The study acknowledges the web-based applications in maintaining the high-quality scientific and technical journal articles (STJA) every year that contributed to progressing the World's income per capita through providing solutions to the economic issues. The study collected the quarterly aggregated world data for 2000Q1 to 2020Q4 to analyze the IMPACT (Interactive, Mechanical, Powerful, Applicable, Controllable, and Technical) of STJA and research and development (R&D) expenditures on the World's income. The autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) estimates show that the STJA and web-based IMPACT positively impact the World's per capita income in the short and long run. The one-to-one corresponding relationship found between the web IMPACT and the World's income in the short and long run. On the other hand, a 1% increase in the STJA brings a positive change of 0.937% (p<0.000) and 0.994% (p<0.000) on the World's income in the short and long run. The negative relationship found between R&D spending and World's income in the short run; however, this result evaporates in the long run. The innovation accounting matrix (IAM) estimates suggested that STJA and web-based IMPACT will likely increase the World's income for the next 10 years. The study concludes that web-based applications and their IMPACT positively contributed to an increase in the World's income, which confirmed the viability of web engineering in handling economic affairs and policy formulations. Advancements in modern technology have led to an endless reliance on the Internet. This has created a great demand for the fast and accurate development of web applications. Web development has benefitted from programming approaches such as Model-Driven Web Engineering (MDWE). MDWE allows developers to choose pre-defined models and utilize them for their requirements. This kind of structural blueprinting, called wireframing, enables efficiency in software development. However, these techniques are seldom understood by people without a technological background. Hence, much of the coding central to a project remains the responsibility of a few tech-educated people. This work proposes an approach that offloads some of the typing to a machine-based code generator. This has been achieved by pairing MDWE methods with Deep Learning capabilities. This ensures a less coding-intensive web development methodology that can be utilized even by non-web developers. This work makes several contributions to improving overall MDWE methods. The use of prototypes in requirements engineering has widely known benefits since they actively involve the stakeholders in the development process. Web Augmentation techniques make it possible to build prototypes relying on existing web applications. Thus, high fidelity mockups can be quickly generated. One of the most critical activities is dividing requirements into tasks and managing them through the development process. This paper proposes an approach that includes high fidelity mockups into the Task-oriented Development approach. The proposed approach consists of the following steps: (i) end-users specifies requirements, (ii) a product owner verifies and prioritizes the requirements, (iii) tasks are defined and included in a kanban board, (iv) developers should provide the functionality, and (v) the product owner should approved the functionality. The main contribution of this approach is to integrate the requirements specified through web augmentation mockups, into the development environment via a task-oriented development approach. Thus, developers will have a rich context that facilitates the understanding of the requirements. At the same time, the management of the development process will have benefits because of the traceability between tasks and requirements. The quality of knowledge is the most important task of the learning system at any level and stage of education. The COVID-19 pandemic has made its own adjustments to the process of organizing education, requiring the transition from traditional to distance learning as soon as possible. In the new conditions, the use of adaptive knowledge control has become relevant, taking into account the individual level of knowledge of the trainees. The study is devoted to the analysis of the features of adaptive testing, the conditions of application and the possibilities of web technologies for its organization. The article presents the results of a study aimed at organizing and conducting adaptive knowledge control as one of the means of implementing an individual learning trajectory. The study presents algorithms for constructing an individual trajectory of adaptive testing for each user. The analysis of web technologies and learning management systems that are currently used in terms of their capabilities for the implementation of the adaptive learning module is carried out. An adaptive testing module has been developed for implementation into the LMS Moodle learning management system, built taking into account the modular organization of the system. The construction of the module is based on a Markov random process with discrete states, continuous and discrete time, which makes it possible to implement a condition for completing testing with the function of viewing detailed statistics of its passage. The problem of developing and implementing an adaptive testing module in an online learning system is considered. The results of experimental work confirming the effectiveness of the implementation of the adaptive testing module are presented. The study of technology by future teachers and its application in practice will contribute to an increasingly widespread implementation in practical activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Kelurahan Banjar Negeri merupakan kelurahan yang terletak di Kecamatan Natar Kabupeten Lampung Selatan dengan memiliki jumlah penduduk sebanyak 3925 jiwa dari 8 dusun. Proses permohonan surat yang dilakukan masyarakat harus datang ke kantor dengan memberikan berkas sayarat permohonan dan maskud permohonan, kemudian akan di setujui oleh petugas dan dibuatkan surat serta divalidasi oleh kepala desa. Informasi data penduduk dan permohonan dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi spreadsheet sebagai rekapitulasi data penduduk dan aplikasi word processing untuk mencetak laporan, media tersebut dalam jangka waktu semakin kedepan dirasa kurang fleksibel seperti pencarian data penduduk ketika terdapat perubahan data identitas dan informasi kependudukan yang tidak dapat diakses secara online. Hasil dari pengujian terhadap usability telah diperoleh nilai 92% sehingga dapat disimpulkan sistem sangat disetujui oleh pengguna. Pengujian fungsional suitability menghasilkan nilai sebersar 95,33% dengan kesimpulan diterima secara kelayakan fungsi oleh pengguna, terakhir adalah performance effeciency dihasilkan nilai kemampuan yaitu B dengan waktu respon 0.34 detik.

