Purpose: Different surgical protocols have been introduced for eminence augmentation for treatment of recurrent temporomandibular joint dislocation, The aim of this study is to assess maximal incisal opening (MIO) using inlay (sandwich osteotomy) autogenous block augmentation harvested from patient’s symphesis for more stable condylar movements . Methods: five patients were treated in this study (10 joints) with bilateral autogenous inlay block bone grafting technique, each autogenous cortico-cancellous bone block was harvested from chin and wedged at the created defect of the eminence through a green stick fracture to increase its height . Results: The follow up period ranged from six months to two years to access the maximal incisal opening (MIO). the mean preoperative maximal incisal opening was 45.8mm and that of the postoperative was 32.3 mm . One patient reported postoperative slight unilateral edema and pain that gradually diminishes after one month postoperative.another patient showed intraoperative condylar dislocation that was treated with masseter scarification. Conclusion: autogenous block interpositional eminoplasty technique is a reliable procedure for management of antero-medial recurrent condylar dislocation.

Traditional cost methods have been discussed and then BIM tools to show how it saved a lot of expected errors and time along with third application have been introduced with an emphasis on construction cost estimating and its relation to cost control without skipping 4D of scheduling as important key in decreasing or increasing the cost. Two approaches for 4D scheduling in BIM. For the cost estimating capability, two available methods have been discussed: i) list from the BIM tool to the estimating software such as MS Excel, ii) link BIM components to estimating software, a case study is provided to demonstrates the cost estimating processes in BIM based on the BIM model of a three-story training facility. The integrated cost database that builds with the model is the main key factor for more accurate estimate and the purpose of this research is to improve the workflow of cost estimation and cost control make it as a base for other researcher to work based on. The study aims to analyze the general principles of tax provisions in the UAE legislation by evaluating the UAE tax system and identifying its economic effectiveness. The study will also show the ability of UAE legislation to oblige those in charge to pay taxes, and the extent to which taxpayers are convinced of the general government policy. The study will also review the challenges facing the state in collecting taxes and ways to address legal gaps. The problem of the study lies in the challenges facing the state regarding the application of tax legislation and the insufficiency of the stipulated penalties. The researcher has used the descriptive, analytical, and historical method in his research. The study concludes with a number of results, the most important of which are that the Emirati legislator did not clarify the extent of the possibility of reconciliation in crimes of tax evasion. The UAE legislation also does not clarify all forms of crimes related to evasion from paying the value-added tax since is the most common among tax evasion crimes.

The study aims to assess the legal regulation and institutional framework for protecting and controlling public money in the United Arab Emirates, as well as comparing it with the provisions of Islamic sharia. The study begins with the concept of protecting public money, its importance, images, and types, and then analyzes the legal texts for the protection of public money in the UAE legislation and Islamic law. Then it identifies the challenges facing the protection and control of public money in the United Arab Emirates. The researcher relies in his study on the descriptive and analytical approach. The study reaches several results, the most important of which are: the UAE legislator protects the public money from any violation through a set of laws that forbid to dispose public money, its seize, or its acquisitive prescription. The study also reaches several recommendations, the most important of which are: the legislator has permitted to dispose public money in accordance with legal conditions and regulations. Thus, any disposal violation will be invalid. The study also recommends the necessity of continuous work on developing legislations that regulate and control the protection of public money in the UAE.

The problem of the study is the modernity of the administrative judiciary and its limitation to annulment, compensation, and the disciplinary proceedings. The researcher uses the descriptive-analytical approach and the comparative approach to achieve the objectives of the study and to find solutions to the problem at hand. The study concludes with a set of results and recommendations, the most important of which is that Islam was the first religion to come up with the idea of establishing an office for adjudicating claims of injustice. The administrative judiciary is considered a real guarantee to control the decisions of the official administration and not to oppress individuals. Besides, the administrative judiciary in the UAE is newly established compared to the administrative judiciary in other countries.

The study aims mainly to evaluate the legal regulation of evidence in cybercrime in the United Arab Emirates compared to the provisions of Islamic laws by explaining the concept of cybercrime, its types, elements, and ways to confront it. The study will examine the legal and judicial framework to combat cybercrime in the United Arab Emirates, and define the means, conditions, the evidentiary requirements of cybercrime in Islamic law and UAE legislation. The researcher has used the descriptive-analytical method in his research. The study concludes with several results. The most important of which is that cybercrime differs from its traditional counterpart in nature and methods of gathering evidence to prove it. The study also concludes that there are difficulties in proving electronic evidence, in addition to the fact that the UAE legislator did not provide for means of evidence for cybercrimes. The study also concludes with several recommendations. There is also a need to enact legislation that compels technical companies and social media platforms to ask users and customers to provide personal documents that prove their identities when registering on any platform on the Internet, these documents will serve as an "electronic fingerprint”.

