Aim of the study This report aimed to assess the nonpainfull and currative effect of the electropuncture technique complemented by massage and active proprioceptive postural kinetotherapy of causal occlusion-posture imbalances accompanied by acute or chronic pain. This research provide an insight into the report of evidence available for the analgesic, uses of TENS in pathologies of the stomatognathic apparatus that induce postural defects. Malocclusion correction correlated with postural rehabilitation with non-invasive and non-drug methods, without adverse effects, including electropuncture (TENS) applied in conjunction with proprioceptive kinetotherapy techniques, massage and psychotherapy is the path to the success of occlusion-postural rehabilitation with significant results both on painful suffering and on the correction of malocclusions and global postural imbalances. Material and methods The forty-for patients ranged in age from 20 to 50 years, came to the rehabilitation center accusing important pain and functional impotence at various levels: temporo-mandibular, occlusal, postural, sole etc. Patients received clinical consultation, occlusal, postural and plantar evaluation, occluzal, postural and plantar analysis with the posturograph device receiving diagnostics of malocclusion overlapped with postural imbalances like kyphosis, scoliosis, genu varum, genu valgum, flat foot or claw foot and even psychotherapy. Group P1 received only orthodontic dental treatment to correct the occlusion. Group P2 received in addition to orthodontic treatment to correct the occlusion the complete non-invasive postural rehabilitation treatment including transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation (TENS), massage, proprioceptive kinetoterapy and psychotherapy. Results La finalul tratamentului aplicat complet, holistic si tenace, am constat rezultate notabile relevate la Group P2 (who benefited from electroneurostimulation therapy and psychotherapy in addition to kinetotherapy and massage) fata de Group P1 (who only benefit from the stomatologically approach) prin atenuarea semnificativa si chiar eradicarea durerii resimtite la nivelul articulatiei temporo-mandibulare, a zonei cervicale, toracale si lombare, reducerea dezechilibrelor de curbura si posturale ale coloanei vertebrale, corectarea dezechilibrelor de arcurire la nivelul talpilor, dupa caz. In plus, we obtained physiological mobility angles of the temporomandibular joint, muscle relaxation on paravertebral and abdominal hypertonic areas, muscle toning on hypotonic areas, efficient, operational muscle strength, so that the muscles are able to support physiologically correct posture, physiological posture at the umeral, pelvis, knee level as well as plantar flatfoot rehabilitation, patients finally approaching a plantar arch at the limit of physiological values. Conclusions The multidisciplinary collaboration regarding both diagnosis and treatment has an effect and proves its effectiveness in the context of the existence of occlusal and global postural imbalances. The increased incidence and prevalence of global postural imbalances induced by daily static professional, family, recreational activities requires opting for holistic and multidisciplinary integrative treatments.

Introduction: This comprehensive study explores the multifaceted landscape of emergency dental care amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, delving into the integration of tele-dentistry, advancements in point-of-care testing, optimization of aerosol-reducing techniques, enhancements in personal protective equipment (PPE), and the pivotal role of public health preparedness and education. Materials and Methods: Through a meticulous review of existing literature and analysis of pertinent studies, this study elucidates the transformative impact of these innovations on emergency dental care provision. Results: Tele-dentistry has emerged as a valuable tool for remote assessment, initial guidance, and triaging of cases, while advancements in point-of-care testing facilitate rapid and accurate diagnosis of COVID-19 infection in dental settings. Moreover, optimization of aerosol-reducing techniques and advancements in PPE design contribute to minimizing viral transmission risks during emergency procedures. Furthermore, this study underscores the importance of robust public health preparedness and education in fostering a proactive approach to dental emergencies and instilling confidence in patients to seek timely care. Collaborative efforts among dental professionals, researchers, and public health authorities are essential in navigating the complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic and fortifying preparedness for future crises. Conclusion: This study advocates for the continued integration of innovative solutions and adaptive strategies in emergency dental care, guided by a commitment to patient safety, evidence-based practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration. By embracing these advancements, the dental community can navigate the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and emerge stronger, more resilient, and better equipped to ensure the oral health and well-being of individuals for generations to come.

