The eyes are one of the most vulnerable human organs. An important place among all traumatic injuries belongs to burns, which are characterized by a large number of adverse consequences. Today, the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine is mainly occupied by drugs of foreign origin, therefore, the urgent task of modern pharmacy is to create and expand the range of the domestic pharmaceutical market and the relative cheapness of the drug in comparison with other drugs, in a future. The employees of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University (ZSMU), together with specialists from NPO Pharmatron, synthesized a new compound called “Angiolin” ((S)-2,6-diaminohexanoic acid 3-methyl-1,2,4-triazolyl -5-thioacetate). The obtained compound has anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, reparative effect .A rational dosage form in the form of eye drops was proposed and created for the new drug. The aim of the work is to develop a technique for standardizing the active substance in “Angiolin” eye drops ((S)-2,6-diaminohexanoic acid 3-methyl-1,2,4-triazolyl-5-thioacetate) by spectrophotometry. Materials and methods: A certified substance of аngiolin was used in the research (manufacturer: State Enterprise “Plant of Chemical Reagents” of the Scientific and Technological Complex “Institute of Single Crystals” of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, series 2451117). The spectrophotometric method for the analysis of the аngiolin substance was taken as a basis. The studies were carried out using an Optizen POP spectrophotometer, measurements were carried out at a wavelength in the range of 200–300 nm, a cuvette thickness of 10 mm. Results. Studies were performed on six series of 1% eye drops “Angiolin”, which was quantified by spectrophotometric method. It was found that the content of аngiolin in eye drops was in the range of 0.00981–0.01011 g/ml. Thus, in terms of the content of the active substance, the studied series of eye drops meets the requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia. Subsequently, another five series of «Angiolin» eye drops were analyzed, which also met the pharmacopoeial requirements for the content of the active substance (0.00980–0.01015 g/ml). We believe that the developed method for standardizing eye drops is reproducible. Conclusion: In the research, we have developed a method for standardizing the active substance in “Angiolin” eye drops by spectrophotometry. The developed technique is reproducible, accurate, and in the future, after its validation, it can be used in the standardization of the active substance in various dosage forms.

Visual organ injuries are still one of the main causes of blindness and occupational disability. Despite the good protection of the eyeball by the bone walls of the orbit and adnexa oculi, its injuries are 5–10 % of the total number of all damages in peacetime and about 20 % in wartime. Employees of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University (ZSMU) together with the specialists of the SPA “Farmatron” under the supervision of professor I. A. Mazur synthesized a new compound, called Angiolin. The aim of the research is to study the anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, reparative activity of the Angiolin eye drops action during a chemical burn of the cornea rabbits modeling. Materials and methods: The pharmacological efficacy of the prepared Angiolin eye drops in concentrations: 0.5 %, 1.0 %, 1.5 %, 2.0 % and 2.5 % has been studied. All studies were carried out on 40 eyes of 20 Chinchilla breed rabbits of both sexes weighing 2.1–3.5 kg. The chemical burn model was reproduced according to the Obenberger method using 10 % sodium hydroxide solution (application of8 mm blotting paper), exposure time 20 seconds, after preliminary installation anesthesia with 0.5 % Alcaine solution. Results. Based on experimental data, it can be noted that Angiolin eye drops in concentrations: 1.0 %, 1.5 %, 2.0 %, 2.5 % show almost the same pharmacological activity, and 1 % Angiolin eye drops were the most effective, that gives us the opportunity for further study. Conclusions. Angiolin eye drops exhibit high anti-inflammatory, wound healing, reparative activity in the treatment of eye burn. As a result of the study, it was found that 1 % of Angiolin eye drops turned out to be the most effective. The obtained results are an experimental rationale for further study of 1 % Angiolin eye drops.

At the current stage of the development of the veterinary pharmacy in Ukraine, the regulation of requirements to all stages of the life cycle of veterinary medicines (VM) is due to the establishment and implementation of national regulations of GMP. The purpose of our studing was to develop a legislative framework for the introduction GMP in production of VM in the algorithm: the legal framework, ready experts from GхP, informing producers. In order to achieve the objectives, the analysis and grouping of Ukrainian and European directives and standards that regulate the requirements for the production of veterinary medicines were conducted. To date, by Order No. 606 of 10.11.2017, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine approved the Regulations and Rules of GMP. However, the primary authorization document for the conduct of economic activity is a license. The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 3, 2018 No. 808 approved the Licensing conditions for conducting economic activities for the production of veterinary medicines, which are consistent with the requirements of GMP for veterinary medicines, as well as one of the obligatory documents is Site Master File. The analysis of the SMF identifies manufacturers of VM that do not meet the established requirements for production conditions, technological processes, quality control, implementation of the pharmaceutical quality system and personnel training. The next task is to prepare experts in the field of inspection for compliance with GMP requirements for veterinary medicines, so within three years, the experts in the sector of good practices of the National Agency of State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives take on the positive experience of certified PIC / S inspectors, participate in joint inspections on Compliance with GMP European Veterinary Products. Informing manufacturers of VM is also important in this GMP implementation strategy. Every year, starting from 2014, State Scientific-Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medicinal Products and Feed Additives and fodder supplements, with the support of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection hold on international conferences and seminars with the participation of European and American experts where highlighted the peculiarities of implementation and maintenance of GMP requirements. Thus, the approval of the legislative framework, the preparation of experts on GxP and the clarification of new requirements for implementation of producers is a prerequisite for confirming the compliance of the GMP requirements of veterinary preparations in Ukraine.

Plasma levels were measured of T4, free T4, T3, TSH in 64 premature neonates and in 41 those born at right time during the time-related course of the neonatal period. The results secured permit regarding the thyroid hypohormonosis syndrome in premature neonates as a consequence of the hypothalamic-hypophyseal-thyroid axis deficiency and of immaturity of the thyreostatic receptors as well. On the one hand, this promotes hypometabolism and, correspondingly, favours more economic utilization of bodily energy resources but on the other hand, such adaptation is not infrequently results in its failure and persistent thyrodeficiency, especially in very low-birth weight infants, during the whole of the neonatal period.

In order to evaluate the morphologic-and-functional state of the hypophysis-thyroid system long after the Chernobyl accident we examined 1491 children from the northern territories of the Zhitomir region. Of these, 261 had not been in utero exposed to radioiodine, 1230 pediatric subjects proved to be postconception-exposed. In utero radioiodine has not been found to affect the thyroid size in any noticeable way. The degree of structural-and-functional indices for the thyreostat system in prenatally irradiated children depends on the stage of the thyroid development just when there happened to be an exposure to radioiodine.