To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher adopts the descriptive-analytical approach. One of the most important results of the study reached by the researcher is that the story of Prophet Yusuf, peace be upon him, has unique characteristics and features that are not found in any other type of story. The study concludes with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to pay attention to the educational applications of Quranic stories in the different educational stages.

The study concludes with several findings and recommendations, the most important findings are: the UAE legislator has kept pace with developments within the framework of sustainable development that meets the needs of the present generation without sacrificing or compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The study concludes that Islamic banks contribute to achieving sustainable development at the social level by collecting zakat and distributing it to those who are entitled to it, providing good loans, and undertaking various social activities.

Nile tilapia is known for its relative tolerance to some biotic and abiotic stressors. However, long-period water exchange may impair the health status and, thereby, the growth performance and feed utilization. In this regard, using herbal extracts may help to relieve the adverse impacts of low water quality on the productivity of this fish species. A 100-day feeding trial was designed to examine the effects of dietary supplements of Aloe vera leaves (AVE), and chamomile flowers, Matricaria chamomilla (CFE) extracts on water quality, growth performance, and well-being of Nile tilapia. Fish (3.95±0.05 g, n=1200) were distributed into five groups (15 fiberglass tanks, 2 m3) under a water exchange rate of 20% every two days for standard control (T0) without herbal supplements. In groups (T1, T2, T3, and T4), a long period water exchange period of 50% every month, wherein T1 (stressed control), T2, T3, and T4 groups were fed a diet supplemented with 0% herbal extract, 1% AVE, 1% CFE and 0.5% AVE +0.5% CFE, respectively. Results showed that feeding on a T2 diet exhibited a clear improvement under a long period of water exchange stress, and it is almost similar to their counterparts under normal conditions (T0) in terms of specific growth rate, survival rate, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, and protein efficiency ratio. Moreover, the lowest levels of aspartate aminotransferase were obtained with T2 and T0. In addition, the highest white blood cell count and hemoglobin values were recorded with group T0, followed by T2, and T4, while no significant difference between T3 and T1. Fish under stressed conditions without herbal extracts (T1) showed the lowest performance and survival rate compared to T0 and T2 groups. In conclusion, feeding diet supplied with 1% A. vera extract to stressed fish restored their performance and well-being to the level of their counterparts under normal conditions.

Multiphase machines have attracted significant attention in academic and industrial sectors as candidates for high-power safety-critical applications and wind energy conversion systems. Premierly, this chapter introduces the state-of-the-art in multiphase machine winding topologies. This typically considers the winding layouts employed in multiphase induction machines with prime phase and multiple three-phase orders. This chapter also provides some recent winding topologies that offer better machine characteristics in terms of torque density, efficiency, and fault-tolerance capability. One of the major problems when dealing with a prime number of phases, either in academic research or industrial applications, is the special stator design. Thus, a general technique to rewind standard off-the-shelf three-phase stator frames with any general prime phase order is introduced while preserving the same copper volume. © 2022 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of dietary linseed oil, sunflower oil, and their supplementation with Amphora coffeaeformis (AC) on growth performance, carcase characteristics, fatty and amino acid profiles, oxidative stability, and meat quality of broiler chickens. One hundred and eighty day-old broiler chicks were divided into four groups (five replicates per group, 9 birds per each replicate pen). Birds in groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 fed diets containing 3% sunflower oil without AC (SFO 3%), 3% SFO with 1 g/kg diet of AC (SFAC), 3% linseed oil without AC (LSO 3%) and 3% LSO oil with 1 g/kg diet of AC (LSAC), respectively for 32 days. Final weight and weight gain were increased whereas fat pads were decreased in birds fed diets containing SFAC or LSAC compared to other groups. The values of omega-3 fatty acids, essential amino acids, and antioxidants were increased while saturated fatty acids (SFA) declined in the meat of birds fed diets supplemented with AC (SFAC & LSAC) compared to other groups. Lysine levels in the meat of birds fed AC and/or linseed diets were inversely related to hepatic L-carnitine levels. Breast meats of different broiler groups did not differ significantly in quality traits. However, broilers fed AC-containing diets had relatively lower yellowness, redness, and Chroma values. Conclusively, dietary combinations of AC with either SFO or LSO improved the performance, fatty and amino acid profiles, oxidative stability, and meat quality of broiler chickens.Highlights Supplying Amphora coffeaeformis (AC) to broiler sunflower (SFAC) or linseed oil (LSAC) diets improved performance. Dietary AC, 1 g/kg, improved the meat nutritional value of broilers fed SFAC or LSAC diets. Dietary AC, 1 g/kg, improved the meat oxidative stability of broilers fed SFAC or LSAC diets.

Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of using recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) compared with pituitary-derived porcine FSH given as one dose or multiple doses on the neonatal traits, follicular dynamics, and maternal blood biochemical constituents in Noemi ewes. Materials and Methods: A 3×2 factorial arrangement was designed utilizing 60 adults Noemi ewes to test the effects of using two sources of FSH (human vs. porcine) in addition to control, either given as a single total dose or six descending doses to provoke twinning. Six treatments (T) were tested (n=10 ewes/T). C1 and C6 served as control ewes given saline as one dose and six doses, respectively; H1 and H6 ewes were given human FSH as one and six doses; and P1 and P6 ewes were given porcine FSH similar to the above treatments. Saline and/or FSH administration were administered at days 8, 9, and 10 of the 10-day controlled internal drug release (CIDR) implant. At CIDR removal, fertile rams were used for natural mating. Blood samples for the assessment of serum metabolites were collected. Results: Twinning increased in FSH-treated ewes than control. However, giving FSH of either source as a single dose resulted in a higher incidence of stillbirths. Pregnancy rates were 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80% in C1, C6, P1, P6, H1, and H6, respectively. Respective percent of ewes delivering twins/multiple birth was 0, 0, 80, 66.7, 71.4, and 87.5%. FSH of human source was more efficient for folliculogenesis than porcine FSH. SUMMARY: The current study investigated the effect of heat processing or carbohydrase enzyme addition on egg production, egg quality, egg fatty acid composition, tocopherol content, and lipid oxidation products in eggs from layer hens fed flaxseed. A total of ninety-six 23-wk-old white leghorn laying hens were kept in individual cages and were randomly allocated to 4 treatment groups, with 6 replicates containing 4 hens per each replicate. The hens were fed corn soybean meal-based diet containing 15 g/100 g raw flaxseed (Flax), 15 g/100 g heated (60°C for 8 h) flaxseed (HFlax), Flax+0.1% enzyme (Flax+E), and HFlax+0.1% enzyme (HFlax+E). The experimental diets were fed for a period of 120 d. Hen-day egg production and egg mass (g/hen/d) were highest for HFlax and HFlax+E and lowest for Flax+E (P < 0.05). No difference was noted in egg, yolk or shell weight, or Haugh unit (P > 0.05). Albumen weight as percentage of egg weight was lower in Flax when compared to HFlax, Flax+E, or HFlax+E (P < 0.05). The yolk:albumen ratio was higher in Flax that in HFlax, Flax+E, and HFlax+E (P < 0.05). Yolk color score was highest for HFlax+E and lowest for Flax+E (P < 0.05). No effect of diet on egg total lipid, palmitic, stearic, α-linolenic, eicosapentaenoic, docosahexaenoic, and arachidonic acid content as mg/egg or as percentage of fatty acid methyl esters was observed (P > 0.05). Hens fed HFlax had lower concentration of linoleic acid (mg/egg) than Flax+E and HFlax+E (P < 0.05). The concentrations of oleic acid and total monounsaturated fatty acids (mg/egg) were higher in Flax than those in other treatments (P < 0.05). Eggs from hens fed HFlax+E had lower thiobarbituric acid reactive substances than Flax+E (P < 0.05) and was not different from Flax or HFlax (P > 0.05). No difference was observed in the α-tocopherol content of the eggs (P > 0.05). Enzyme supplementation and heating of flaxseed increased γ-tocopherol content in Flax+E and HFlax+E eggs (P < 0.05). It is concluded that heating flaxseed prior to consumption increases egg production while reducing oleic acid and linoleic acid (mg/egg). Heating flaxseed or enzyme supplementation had no effect on egg weight, α-linolenic acid, total n-3 fatty acids, total lipid, or total tocopherol content of eggs.
