In this paper, a new mathematical model is presented for a cellular manufacturing system into tactical planning of a closed-loop supply chain to build a sustainable manufacturing enterprise. On the manufacturing side of the model, a comprehensive cellular manufacturing system is designed considering dynamic cell configuration, alternative process routings, lot splitting, sequence of operations, multiple units of identical machines, machine capacity, machine adjacency requirements, and cell size limits. On the closed-loop supply chain side of the model, different activities are considered including acquiring returned products, setting up the system for the implementation of disassembly operations, inventory holding of the returned products, remanufacturing the parts having high quality, and disposing of the returned products that cannot be economically recovered. The mathematical model in this paper, to the best of our knowledge, is the first model reducing the total costs of the cellular manufacturing system while considering the alternative process routings and subcontracting of the part demands. A detailed economic analysis is done on the large-sized example problem of the mathematical model to investigate the impacts of adopting different production policies such as internal production, inventory holding, and subcontracting as well as different manufacturing attributes such as dynamic reconfiguration and alternative process routings. The mathematical model is also solved for different instances to investigate the effects of incorporating subcontracting, alternative process routings, and dynamic reconfigurations in the model. Sensitivity analyses are also conducted to investigate the effects of the recovery rate of returned products on the objective function value and the number of returned products to be acquired. This paper develops the game models of two symmetric supply chains, each consisting of one manufacturer and one retailer, while both retailers compete in the market with a linear function. The disclosure mechanism is designed when the information of the disrupted demand is asymmetric between supply side and retail side. We first study the model with the full information as a benchmark to explore the effect of asymmetric information on the system. In the case, each manufacturer maximizes her profit while the downstream retailer only obtains the reservation profit. For the case of asymmetric information, each manufacturer can obtain the real information of the disrupted demand by using a menu of contract bundles. For each information structure, there are always robust regions for each manufacturer's original trading quantity scheme. That is, when the disrupted amount of the demand is sufficiently small, the trading quantity will be unchanged. However, some special measures, e.g., the higher unit wholesale price, should be taken to prevent the retailer from deviating the trading quantity scheme. The high-disruption retailer gets the higher profit due to the information rent. Compared with a single supply chain, Cournot competition results in the less retail price and the lower performance for the whole system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, we have proposed a dual-channel supply chain model in uncertain environment to analyze the demand of manufacturer and retailer demand in which the profit being maximized. Linguistic terms are also utilized to establish two fuzzy systems for estimating the demand in direct and retail channels. In order to do that, a mathematical model is proposed based on decentralized situation of supply chain. To solve the model, we have developed a hybrid solution method of genetic algorithm, fuzzy system, and L-P metric. In this paper a two level supply chain system is studied, in which the final demand is assumed to be fuzzy with triangular membership function. The inventory control policy of (r, Q) is followed for this system and unsatisfied demand is assumed to be back ordered. The objective is to minimize the total cost of the system, including ordering, holding and shortage costs. The model happens to be a nonlinear programming. Considering the complexity arising from the model, we also develop a genetic algorithm to obtain a near-optimal solution. The method is illustrated through some numerical examples. In order to gain competitive advantage in the globalization today, effective management strategies need to be incorporated, especially in collaborating information sharing among multi-site manufacturing facilities. Information visibility within the supply chain is the process of sharing critical data required to manage the flow of products, services, and information in real time between suppliers and customers. If the information is available but cannot be accessed by the parties most able to react to a given situation, its value degrades drastically. We propose a software system, which incorporates mathematical models, user-interface and web application to solve the collaborative planning problems between multiple sites. Model validations proved the architecture to be robust and suggested cost savings through priority goal structuring. Emergency incidents increase the uncertainty of supply chain environment, and also make the supply chain vulnerability expose. Creating resilient supply chain is an effective way to overcome the supply chain vulnerability. The supply chain characteristics of self-adaptation and self-coordination are consistent with the self-organization feature of ant colony's labor division. In this paper, a generalized ant colony's labor division model with constraints is provided, which is used to construct the ant colony's labor division model with constraints of resilient supply chain to solve task allocation of resilient supply chains. The simulation principle and algorithm of resilient supply chain are provided based on the proposed model and task allocation of the supply chain is analyzed from the five aspects, that is, task allocation status, supply chain coordination, emergency incidents' impact to task allocation, task allocation rate and the influence of different incidents for task allocation. The simulation results show that, with the proposed model, it is effective to allocate resilient supply chain tasks and has excellent performance, such as faster response and robustness.
