Abstract

In addition to its significant contribution to economic development, fireworks industries are criticized for their negative impacts. Firework industries are often susceptible to industrial accidents and thus receive criticism from society. As numerous instant reactive chemical powders (magnesium powder, aluminium, potassium nitrate & sulphur) are being handled, the probability of occurrence of industrial accidents is quite high in the fireworks industry. Further, often there raise arguments regarding the safety standards followed in the fireworks industry. In this regard, this research focuses on recognizing and analyzing the potential risks of industrial accidents in the fireworks industry by considering a firework industry in southern India as a case reference. Initially, for identifying the risk factors, an extensive literature review followed by expert interactions was made. Then, by following the nominal group technique (NGT), the risk factors are finalized. Next, the Best Worst Method (BWM), the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) technique is used to analyze the risk factors using the experts' inputs. Hygroscopic reaction and friction have been identified as the most critical risk factors for industrial accidents in the fireworks industry. Abstract

Human perception, attention, learning, memory, reasoning, and problem-solving are just a few of the cognitive functions that emotion has a significant impact on. The modulation of attention’s selectivity as well as the inspiration for action and behaviour are all effects of emotion that have a particularly powerful impact on attention. Inherently restricted attentional capabilities are better able to concentrate on pertinent information, which makes this attentional and executive control closely related to learning processes. This study represents improving accuracy in emotion classification using game theory, multi-physiological signals, and deep learning techniques. The study focuses on using sensor devices such as Electroencephalogram (EEG), Electrocardiogram (ECG), and Galvanic Skin Response (GSK) signals to predict emotions in human beings. The proposed system is based on the use of multiple physiological inputs and it is discovered and validated on a large number of participants by providing multisensory images designed to elicit emotions. The study employs a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture and an Electro Dermal Activity sensor (EDA) to detect multiple groups of emotions and enhance the robustness of both subject-orientated and subject-independent human emotions. However, the current approach lacks providing better accuracy. To address this, the study implements the construction of an emotion’s estimation model based on the extraction of EEG, HRV, and PPG signals using a game theory approach and the valence range from highly positive to highly negative (Arousal-valence Space) using deep learning algorithms.
