- Abstract
Type material and additional collections of 11 taxa of Gautieria described in Europe and North Africa have been studied, namely G. dubia, G. graveolens, G. morchelliformis var. globispora, G. morchelliformis var. magnicellaris, G. morchelliformis var. morchelliformis, G. morchelliformis var. stenospora, G. otthii, G. pseudovestita, G. retirugosa, G. trabutii and G. villosa. At the same time, morphological and genetic studies on recent and herbarium collections from several European countries have been carried out. This enabled clarification of sections within Gautieria and differentiation of 28 taxa, of which 21 are new to science. However, the deeper relationships and nomenclature changes related to the phylogenetic position of the genus Gautieria within Gomphaceae will not be addressed in this study because they would require a more complete molecular analysis together with that of related genera, e.g., Gomphus, Turbinellus, and the four subgenera of Ramaria. In addition, a lectotype for G. villosa var. villosa and reference specimens for G. graveolens and G. morchelliformis var. morchelliformis are selected, and the new combination G. morchelliformis var. dubia is proposed. Detailed descriptions, macro- and microphotographs and distribution maps of all taxa are provided, as well as extensive information on their ecology, chorology and phylogeny. A key is included to facilitate identification of taxa.

Sporodochia saffron, luteous to ochreous coloured (Rayner 1970), formed abundantly on the agar surface and carnation leaves under nuv. Conidiophores in sporodochia, densely and irregularly branched, bearing apical whorls of 2 4 monophialides; sporodochial monophialides subcylindrical, 1026 2.54.5 m, smooth- and thin-walled, with a distinct apical collarette. Sporodochial conidia (macroconidia) falcate, almost straight to gently curved, tapering at both ends, apex curved to blunt, base poorly- to well-developed foot-shaped, 16-septate, hyaline, smooth- and thin-walled; 1-septate conidia: (14.5)1520.5(24) 34.5 m (av. 17.9 3.9 m); 2-septate conidia: 21.532 34.5 m (av. 26.4 3.5 m); 3-septate conidia: (33)4361(71.5) (3)45 m (av. 51.8 4.2 m); 4-septate conidia: (50.5)5569(74.5) 3.55 m (av. 62.3 4.2 m); 5-septate conidia: 54 4.5 m (rare); 6-septate conidia: (49.5)56.571(73) (3.5)44.5(5) m (av. 63.8 4.3 m). Chlamydospores not observed. Culture characteristics Colonies on potato dextrose agar (PDA) and oatmeal agar (OA) growing in the dark at 24 C covering and entire 9 cm Petri dish in 7 d. Colony surface peach to vinaceous, flat, velvety to felty with abundant floccose aerial mycelium forming concentric rings; colony margins undulate. Reverse flesh to salmon with diffuse coral to brick pigment throughout the medium. Typus. Notes Fusarium chuoi resides in the Asian clade of the Fusarium fujikuroi species complex (FFSC: ODonnell et al. 1998, Yilmaz et al. 2021, Crous et al. 2021b). Based on nucleotide searches using the Fusarium Pairwise ID engine on the Fusarioid-ID database (www.fusarium.org, Crous et al. 2021) the closest hit using the ITS sequence was Fusarium siculi (strain CBS 142422; identities = 449/450 (99 %), no gaps). The closest hit using the LSU sequence was F. siculi (strain CBS 142422; identities = 804/805 (99 %), no gaps). Closest hit using the cmdA sequence was Fusarium fractiflexum (strain NRRL 28852; identities = 426/434 (98 %), no gaps). Closest hit using the rpb1 sequence was F. fujikuroi (strain NRRL 13566; identities = 687/702 (98 %), no gaps). Closest hit using the rpb2 sequence was Fusarium globosum (strain CBS 428.97; identities = 856/867 (98 %), no gaps). Closest hit using the tef1 sequence was F. fractiflexum (strain NRRL 28852; identities = 619/643 (96 %), 2 gaps (0.3 %)). The phylogenetic results, however, showed that F. chuoi is not directly related to any of the previously described species of FFSC (see Suppl. material FP1353), clustering as the second basal-most species of that clade after F. sacchari. Asian Fusarium spp. in the FFSC are characterised by mono-and polyphialides producing oval to ellipsoid, rarely pyriform to globose (i.e., F. annulatum, F. fujikuroi and F. globosum) microconidia organized in chains or false heads; 35-septate sporodochial conidia and lacking chlamydospores. The elaborate, profusely branched aerial conidiophores of F. chuoi are comparable to those of F. concentricum, F. lumajangense, F. mangiferae and F. sacchari, all the latter species producing oval, ellipsoidal to allantoid microconidia on false heads.Aerial conidiophores of F. chuoi, however, mostly produce macroconidia, while microconidia grouped on false heads are restricted to short, mostly unbranched and prostrate conidiophores formed on the surface on the culture media. Several Asian species of the FFSC have been reported from Musa spp. i.e., F. annulatum, F. concentricum, F. fujikuroi, F. lumajangense and F. sacchari (Leslie & Summerell 2006, Maryani et al. 2019, Farr & Rossman 2021). The two strains representing F. chuoi were isolated as endophytes from asymptomatic seeds of wild banana (Musa itinerans), which had been collected predispersal and stored in the Millennium Seed Bank for ~2.5 years at -20 C prior to isolation.

