Zinc is an essential trace element for fish, which plays an important role in maintaining the normal growth, development and nutrient metabolism of fish. Both zinc deficiency and excess in feed have a negative effect on the growth, development and nutrient metabolism of aquatic animals. Therefore, the paper summarizes the metabolic process of zinc in fish, the current molecular mechanism of zinc regulating fat metabolism in fish, and prospects the research direction of zinc in fish feed and nutritional metabolism, aiming to provide a reference for strengthening the development of new feed such as amino acid chelation of zinc and the exploration of the molecular mechanism of promoting nutritional metabolism in fish.
