- Abstract
The study aimed to identify the challenges faced by trainees in the Optimal Educational Personnel Investment Project from the perspective of the participants. It also sought to identify statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) between the average opinions of the trainees about the challenges they faced, attributed to certain demographic variables (gender, years of experience, primary academic specialization). To achieve the study's objectives, a descriptive survey method was used, and the study tool was a questionnaire applied to a sample of (365) diploma graduates in the Optimal Educational Personnel Investment Project. The study found several results, the most important of which are: the existence of work systems that hinder the trainees' commitment to the program, such as the lack of time for study – evening studies, weak motivational incentives for joining the Optimal Investment programs, increased teacher burdens at school that limit their active participation in Optimal Investment programs, no complete assignment for teaching new courses, the multitude of requirements of the Optimal Investment Project programs which makes it difficult for the participants to balance training requirements and teaching requirements, and the absence of statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) or less in the responses of the study individuals regarding the challenges faced by those joining the Optimal Educational Personnel Investment Project, regardless of the variable of gender, years of experience, and primary academic specialization.