Web applications dominate all aspects of our lives and hence their systematic development has become an absolute necessity. Though a multitude of web engineering approaches is available, the focus is mainly on their presentation and implementation. The requirements and design phases for web application development are often overlooked. This paper presents an automated Web-Application Development (WAD) tool that captures the users' requirements with the Web-specific Goal-Oriented Requirements Language (WebGRL) diagrams and produces an Enhanced Adaptive Object-Oriented Hypermedia (EA-OOH) design model. The transformation tool from WebGRL to EA-OOH design model is exclusive to web applications and provides a Unified Modelling Language (UML) Compliant UML Profile, for an easy adaption from a platform-independent model to a platform-specific model that facilitates the implementation. In the context of a proliferation of Database Management Systems (DBMSs), we have envisioned and produced an OWL 2 ontology able to provide a high-level machine-processable description of the DBMSs domain. This conceptualization aims to facilitate a proper execution of various software engineering processes and database-focused administration tasks. Also, it can be used to improve the decision-making process for determining/selecting the appropriate DBMS, subject to specific requirements. The proposed model describes the most important features and aspects regarding the DBMS domain, including the support for various paradigms (relational, graph-based, key-value, tree-like, etc.), query languages, platforms (servers), plus running environments (desktop, Web, cloud), specific contexts—i.e., focusing on optimizing queries, redundancy, security, performance, schema vs. schema-less approaches, programming languages/paradigms, and others. The process of populating the ontology with significant individuals (actual DBMSs) benefits from the existing knowledge exposed by free and open machine-processable knowledge bases, by using structured data from Wikipedia and related sources. The pragmatic use of our ontology is demonstrated by two educational software solutions based on current practices in Web application development, proving support for learning and experimenting key features of the actual semantic Web technologies and tools. Information on population data is quite important information for stakeholders. Information on population data is often used in various ways such as aiding, or government activities related to population data. The information that is often needed is related to the actual existence of the population in order to conduct a census or other social interests. For this reason, in this study the development of a population mapping information system in Tugumulyo sub-district was made as an effort to provide information to the public regarding population data. In the process of developing information systems, web engineering development methods are used. Web engineering method is a method used to develop a web-based information system. The results of the development in the form of a population distribution information system with the main features of population data information are presented in the form of tables, graphics and maps. In addition, the information displayed can be seen based on the sub-district and also the village or village in the sub-district

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kota Pagar Alam is a competency oriented madra-sah that is forward-looking in building nation, one of them is by utilizing information technology. Currently the utilization of information technology continues to be pursued, such as means of dissemination of information. But now the dissemination of information is still limited, because it takes a technology that is able to overcome the problem. One of the global information dissemination technology is website that can be built by using web engineering system and modeling method using UML (Unified Modeling Language) such as use case diagram, class diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram. In addition to preparing the implementation of this Information System, the author uses the PHP programming language and MySQL database.

In this article, we present a platform that allows the creation of a comprehensive representation of the user that we call a holistic user model (HUM). Such a representation is based on the intuition that users' personal data take different forms and come from several heterogeneous sources. Accordingly, we designed a pipeline that: (1) extracts personal data from three examples of important classes of such sources, namely social networks, wearable devices and smartphones; (2) processes these data through natural language processing and machine learning techniques; (3) stores the output of such processing in a user model that encodes different aspects of people's life, such as demographic data, interests, affect values, social relations, activities and physical states. The resulting representation is made available to the user and to external developers. In the first case, a web interface allows the user to browse through her own personal data and to consult different facets of her HUM, in order to improve her self-awareness. In the latter, holistic user profiles are exposed through a REST interface and can be exploited by third-party applications to provide personalized services based on HUMs. In the experimental session, we evaluated usability and acceptability of the HUM in a user study which investigated how people were willing to use it. The results confirmed the effectiveness of our design choices and built the foundations for future usage of these profiles in personalized applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Web applications typically interact with databases. Therefore, it is very crucial to understand which web components access which database resources when maintaining web apps. Existing research identifies interactions between Java web components, such as JavaServer Pages and servlets but does not extract dependencies between the web components and database resources, such as tables and attributes. This paper proposes a dynamic analysis of Java web apps, which extracts such dependencies from a Java web app and represents them as a graph. The key responsibility of our analysis method is to identify when web components access database resources. To fulfill this responsibility, our method dynamically observes the database-related objects provided in the Java standard library using the proxy pattern, which can be applied to control access to a desired object. The validation of any new methodological proposal demands several real-life implementations. However, organizations are reluctant to invest without the firm guarantee that they will be returned the entire expended amount of money. For this purpose, expert judgment techniques are very useful to provide a less-costly initial validation that, when positive, may encourage organizations to use these new proposals. Therefore, the primary goal of the paper will be to assess how expert judgment techniques based on the Delphi method can be applied to Web Engineering field and, more in particular, to assess the validity of the NDT-Agile framework. NDT-Agile is a framework that combines Agile and Web Engineering techniques to meet Capability Maturity Model Integration development goals. The paper presents a real example of an application of a Delphi-based expert judgment method to assess NDT-Agile framework validity, explaining the design as well as the selection and usage of the different techniques it involves. The application of the method will allow assessing benefits and limitations of use in Web Engineering. As a main conclusion, we will state the utility of the proposed methods to obtain a low-resource initial validation of a certain proposal.