Background: Estimates reveal that about 1 in 15,000 patients suffer from pain impulses from trigeminal neuralgia. Annually there are 5-6 new cases registered per 100,000 inhab-itants, with an increased frequency in women with a ratio of 3/2:W/M. It is revealed that the first manifestations appear at the ages between 40 and 60, but in recent decades cases have appeared at younger ages, starting even with 21. Given the high intensity of pain in the trigeminal pathology, significantly disabling pain for long periods of time, effective noninvasive approaches are required to reduce pain, reduce the frequency of exac-erbations and bring patients to a functioning state as close as possible to the physiological limit. Material and method: A low frequency pulsatile magnetic field is a non-pharmacological and non-invasive method which is widely used in a multitude of medi-cal conditions by medical and paramedical professionals for the management of chronic or acute pain. This original research aims to provide an insight view into the review of evi-dence available for the analgesic non-invasive therapy uses of the pulsed magnetic field. The before and after examinations the therapy have included a general assessment of the functional status, an assessment of pain severity. Result: With this study we hope to demonstrate the increased efficiency of the non-invasive rehabilitation methods with ap-plication in trigeminal neuralgia pathology that qualitatively affects the daily life of the pa-tients experiencing trigeminal neuralgia. Conclusion: Non-invasive rehabilitation in trigem-inal neuralgia registers remarkable results, similar to drug approaches, the major benefit being the absence of adverse effects both during treatment and late, in the long term. It in-creases the quality of life of patients, the frequency of relapses and the intensity of the pain-ful stimulus from the first treatment sessions.

The global postural imbalances relationship is frequently encountered in recent medical practice, requiring multidisciplinary approaches to bring patients to function as close as possible according to the physiological limit. About half of the world’s population experi-ences pain and dysfunction induced by postural imbalances during their lifetime. This re-port aimed to assess the nonpainfull and currative effect of the electropuncture technique complemented by massage and active postural kinetotherapy of global posture imbalances and acute or chronical pain at various levels. This research provide an insight into the re-port of evidence available for the analgesic uses of TENS in postural defects. Correlations regarding imbalances at various levels was found in various studies regarding analyze or diagnosis, without addressing the non-invasive multidisciplinary treatment. In these stud-ies, we are hoping to raise the non-invasive reabilitation treatment and increase their use in pathologies with involves global postural imbalances. The discomfort and pain experi-enced by people with generalized postural disorder on a daily basis can have a negative impact on quality of life and, if left untreated, can lead to significant worsening of the con-dition over time. Global rehabilitation with non-invasive and non-pharmacological meth-ods, without adverse effects, including electropuncture (TENS) applied to the refferal points in conjunction with proprioceptive kinetotherapy techniques, massage and psycho-therapy is the path to the success of occlusion-postural rehabilitation with significant re-sults on painful suffering global postural imbalances.

The prison environment is an additional risk factor in non-lethal autoagression increased frequency among convicts compared with the general population. This paper aims to define the socio -demographic characteristics of convicts who have completed the act by chemical means (poisoning with drug and other toxic substances) - regarded as substance abuse, compared with prisoners who have chosen to produce through physical means (plagues at various levels and / or ingestion of objects). In the period 1 January 2009 - 31 December 2009 were registered in UPU Sf. Ioan Emergency Hospital of Iasi, 771 patients with autolytic acts, of which 175 came from the Maximum Security Penitentiary Iaşi. For all patients were recorded the following variables: sex, age, date of presentation (month and day of the week) , the hour of the event, the number of previous autolytic attempts, psychiatric disorders, the method chosen, if the treatment has been accepted or declined and if required hospitalization or not. Data were processed with SPSS 10.0 for Windows. It was found that patients who used mechanical means had significantly higher mean age, had a relapse more frequently, had the maximum of records in May and February and on Monday as day of the week. The autoagression through substance abuse was carried out by younger patients, who had in rare cases a relapse episode, the act has occurred most often in May and September and on Saturday. Regardless of the means used most of these acts occurred in the morning when staff supervision is the largest. Taking into account the fact that many patients refuse treatment follows the hypothesis that many of such acts are demonstrative.