- Abstract
A comprehensive morphological and genetic study of type material and new collections of sequestrate Russulales species formerly belonging to the genera Arcangeliella, Elasmomyces, Gymnomyces, Hydnangium, Hymenogaster, Macowanites, Martellia, Secotium and Zelleromyces is here undertaken, for the purpose of providing a complete taxonomical revision of sequestrate Russulaceae species in the Mediterranean and temperate regions of Europe. As a result, seven distinct taxa in the genus Lactarius and 18 in the genus Russula are identified. Six of them are new species: L. populicola, L. subgiennensis, R. bavarica, R. candidissima, R. hobartiae and R. mediterraneensis, and seven represent new combinations: L. josserandii (≡ Zelleromyces josserandii), L. soehneri (≡ Hydnangium soehneri), R. candida (≡ Hydnangium candidum), R. cerea (≡ Hydnangium cereum), R. messapica var. messapicoides (≡ Macowanites messapicoides), R. meridionalis (≡ Zelleromyces meridionalis) and R. neuhoffii (≡ Hydnangium neuhoffii). Twenty-two of the 25 taxa are illustrated, while descriptions, microscopy images, as well as extensive information on the ecology, chorology and phylogeny for all taxa are provided. A key is further included to facilitate their identification.

[EN] The increase in use, as well as the possibilities offered by mobile devices, tablets or smartphones in our daily lives, means that these tools can be incorporated, without additional costs, and with great didactic possibilities, in the contexts of university education. This aspect contributes without a doubt, to the proliferation of technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), which allows, using the aforementioned devices, to facilitate the combination of digital information and physical information in real time. In this article the problem of the conceptualization of the RA wont be presented, but its intended to offer a vision through the analysis of two of the variables that can be considered as limiting in the use of this technology in the university contexts: lack of research, and the few learning objects generated in RA format (all without forgetting the need to have theoretical frameworks to facilitate their educational incorporation). Likewise, its necessary to start from the fact that, if this technology is to be incorporated into university education, its essential that universities create and strengthen production centers that facilitate and/or help the teacher to produce them. And this, not because some objects can not be produced by the teachers themselves, but because complex objects require the management of complex programs, as well as the elaboration of resources of certain, much, difficulty., [ES] El aumento del uso, así como de las posibilidades que ofrecen los dispositivos móviles, tablets o los smartphones en nuestra vida diaria, conlleva que dichas herramientas puedan ser incorporadas, sin costes adicionales, y con grandes posibilidades didácticas, en los contextos de formación universitaria.

Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive neoplasm, with poor prognosis and survival. As most patients with pancreatic cancer are diagnosed at an advanced stage, the objetive of mostly treatment is palliative. Predisposing medical conditions for the development of pancreatic cancer include chronic pancreatitis. The link between the two pathologies is supported in that pancreatic inflammation may play a role in the early development of pancreatic malignancy. The difficulties in discriminating between chronic pancreatitis and adenocarcinoma in the early state, using currently employed diagnosis imaging and tumour marker analysis, result in poor sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis. We report one case suggestive of pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed two years after palliative treatment.

- Abstract
The current understanding of the mechanisms controlling the proliferation and differentiation of the stem cells of the gastric oxyntic glands is limited. The aim of the present study was to develop a method for investigating proliferation and differentiation of undifferentiated cells from fetal rat stomach. Outgrowth of cells was initiated from explants of 16-day-old fetal rat stomachs. At this stage of the fetal development the gastric epithelial cells are undifferentiated. The explants were cultured in DMEM/F-12 medium supplemented with fetal calf serum only, or fetal calf serum combined with either hydrocortisone or pentagastrin. Morphological characterization by means of light microscopy, dye staining and immunostaining was used to identify the growing cells. Both hydrocortisone and pentagastrin accelerated the differentiation towards H,K-ATPase-positive cells, mucus-producing cells and other epithelial cells. H,K-ATPase-positive cells, which were identified by immunostaining with a monoclonal antibody reacting with the α-subunit of the H,K-ATPase, grew on top of the confluent layer of epithelioid and fibroblastoid cells. With this method in vitro investigations of the mechanisms of proliferation and differentiation of gastric mucosal cells are possible. Although by different mechanisms, both hydrocortisone and pentagastrin appear to play a regulatory role in these processes.

