Abstract

To improve the environment of the ecosystem, China has implemented the Green-forGrain Program for two decades, which has resulted in an imbalance among ecology.economy and food. This study focuses on the "ecology-food" imbalance problem.taking Sichuan-Chongqing Region as an example, to set up future scenarios topredicate the distribution of ESs. We first forecast land use/cover change in 2050under four different scenarios: Natural Development Scenarios; Arable LandConservation Scenarios; Ecological Priority Scenarios; Ecology-Arable LandHarmonization Scenarios. Then we assess changes in five ESs: habitat quality ,cropproduction, soil conservation, water yield, and carbon storage from 1990 to 2020 and2050. Finally, we reveal the spacial distribution of ESs. The following conclusions areobtained: (1) From 1990-2020, CS, SC, and HQ reveal an increasing trend with growthrates of 1.68%, 0.08%, and 0.46%: CP reveals a reduce rate of 2.75% . (2) S4 has anincrease in arable land, and CP has increased by 7.56% compared to S1, reversingthe trend of reduced CP under S1. (3) The high-high anomalies area of CP under S4 isoasically the same as that under S2, which proves that S4 is a scenario policy that canbe referred to for future development., Comment: 9 figures, and 7 tables

Abstract

Photorealistic avatars of human faces have come a long way in recent years, yet research along this area is limited by a lack of publicly available, high-quality datasets covering both, dense multi-view camera captures, and rich facial expressions of the captured subjects. In this work, we present Multiface, a new multi-view, high-resolution human face dataset collected from 13 identities at Reality Labs Research for neural face rendering. We introduce Mugsy, a large scale multi-camera apparatus to capture high-resolution synchronized videos of a facial performance. The goal of Multiface is to close the gap in accessibility to high quality data in the academic community and to enable research in VR telepresence. Along with the release of the dataset, we conduct ablation studies on the influence of different model architectures toward the model's interpolation capacity of novel viewpoint and expressions. With a conditional VAE model serving as our baseline, we found that adding spatial bias, texture warp field, and residual connections improves performance on novel view synthesis. Abstract

With the implementation of the "plastic restriction order" and the demand for sustainable society development, biodegradable coatings derived from biomass materials have garnered significant interest. This study presents the synthesis of a double‐salt bio‐based waterborne polyurethane (PLA‐WPU) by utilizing poly(lactic acid) polyol (PLA) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) as the main raw materials, along with 2,2‐dihydroxymethylpropionic acid (DMPA) and sodium ethylenediamine ethanesulfonate (A‐95) as a hydrophilic chain extender. Synergistic reinforcement of PLA‐WPU using hydrophobically modified cellulose nanocrystals (M‐CNC) and polycarbonate diimide (PDCDA). At an M‐CNC content of 3% relative to the effective mass of PLA‐WPU, the tensile strength reached 36.12 MPa. After 8 days a lipase PBS solution, the degradation rate reached 54%. Excellent waterproof performance was observed, exhibiting a contact angle of 143.5°. When applied as a surface coating on kraft paper, the Cobb 60 value decreased from 74.0 to 28.6 g/m2, while increasing the tensile strength by 451.3%. Importantly, the kraft paper maintained excellent waterproofing, mechanical strength, and high barrier properties even after repeated folding, high and low‐temperature conditions, and exposure to varying pH solutions. It proved to be both degradable and recyclable, making it a promising alternative to liner paper or plastic membrane, especially in food packaging. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

With rapid advances in electronic and communication technology, electromagnetic interference and other problems are becoming increasingly prominent. Thus, electromagnetic interference shielding materials have recently garnered extensive attention. In this study, a multi‐walled carbon nanotube/polyurethane/non‐woven electromagnetic shielding material (CPNW) is developed using impregnation and nonsolvent‐induced‐phase separation techniques. Utilizing a three‐dimensional nonwoven network as the substrate, the "nonwoven fabric‐polyurethane‐carbon nanotube" composite is impregnated and cured via the non‐solvent‐induced‐phase separation method, resulting in a distinctive porous dual‐network structure that ensures robust interfacial bonding between carbon nanotubes, nonwoven fabric, and polyurethane. At a carbon nanotube content of 10% (based on the mass of nonwoven fabric), CPNW exhibited an electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of 28.8 dB, a thermal conductivity of 0.127 W m−1 K−1, and a burning time of 1 min and 15 s, demonstrating outstanding electromagnetic shielding, flame retardant, and infrared stealth capabilities. Overall, this study laid a theoretical groundwork for the development of multifunctional non‐woven electromagnetic shielding materials with widespread application potential in aerospace, military, artificial intelligence, and wearable electronics.
