Antibiotic fermentation residue (AFR) is a form of bioavailable matter, that represents a typical category of hazardous waste associated with drug production in China. The disposal of these residues seriously restricts the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical industry. In this study, the steam explosion and aerobic composting (SEA-CBS) system was developed to thoroughly convert neomycin fermentation residue to organic fertilizer. The results implied that the ultimate removal rate of antibiotics was as high as 99.9% in all cases, including macrolide (kitasamycin and spiramycin), lincosamide (lincomycin), and beta-lactam (cephalosporin and penicillin) antibiotic biowastes. Pot experiments were also conducted to study the attenuation rule of antibiotic residues in the soil, and the distribution of antibiotic resistant genes from trace antibiotics. The produced fertilizer presented the better performance on mustard growth than conventional fertilizers. The average plant height and biomass were increased by 14.33%–55.83% and 136.71%–326.83%, respectively, after SEA-CBS pretreatment. Moreover, neomycin was the primary selective pressure, and six antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) correlated with neomycin were screened. The acc(6′)ib gene was identified as the target ARGs, the main resistance mechanism was antibiotic inactivation, and the absolute and relative abundances were 1.06 × 105 ± 3.80 × 104 copies/g and 6.23 × 10−4 ± 1.75 × 10−4 copies/16 s in the NFR-amended soils. The microbial community analysis showed that the variation of the soil microbial community was not dominated by neomycin fermentation residue (NFR) at initial concentrations below 0.42 μg/kg soil. This work demonstrated that the SEA-CBS system not only functioned as an efficient technology for concurrent neomycin sulfate removal and NFR composting, but also applied to a wide range of other antibiotic bio-wastes, which may benefit the recycling of AFR, as well as the data provide a theoretical basis for future agricultural utilization and safe evaluation.

The 2019 novel coronavirus infection has brought a great challenge in prevention and control of the national epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in China. During the fight against the epidemic of COVID-19, properly carrying out pre-examination and triage for patients with skin lesions and fever has been a practical problem encountered in hospitals for skin diseases as well as clinics of dermatology in general hospitals. Considering that certain skin diseases may have symptom of fever, and some of the carriers of 2019 novel coronavirus and patients with COVID-19 at their early stage may do not present any symptoms of COVID-19, to properly deal with the visitors to clinics of dermatology, the Chinese Society of Dermatology organized experts to formulate the principles and procedures for pre-examination and triage of visitors to clinics of dermatology during the epidemic of COVID-19.

Ultrahigh-temperature ceramics were added to C/C composites to meet their application requirement in a high-temperature oxidizing environment. C/C−ZrB2−SiC composites were fabricated by high-solid-loading slurry impregnation with polymer infiltration and pyrolysis. The dispersion and rheological behavior of ZrB2 slurry and the microstructural, mechanical, and ablation properties of the C/C−ZrB2−SiC composites were investigated. Results indicated that a well-dispersed and low-viscosity ZrB2 slurry was obtained using 0.40 wt.% polyethyleneimine as a dispersant at pH 5. Ceramics were uniformly distributed in the short-cut fiber layer and needle-punched area. The flexural strength of the C/C−ZrB2−SiC composites was 309.30 MPa. The composites exhibited satisfactory ablation resistance under the oxyacetylene flame of 2500 °C, and the mass and linear ablation rates were 0.40 mg/s and 0.91 μm/s, respectively. A continuous and compact ZrO2 layer, which could effectively reduce the diffusion rate of oxygen and protect the composites from being ablated, was formed.

ZnFe2O4 hollow spheres (ZFHs) with sizes of 200–302 nm were synthesized by simple impregnating method using the as-prepared phenolic formaldehyde (PF) spheres as templates and subsequent annealing at 500–700 °C. The prepared ZFHs are assembled by a large number of small nanoparticles with sizes of 15–20 nm, and many mesopores exist among these nanoparticles. The samples annealed at 500–550 °C exhibit a single cubic spinel structure, while higher annealing temperature leads to the formation of hexagonal ZnO and rhombohedral α-Fe2O3 secondary phases. The size of the assembled nanoparticles increases with the increase in annealing temperature. Novel magnetic transformation from paramagnetic to ferrimagnetic is induced by the reduction of annealing temperature and the saturation magnetization significantly increases from 2.3 to 13.5 A·m2/kg. The effect of the formation of hollow sphere structure on the redistribution of Fe3+ and Zn2+ in the spinel structure was studied.