44. Inhibition of H,K‐ATPase and Na,K‐ATPase by DIDS, a disulphonic stilbene derivative

- Abstract
Disulphonic stilbenes are effective inhibitors of an anion exchanger which is present in the plasma membranes of many cells (Cabantchik et al. 1978). In the present study, the effects of 4,4′‐diisothiocyano‐2,2′‐disulphonic stilbene acid (DIDS) on the transport activity of the hydrochloric acid pump isolated from pig stomach (H,K‐ATPase, EC 3.6.1.36) were tested. Half‐maximal inhibition of proton transport carried out by the H,K‐ATPase in the isolated vesicles was observed at micromolar concentrations of DIDS. The effects of DIDS on the adenosine‐triphosphatase and p‐nitrophenyl‐phosphatase activities of isolated H,K‐ATPase were also studied and compared with those of the kinetically and structurally related Na,K‐ATPase (EC 3.6.1.37). Half‐maximal inhibition of the enzymatic activities of both enzymes were observed in the micromolar range of DIDS. The lipid bilayer of the gastric vesicle membrane is highly asymmetric and the original cytosolic side is facing the outside of the vesicle. Since DIDS does not readily cross the membrane, it is most likely that DIDS exerts its inhibitory effects by modifying the transport ATPases on their cytosolic sides.

- Abstract
A multigene phylogenetic analysis of Genabea, Myrmecocystis, and related genera in Pyronemataceae was conducted to establish genetically supported generic limits. The nuc rDNA 28S gene, translation elongation factor 1-α gene (TEF1), and RNA polymerase II second-largest subunit gene (RPB2) significantly supported the monophyly of several distinct genera of hypogeous Pyronemataceae. The genetic identity of Genabea fragilis is established, and the new species Genabea hyalospora, G. urbana, Myrmecocystis mediterranea, and M. microspora are proposed to accommodate undescribed lineages. Two rare species, M. sphaerospora and M. spinospora, are tentatively identified based on collections that are morphologically similar to the original descriptions. The genus Genea was found to be monophyletic, except for G. cazaresii, which is nested among epigeous species of Humaria. The new combination Humaria cazaresii is proposed to accommodate this species.

- Abstract
The Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score (ASPECTS) is a useful scoring system for assessing early ischemic signs on noncontrast computed tomography (CT). Cerebral blood volume (CBV) on CT perfusion defines the core lesion assumed to be irreversibly damaged. We aim to explore the advantages of CBV_ASPECTS over CT_ASPECTS in the prediction of final infarct volume according to time., Methods: Consecutive patients with anterior circulation stroke who underwent endovascular reperfusion according to initial CT_ASPECTS ≥7 were studied. CBV_ASPECTS was assessed blindly later on. Recanalization was defined as thrombolysis in cerebral ischemia score 2b-3. Final infarct volumes were measured on follow-up imaging. We compared ASPECTS on CBV and CT images, and defined ASPECTS agreement as: CT_ASPECTS - CBV_ASPECTS ≤1., Results: Sixty-five patients, with a mean age of 67 ± 14 years and a median National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score of 16 (range 10-20), were studied. The recanalization rate was 78.5%. The median CT_ASPECTS was 9 (range 8-10), and the CBV_ASPECTS was 8 (range 8-10). The mean time from symptoms to CT was 219 ± 143 min. Fifty patients (76.9%) showed ASPECTS agreement. The ASPECTS difference was inversely correlated to the time from symptoms to CT (r = -0.36, p < 0.01). A ROC curve defined 120 min as the best cutoff point after which the ASPECTS difference becomes more frequently ≤1. After 120 min, 89.5% of the patients showed ASPECTS agreement (as compared with 37.5% for <120 min, p < 0.01). CBV_ASPECTS but not CT_ASPECTS correlated with final infarct (r = -0.33, p < 0.01). However, if CT was done >2 h after symptom onset, CT_ASPECTS also correlated to final infarct (r = -0.39, p = 0.01)., Conclusions: In acute stroke, CBV_ASPECTS correlates with the final infarct volume. However, when CT is performed after 120 min from symptom onset, CBV_ASPECTS does not add relevant information to CT_ASPECTS.
