Abstract

This paper presents the next evolution of FD-MIMO technology for beyond 5G, where antennas of the FD-MIMO system are placed in a distributed manner throughout the cell in a multi-cell deployment scenario. This system, referred to as Distributed FD-MIMO (D-FD-MIMO) system, is capable of providing higher cell average throughput as well as more uniform user experience compared to the conventional FD-MIMO system. System level simulations are performed to evaluate performance. Our results show that the proposed D-FD-MIMO system achieves 1.4-2 times cell average throughput gain compared to the FD-MIMO system. The insights of performance gain are provided. Hardware implementation challenges and potential standards impact are also presented.

3. Pharmacokinetic study of five components of Fuzheng Huayu tablets in healthy human plasma.

Abstract

Natural medicines play a crucial role in clinical drug applications, serving as a primary traditional Chinese medicine for the clinical treatment of liver fibrosis. Understanding the in vivo metabolic process of the Fuzheng Huayu (FZHY) formula is essential for delving into its material basis and mechanism. In recent years, there has been a growing body of research focused on the mechanisms and component analysis of FZHY. This study aimed to examine the pharmacokinetics of FZHY in healthy volunteers following oral administration. Blood samples were collected at designated time intervals after the oral intake of 9.6‐g FZHY tablets. A UHPLC‐Q/Exactive method was developed to assess the plasma concentrations of five components post‐FZHY ingestion. The peak time for all components occurred within 10 min. The peak concentration (Cmax) values for amygdalin, schisandrin, and schisandrin A ranged from 3.47 to 28.80 ng/mL, with corresponding AUC(0–t) values ranging from 10.63 to 103.20 ng h/mL. For schisandrin B and prunasin, Cmax values were in the range of 86.52 to 229.10 ng/mL, and their AUC(0–t) values ranged from 375.26 to 1875.54 ng h/mL, indicating significant exposure within the body. These findings demonstrate that the developed method enables rapid and accurate detection and quantification of the five components in FZHY, offering a valuable reference for its clinical study. Abstract

Purpose: To explore the molecular targets of Guanxin Danshen Dripping Pills (GXDS) in regulating psycho-cardiology disease through identifying its components by UPLC-MS/MS and network pharmacology approach. Methods: Ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) was adopted to determine GXDS’ main constituents. SwissTargetPrediction and the similarity ensemble approach were employed to predict possible molecular targets. Targets for psycho-cardiological disease were identified from the GeneCards database. The GXDS components overlapping these targets were identified using Venny web tool (version 2.1.0). Functional enrichment analysis was performed using Gene Ontology knowledgebase, while enrichment analysis of Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways was undertaken. In Cytoscape, target-pathway, pathway-target, and compound-target networks were constructed. Results: Among the 37 chemical components identified through UPLC-MS/MS, 19 were combined with 63 psycho-cardiological disease targets, which were subjected to gene ontology enrichment analysis to obtain terms corresponding to the sub-ontologies of cellular components, molecular functions, and biological processes (30, 84, and 1188, respectively). Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis revealed 109 related pathways. Conclusion: This study identified GXDS components, combined them through network pharmacology analysis, and explored the material basis and targets of the therapeutic effect of GXDS on psycho-cardiological disease. Thus, GXDS is a potential candidate for use in the clinical treatment of psycho-cardiological diseases
