Background and Aims: Removable partial denture (RPDs) is a common therapy for rehabilitation of partialy edentulous patients while RPD causes a lot of periodontal problems. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of RPDs made in Babol dental school on the periodontal health of abutment and non-abutment teeth. Materials and Methods: In this cross sectional study, 70 patients who were candidates for RPDs divided into four groups according to Kennedy classification. The following periodontal parameters were evaluated for abutment and non-abutment teeth, plaque index (PI), calculus index (CI), width of keratinized gingiva, bleeding on probing (BOP), periodontal pocket depth (PPD), tooth mobility (TM) and gingival recession. This clinical measurement was taken immediately before insertion of the RPD, then one, three, and six months later. Objective (s): Edutainment (education through entertainment) could be effective in promoting knowledge and creating behavioral changes among children. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of puzzle game on knowledge and oral health behavior of children. Methods: In this semi-experimented study 100 students of both genders were divided equally into two intervention and control groups. Then a “Healthy Mouth Puzzle” game was taught to the students of intervention group through a designed banner. Data were collected by self-designed questionnaires before and immediately after intervention, and at one-month follow-up. The data were analyzed performing t-test, and one way analysis of variance. Results: The mean score of knowledge before, immediately after and one month after the implementation of the intervention were found to be 8.92±1.50, 11.0±1.47 and 11.96±1.43 (P=0.0001) for the intervention group. However in the control group, the difference of knowledge mean score was non significance in the three returns (P=0.43). Background: This study was designed to investigate job satisfaction and its relation to perceived job stress among hospital nurses in Babol County, Iran.Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 406 female nurses in 6 Babol hospitals.Respondents completed the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), the health and safety executive (HSE) indicator tool and a demographic questionnaire. Descriptive, analytical and structural equation modeling (SEM) analyses were carried out applying SPSS v. 22 and AMOS v. 22.Results: The Normed Fit Index (NFI), Non-normed Fit Index (NNFI), Incremental Fit Index (IFI)and Comparative Fit Index (CFI) were greater than 0.9. Also, goodness of fit index (GFI=0.99)and adjusted goodness of fit index (AGFI) were greater than 0.8, and root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) were 0.04, The model was found to be with an appropriate fit. The R-squared was 0.42 for job satisfaction, and all its dimensions were related to job stress. The dimensions of job stress explained 42% of changes in the variance of job satisfaction. There was a significant relationship between the dimensions of job stress such as demand (β =0.173,CI =0.095 - 0.365, P≤0.001), control (β =0.135, CI =0.062 - 0.404, P =0.008), relationships(β =-0.208, CI =-0.637– -0.209; P≤0.001) and changes (β =0.247, CI =0.360 - 1.026, P≤0.001)with job satisfaction.Conclusion: One of the important interventions to increase job satisfaction among nurses maybe improvement in the workplace. Reducing the level of workload in order to improve job demand and minimizing role conflict through reducing conflicting demands are recommended.

Background and Aim: Keratocystic odontogenic tumor (KCOT), formerly known as odontogenic keratocyst (OKC), is a developmental odontogenic cyst with an invasivebehavior and high recurrence rate. Radicular cyst (RC) is an inflammatory non-invasive dental cyst, with no tendency to recurrence. Bcl2-associated X (BAX) protein acts as an apoptotic activator (pro-apoptotic protein), disrupts the integrity of mitochondrial membrane, and leads to the loss of outer membrane and release of cytochrome c from the inner membrane into the cytosol. Since KCOT is more aggressive and has a greater tendency to recurrence than RC, the aim of this study was to assess the immunohistochemical expression of BAX protein in the epithelial lining of RC and KCOT. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive analytical study, paraffinized blocks of 17 RCs and 17 KCOTs fixed in 10% formalin were used (all KCOT samples were non-inflammatory and non-syndromic). After confirming the diagnoses by reviewing the slides, tissuespecimens with sufficient length of epithelium were stained by immunohistochemistry (IHC) for BAX marker. Then, the stained cells were randomly counted in five high power fields. Analysis of the data was performed using SPSS 21 via Student's t-test and chi-test. Background and Aims: This study aimed to determine the attitudes of Ayatollah RouhaniBabol hospital nurses towards the use of clinical information system on efficiency and quality of nursing services.Methods: After the literature review, a primary model including five variables influencing system acceptance were proposed. A questionnaire including 26 questions based on the variables was developed, the validity and reliability of which were tested and confirmed by an expert panel and through Cronbach Alpha. Questionnaires were distributed among 350 nurses in Babol Ayatollah Rouhani Hospital in 1392 that were selected using random sampling method. To confirm the model and determine the relationship between variables, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used by applying LISREL software.Results: Nurses’ attitude scores obtained in four dimensions: time, information exchange, the role of nurses and quality of service. t-test results - two-sample and ANOVA showed that in different levels of demographic variables, including gender, marital status education, and work experience sections, there was no significant difference (P>0/05).
