This study introduces a highly effective technique to address the load flow challenge in Radial Distribution Networks (RDNs). The proposed approach leverages two matrices derived from the topological features of distribution networks to provide an optimal solution to handle load flow challenges. To assess the efficacy of this technique, simulations were executed on an IEEE 33-bus radial distribution system using MATLAB. Deep Learning (DL) has become a powerful artificial intelligence technique that excels at interpreting power grid datasets. Thus, a data-driven methodology is presented that incorporates an advanced Long-Short-Term-Memory (LSTM) network. Employing the Recurrent Neural Network with the LSTM (RNN-LSTM) technique based on these simulations, the study precisely identifies the optimal placement of an integrated PV generator within the radial network. The application of DL techniques, specifically LSTM networks, exemplifies the potential of data-driven approaches in enhancing decisionmaking processes. As the demand for renewable energy continues to increase, wind power has emerged as a prominent source of clean energy. However, incorporating wind energy into the power generation system at a high level can significantly impact the dynamic performance of the power system, resulting in increased uncertainties during operation. This study investigated the effectiveness of the Multi-Band Power System Stabilizer (MBPSS), a new power system stabilizer, in suppressing dynamic oscillations in a multi-machine power system connected to a wind farm. This research focused on analyzing the transient stability of a nine-bus network, commonly known as the Western System Coordinating Council (WSCC), integrated with a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) using MATLAB/Simulink. The study evaluated the dynamic performance of the proposed system under fault conditions, including Line-to-Line-to-Line-to-Ground (LLLG) faults. Simulation results showed that MBPSS effectively dampened oscillations and improved the stability of the power system, even in the presence of severe faults and high-level integration of wind farms. The distribution system acts as a conduit between the consumer and the bulk power grid. Due to characteristics such as a high resistance/reactance ratio, distribution networks cannot be solved using conventional methods, such as the Gauss-Seidel and Newton-Raphson. This research proposes a method for the calculation of the power flow in radial networks that considers their wide range of resistance and reactance values, PV generator characteristics, and radial structure. An iterative methodology is employed, with each iteration beginning with the branch that has the highest accurate power flow solution. The procedure is reliable and effective over various workloads and network configurations. To confirm the effectiveness of the suggested technique on the simple and IEEE 33-bus radial distribution system, simulations were carried out in MATLAB. The implications of including a renewable energy source, such as a PV generator, in the network under consideration are investigated by simulation result comparison. The optimal location of the PV generator was also determined using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) controller. The prevalent tendency in power transmission systems is to operate closer and closer to the energy limit, rendering system voltage instability a commonly widespread phenomenon. It is, therefore, necessary that certain remedial corrective controls need be undertaken whenever these systems tend towards failure. In this respect, load shedding stands as a major correction mechanism and such a failure can be prevented and nominal system voltage can be resumed. It is worth noting however that load shedding must be implemented very carefully to ensure the satisfaction of both the customer and the electricity-production company. In this context, our focus of interest is laid on load and machine shedding against voltage collapse as an effective corrective method. It is important to note that such a problem turns out to be commonly defined as an optimization problem under constraints. Using genetic algorithms as resolution methods, the application of the proposed methods was implemented on the 14-node IEEE test network, while considering a number of different case studies. The purpose of this paper is to present the extended version of the conventional DEED to overcome the ramp rate violations when its optimal solutions for one period (normally one day) are implemented repeatedly and periodically over consequent dispatch periods to meet the periodic load demands. This dynamic dispatch problem, which is referred to as EDEED, is a multi-objective optimization problem which simultaneously minimizes both fuel cost and pollutants emission while satisfying a set of constraints. A multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) method has been applied in this article for solving EDEED problem. The performance of the proposed method has been evaluated on the 10-unit test system with non-smooth fuel cost and emission level functions in comparison with those methods reported in the literature. This paper investigates detailed flexible approach for incorporating various flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS) controllers in multimachine power system environment such as static var compensator (SVC) and thyristor controlled series capacitor (TCSC) in order to improve power system stability. The incorporation of FACTS devices into multimachine power system requires the development of the mathematical model of the power system with FACTS controllers. The differential algebraic equation (DAE) model of multimachine power system with FACTS controllers such as SVC and TCSC devices has been developed in this paper. Despite the fact that SVC and TCSC devices have been incorporated individually in DAE model of multimachine system, the DAE model with coordination of FACTS controllers has not been developed. So, the methodology of incorporation of series and shunt FACTS controllers in coordinated control manner in the DAE model of power system has been developed in this paper. Thus, the objective of this paper is to develop a general methodology of DAE model of power system with incorporation of series and shunt FACTS controllers in individual and coordinated control manner in order to improve power system stability. The Flexible AC transmission System (FACTS) devices, such as, thyristor controlled series compensators (TCSC) and Static Var Compensator (SVC) can be used to enhance power system performance. To achieve a better use of FACTS devices and because of their considerable costs, it is important to limit the number of theses controllers and locate them optimally in the power system. Firstly, we have applied optimization technique, namely, NSGA-II, to find out the optimal number of multi-devices of TCSC and SVC in order to improve the system loadabilty and to ensure the steady state security of the network. Secondly, we performed a contingency analysis procedure based on severity index (SIL) to identify and classify the most severe line contingencies. Then, we determined the optimal placement and parameter setting of FACTS devices in power system by using the above optimization approach to alleviate the line overloads. To ensure the robustness and effectiveness of the proposed method, N-1 contingency analysis and the stress of power system are considered. The optimization problem presented in this paper aims at reducing FACTS installation cost and decreasing total real power losses. Simulations are performed on IEEE 30-bus test system. This paper presents a method to design a control system for grid connected photovoltaic inverter which has an LCL type filter to suppress the output current total harmonic distortion (THD). In this control system, three linear voltage and current controllers were used in a cascade configuration in order to reduce the complexity of the system. Those controllers regulate the current injected to the grid in a synchronous reference frame which transforms ac variables into dc quantities and thus possibility of applying simple PI regulators.