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the difference of efficacy between moxibustion (experimental group) and local diclofenac sodium gel (control group) in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis (KOA).MethodsA multicenter, double-blinded, double-placebo, randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted in this research. 144 participants with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into two groups according to 1:1 ratio. The participants in the experimental group were treated with active Moxibustion plus placebo gel, whereas the control group was given diclofenac sodium gel plus placebo moxibustion. Moxibustion treatment was administrated at 3 acupoints (EX-LE4, ST35, ST36) for 4 weeks in 12 sessions. The entire trial cycle lasted 13 weeks, including 1 week at baseline, 4 weeks at treatment and 8 weeks at follow-up. Diclofenac sodium gel or placebo gel at a dose of 4 g per knee were applied three times per day for 4 weeks. The primary outcome measures were the changes in the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). Secondary outcome measures included changes in other subscales of WOMAC (pain, stiffness and function), visual analogue scale (VAS) and participant overall assessment (PGA).ResultsThe analysis showed that both the experimental group and the control group at 2 weeks, 4weeks, 8weeks and 12 weeks were statistically significant compared with baseline (P 0.05). At 8 weeks, WOMAC total score (95% CI, 4.3 [0.5 to 8.1], P=0.03), pain score (95% CI, 1.0 [0.2 to 1.9], P=0.02) and functional score (95% CI, 3.0 [0.1 to 5.8], P=0.04) the control group are better than the experimental group (P < 0.05). At 12 weeks, there were no significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). ConclusionsDuring the treatment, moxibustion has the same therapeutic effect as local diclofenac sodium gel, which can alleviate the pain of KOA participants to different degrees, rigidity and dysfunction. The therapeutic effect of it can basically maintained until 2 months after treatment. Local diclofenac sodium gel was superior to moxibustion in relieving knee pain and knee dysfunction at 8 weeks.Trial registration number Clinical Trials.gov, NCT02769572.Date of trial registration May 2016＃These authors contributed equally to this work.

Objective: To observe the effects of montelukast sodium combined with pidotimod on acute phase protein (APP) and indexes of immunologic function in pediatric acute bronchitis treatment. Methods: A total of 180 cases children with acute bronchitis acted as research objects were randomly divided into control group (n=65) and observation group (n=63). On the basis of conventional therapy, control group was treated by plus pidotimod. On this base, observation group was treated with montelukast sodium. The changes of acute phase proteins (CRP, HP, a1-AAG and CER) and immune function (CD3+ , CD4+ , CD8+ and CD4+ /CD8+ ) levels before and after treatment were observed after 2 months. Results: Before treatment, CRP, HP, a1-AAG, CER, CD3+ , CD4+ , CD8+ and CD4+ /CD8+ levels of two groups had no statistically significant difference; CRP, HP, a1-AAG, CER, and CD8+ levels of control and observation groups decreased significantly after treatment, the decreases of observation group were more obvious than that of control group, and the levels after treatment were significantly lower than that of control groups. The levels of CD3+ , CD4+ and CD4+ /CD8+ in two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment. For observation group, the levels of CD3+ , CD4+ and CD4+ /CD8+ increased more significantly after treatment, which were significantly higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Using Montelukast sodium combined with pidotimod can effectively reduce the children's acute phase protein levels, improve immune function, which has clinical value for the treatment of children with acute bronchitis.

In order to further improve the stability accuracy and anti-disturbance ability of the photoelectric stabilization platform, this paper proposes disturbance separation active disturbance rejection (DSADRC) method. Disturbance separation active disturbance rejection control makes full use of the available system model information and uses disturbance separation to separate the known disturbances from the total disturbance to be estimated, and improve the estimation accuracy of expanded state observer (ESO) by reducing the load. At the same time, it gets rid of the constraints of the standard integral series type in the traditional active disturbance rejection control, and takes the actual theoretical model of the system as the compensated model of the system, thus realizing the reuse of the system controller and reducing the workload of control algorithm design. And through simulation experiments, the DSADRC method is compared with the commonly used expected frequency characteristic method (EF), linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC), model-assisted linear active disturbance rejection (MLADRC), and the experimental results show that: The DSADRC has better dynamic response performance and disturbance suppression ability.

NanoSiO2 was widely used to modify the property of cementitious materials, however, for nanoparticles used in cement-based materials, key problem is the effective dispersion. The surface modification technology can be introduced to promote dispersion of nanoparticles in aqueous system, especially in cement pore solution, which possess high concentration of ions. In this study, at first, NanoSiO2-polycarboxylate superplasticizer (SiO2-PCE) core-shell nanoparticle was synthesized from silanized polycarboxylate superplasticizer and colloidal nanoSiO2 by the “grafting to” method, then SiO2-PCE was testified by UV-Vis, FTIR, and TGA. Additionally, stability of SiO2-PCE and its effect on cement hydration were investigated. Results shows: SiO2-PCE possess higher stability in saturated calcium hydroxide solution compared to nanoSiO2, and heat development of cement hydration can be regulated by shell structure of SiO2-PCE. The research implied a new approach for nanoSiO2 to optimize cement-based composites.

