process was determined to be 2.34 kJ mol−1. Sulfonated polystyrene nanospheres (SPS NSs) were used to extract bovine hemoglobin (BHB) from aqueous solutions via electrostatic interaction. Summary: It is an effective way to use magnetic shielding scheme in magnetic coupled wireless power transfer (WPT) system to reduce magnetic flux leakage. However, the additional shielding material would affect the equivalent circuit model and the power transmission efficiency of WPT system. Although the impact of some common shielding materials on the transmission efficiency has been studied using finite element simulation, there is still a lack of understanding about the impact to the equivalent model in theory. In this paper, the equivalent circuit and transmission efficiency of WPT system are analyzed theoretically under the influence of different shielding materials, and the relationship between material electrical characteristics and transmission efficiency is presented. In our WPT prototype with two 166‐mm diameter coils under ferrite shielding and aluminum shielding, the achieved maximum transmission efficiencies are 95.7% for 100‐kHz resonant frequency and 97.9% for 1‐MHz resonant frequency under the ferrite shielding, and the efficiency errors between the analytical and experimental results are less than 5% for 100‐kHz resonant frequency and 10% for 1‐MHz resonant frequency. The equivalent circuit and transmission efficiency of wireless power transfer system are analyzed theoretically under the influence of different shields, and the relationship between material electrical characteristics and transmission efficiency is presented. The analyzing and experimental results show that shields with high permeability and low electrical conductivity are beneficial for enhancing the transmission efficiency of WPT system. Abstract: Development of well‐ordered supramolecular assemblies via the biomimetic orthogonal principle has aroused significant attention in recent years. To attain this objective, the elaborate choice of fundamental building blocks, together with the deep insight into mutual interplay among various non‐covalent forces, are of vital importance. Herein, a novel molecular tweezer/guest recognition motif with enhanced binding affinity has been established, by virtue of the formation of intermolecular N−H−N hydrogen bonds. The non‐covalent complexation persists even with the presence of ureidopyrimidinone hydrogen bonding motifs, which facilitate the fabrication of dynamic supramolecular polymers via orthogonal self‐assembly. Abstract: The histone chaperones play an important role in chromatin assembly and disassembly during replication and transcription. We have assessed the global roles of histone chaperones in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Microarray transcriptional analyzes indicate that histone chaperones have their own specific target genes, and various histone chaperones have partially overlapping functions during transcriptional regulation. The histone deacetylase inhibitor TSA and histone chaperones Asf1, Vps75 and Rtt106 can function in parallel pathways to regulate transcription. Moreover, TSA can specifically antagonize histone chaperone Chz1-mediated telomere anti-silencing. This study demonstrates that a mutual cross-talk mechanism exists between histone chaperones and histone deacetylation in transcriptional regulation. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The article presents a study which examined the curing kinetics of an epoxy resin system through the use of dynamic and isothermal differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) for the preparation of T800 carbon fiber filament wound composites. It mentioned the effect of the addition of reactive diluter in activation energies on the initial stage. It concluded that the auto-catalytic kinetic expression chosen in the study was suitable to analyze the curing kinetics of this system.
