Dvořáček, J. The possible uses of viral marketing tools to support the propagation of the faculty. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014. This bachelor thesis deals with viral marketing in a relation to its possible use for the propagation of the Faculty of Business and Economics. The key concepts of marketing are introduced in the theoretical section. The practical part is focused on creating viral videos for the Faculty of Bussiness and Economics and their sub- sequent analysis and evaluation.

Title: The using of combat sports in physical education at high school Goals: To find out the high school pupils' relation to physical education, their relation to combat sports and their relation to class of combat sports Methods: This is a quantitative research, in which will be used method of questioning by questionnaire. Results: Results indicate what the relations of high school pupils to physical education, to combat sports and to the class of combat sports. We found out, that the relations are mostly positive. Title: Attitudes of physical education teachers in martial arts Goals: To find out the perspective of teachers in the martial arts, what is their relation to this problematic and if they would agree to include these activities in physical education program. Methods: This is an empirical research, which will be used method of questioning by questionnaire. Results: Results indicate what sports teachers think about combat sports and show if teachers attitude to these activities is rather positive or negative and why. PharmDr. Petr Nachtigal, PhD Title of Thesis: The study of atorvastatin effect on the expression of TGF-β1 cascade marker. Background: The aim of this thesis was to establish and describe the expression of phosphorylated form of Smad2 in the atherosclerotic lesions in apoE/LDLr-deficient mice. Moreover we evaluated the effect of atorvastatin on p-Smad-2 expression beyond its lipid lowering effects. Methods: Using female mice C57BL/6J strain with a double deficit of apolipoprotein E and LDL-receptor was performed biochemical analysis of blood specimens, histological staining with oil red for detection of lipids and immunohistochemical analysis of aortic siinus. Avidin-biotin method with DAB visualization was used to detect expression of p- Smad2. Results: Using biochemical analysis we confirmed increased levels of cholesterol in mice fed standard diet with addition of atorvastatin as compared with mice on standard diet. Histological staining with oil red showed significant decrease in atherosclerotic lesion size in mice treated by atorvastatin as compared with untreated group. Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology Student: Jan Dvořáček Supervisor: Prof. Norberto Aguirre, PharmDr. Jana Pourová, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Sildenafil causes a large neuroprotection against malonate-induced lesion of the rat striatum. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the neuroprotective effects of sildenafil (PDE-5 inhibitor) and of the substance SB203580 (p38 MAP kinase inhibitor). Both substances provided significant protection against malonate-induced lesions in the rat striatum. The results showed that the protective effects of sildenafil are not related to any effect on ROS production. The model of malonate-induced lesions was examined as well. The Bax levels remained unchanged in both the mitochondria and cytosol in the malonate-treated rats. Similarly, no changes in cytochrome c levels were observed.
