Abstract
The article highlights the new developments featured during the 2010 Emballage packaging exhibition in Paris, France. One is the launching of Quadraxis' Thermo 3D Suite Version 2 solution that allows designers and pre-press operators in the thermoforming process to decorate any object regardless of its shape and the material used. Another is the introduction of the new film, NatureFlex N913, by Innovia Films, which increases the technical capabilities of the cellulose-based packaging film by providing a barrier to moisture, gases and aromas.