Carbon/carbon–copper(C/C–Cu) composites are fabricated by infiltration of Cu into Mo2C interlayer-modified carbon/carbon(C/C) preforms. Effect of graphitization on the microstructure and properties of the C/C–Cu composites is studied. The C/C–Cu composite with graphitization shows lower electrical resistivity, thermal expansion coefficient, friction coefficient, and an obvious higher thermal conductivity due to higher graphitization degree. However, it presents lower flexural strength, impact toughness, and higher wear rate. The composite with graphitization exhibits mainly abrasive wear while that without graphitization exhibits mainly adhesion wear, and both composites show oxidation wear.

Tinea faciei is a relatively uncommon dermatophyte infection entailing atypical clinical symptoms, usually misdiagnosed and treated with corticosteroids. The authors describe a case of tinea faciei on the right eyebrow caused by Trichophyton interdigitale. The patient was an 18-year-old girl, who had an inflammatory plaque with a scaly, pustular surface on the right eyebrow and upper eyelid, which had persisted for over 1 month. She was once misdiagnosed as having eczema and was treated using corticosteroid cream. A diagnosis of tinea faciei was made based on direct microscopy and culture. The sequencing of the nuclear ribosomal ITS region and β-tubulin gene of the isolate established its T. interdigitale lineage. The patient was cured by treatment with systemic terbinafine in combination with topical application of 1% naftifine-0.25% ketaconazole cream for 2 weeks.

To observe the effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on the activities of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator-1 alpha/uncoupling protein-1 (PGC-1 α/UCP-1) signaling pathway in white adipose tissue(WAT)of diet-induced obesity (DIO) rats, so as to reveal its underlying mechanism in body weight loss.Thirty-four male Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal diet (control,After modeling, the Lee's index, serum TC and TG contents were significantly increased, and the levels of serum HDL-C, and PGC-1 α and UCP-1 immunoactivity in WAT considerably decreased in the model group relevant to the control group (EA can effectively reduce the body weight and adipose content in obesity rats, which may be closely related to its effect in up-regulating PGC-1 α/UCP-1 signaling in WAT, suggesting an efficacy of EA in promoting the browning of WAT.

Carbon/carbon–copper(C/C-Cu) composites were fabricated by pressure-less infiltration of Cu into carbon/carbon (C/C) preforms modified with Mo2C interlayer by a molten salt method. Cu filled the pores inside the Mo2C-modified preforms fully, and retained an interconnected net-like distribution in the C/C-Cu composites. The electrical resistivity and flexural strength increased, whereas impact toughness decreased with the increase of preform density. Fiber pull-out and crack propagation along the interface contributed to the pseudo-plastic behavior of the composites. The tribological performance was improved with the increase of preform density due to the better lubrication of transfer films.

A carbon/carbon–ZrC(C/C–ZrC) composite was fabricated by reactive infiltration of a Zr–40 wt% Cu powder mixture. The C/C–ZrC composite was composed of C, ZrC, and residual Cu. Continuous ZrC layers around the pyrolytic carbon and isolated ZrC particles dispersed in Cu were detected. Linear ablation rate of the composite increased with the increase of ablation time. Ablation surface of the composite was mainly composed of monoclinic ZrO2, while the quantity of Cu and Cu2O decreased with the increase of ablation time. The better ablation resistance of the C/C–ZrC composite was mainly attributed to the protective ZrO2 layer and the cooling effect of Cu.

This paper puts forward structure and realization method of the voltage-controlled band-pass filter based on the current feedback operational amplifier (CFA) which uses bi-quad loop filter circuit model to design the new filter circuit. Input voltage signal is input to voltage-controlled band-pass filter circuit composed by an analog multiplier AD835 and a current feedback operational amplifier AD8001 which are the core. Using the voltage signal to adjust the center frequency of the filter, the filter has wide frequency band and good high-frequency performance. This paper describes the design principles, infers the design formulas and designs the circuit of the voltage-controlled first-order and second-order band-pass filter.Through the simulation, the filter can realize the scope of the center frequency from 200KHz to 10MHz.

In this paper, the periodic behavior of iced cable in the case of the in-plane fundamental parametric resonance-principal resonance, out-of-plane principal parametric resonance-principal resonance, and in 1:2 internal resonances is investigated. The sufficient condition for the existence of the periodic solutions about the system is obtained through using Melnikov function and Poincare mapping, then the stability of periodic solution is investigated by using blow-up transformations and the average method. Numerical simulations are performed to verify the analytical predictions and get three groups of diagrams.
