As a unique phenomenon in China's dualistic urban-rural system, the renewal of urban villages, along with the continuous advancement of urbanization, has attracted much attention, because it involves changes in land ownership, compensation for house demolition and relocation, environmental construction, and social security, among other aspects. Resident satisfaction in urban villages is directly related to the issues of policy strengths and weaknesses, resident happiness, and social fairness, and has been widely researched in academia. However, few studies have explored the influence mechanism of satisfaction in urban village renewal from the perspective of reference dependence and have neglected to compare the differences in the levels of different proximity reference points and livelihood capitals. From the perspective of reference dependence, this study analyzes the influence of different proximity reference points on the satisfaction with urban village renewal based on the theory of differential order patterns and tests the moderating effect of livelihood capital on this mechanism. Based on 413 valid samples from two typical urban village renewal areas in Wuhan, this study explored the mechanisms of reference dependence, livelihood capital, and satisfaction with urban village renewal and reconstruction in megacity urban villages using an ordered logistic regression model, a moderating effect model, and other methods. The study found that: 1) reference dependence positively and significantly affected the satisfaction of urban village resettlement residents with renewal and reconstruction; 2) the proximity of the object of reference dependence to one's own relationship was positively correlated with the degree of influence; and 3) livelihood capital positively moderated the relationship between reference dependence and satisfaction with renewal and reconstruction. Policy implications: The design of demolition and relocation compensation policy should strengthen the public participation of villagers, formulate reasonable standards for the identification of legal property rights of housing, and take into account efficiency and fairness by adapting to the local conditions. Efforts should be made to eliminate the influence of the differences in livelihood capital, and improve the cultural quality and skills of resettled villagers through training to reduce the "cultural lag" brought about by the change of identity. Monitoring groups should be set up to oversee the implementation of urban village renewal. This study helps to further elucidate the influence mechanism of satisfaction with urban village renewal and enriches the theoretical application of reference dependence theory in the field of behavioral economics. The findings provide practical experience for reducing social conflicts and public opinion impacts and provides a reference for megacities to actively and steadily implement urban village renewal, thereby improving people's livelihoods, expanding domestic demand, and promoting high-quality urban development.

Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by depigmentation of the skin, significantly impacting patients' quality of life. Recent advances in immunological and molecular biological studies have identified numerous potential therapeutic targets for vitiligo, paving the way for novel treatment strategies. This article reviews the advancements in researching novel immunotherapy targets such as the JAK/ STAT pathway, PDE-4, Wnt/β-catenin pathway, and IL-15, along with their respective targeted drugs. The article aims to provide insights into the clinical translation of future therapeutic targets for vitiligo.

The rapid development of miniaturization and refinement of modern electronic components has led to higher requirements for nanosized powders. The barium strontium titanate (Ba1-xSrxTiO3, BST) nanopowders with fine grains, uniform particle size and high purity have broad application prospects. Herein, BST nanopowders were synthesized via nonhydrolytic sol-gel method and the effects of different processing parameters on structure were investigated systematically by using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, laser particle size analyser and thermogravimetric mass spectrometry. In the first step, different dispersants, dispersant concentration and calcination temperature were selected for synthesis of Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 powder to find optimal conditions. In the second step, these optimal conditions were used to synthesize BST powders, but different (Ba+Sr)/Ti and Ba/Sr molar ratios were used to find those that can enable preparation of single phase cubic perovskite powder. Therefore, this study showed how the processing parameters can be systematically tuned with the idea to obtain ultra-fine single phase BST nanoparticles.

The present study aimed to investigate the effect of covalent coupling with the dietary polyphenol rosmarinic acid (RA) on the structure and properties of β-lactoglobulin (β-LG). β-LG-RA complexes were prepared using the free radical and alkaline methods. The structural changes of β-LG after coupling with RA were analyzed by sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy. The antioxidant activity of β-LG and its complexes with RA was assessed using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical and 2,2’-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical cation scavenging methods. Furthermore, their binding capacity to serum-specific immunoglobulin G (IgG) were evaluated using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The results revealed that the secondary structure of β-LG transformed from α-helix to β-sheet and random coil after RA covalent conjugation. The protein underwent changes in its secondary and tertiary structures. Additionally, compared to β-LG, the β-LG-RA covalent conjugates showed significantly enhanced antioxidant activity and reduced binding ability with serum specific IgG. In conclusion, covalent coupling with RA led to a significant improvement in the antioxidant activity of β-LG and a significant decrease in its binding capacity to serum-specific IgG by introducing phenolic hydroxyl groups.

The effect of different solution temperatures (1140, 1160 ℃ and 1180 ℃) and cooling conditions (AC, FC-900 ℃+AC, FC) on the microstructures and mechanical properties of K439B alloy were investigated using metallographic microscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The results show that the optical microstructures and morphology of γ' precipitates are similar and the width of grain boundary slightly increases after increasing the solution temperature. When cooled with AC, γ' precipitates are uniformly distributed and the average size is 50.7 nm; when cooled with FC-900 ℃+AC, the larger γ' precipitates of 250-510 nm are precipitated at the interdendritic area region and near the grain boundary, exhibiting a bimodal γ' microstructure; when cooled with FC, the volume fraction of larger γ' precipitates increases and the content of granular M23C6 carbides at grain boundary improves. The stress rupture life of K439B alloy at 815 ℃/379 MPa is enhanced after reducing the cooling rate, while different solution parameters have little effect on the room-temperature tensile property.

Novel tungstate SrLa6-xW10O40: xEu3+ (x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.09, 0.12, 0.15, 0.18, 0.21) red phosphors were prepared by solid state method at 1150 °C by using SrCO3, La2O3, WO3 and Eu2O3 as raw materials. The powders were agglomerated with particles having mostly spheroidal morphology, mean particle size D50 = 12.8 μm and narrow particle size distribution. With the increase of doping amount x, there is no significant difference in the diffraction peak position of the phosphor, but the cell volume of SrLa6W10O40 slowly decreases. The relative strength of diffraction peaks decreases gradually and the half-peak width widens gradually, indicating that the inclusion of Eu3+ ions affects the crystallization of the SrLa6W10O40 matrix. Excitation and emission spectra of the prepared samples were obtained. The optimal doping content has the SrLa5.85W10O4: 0.15Eu3+ phosphor and is characterised with the colour coordinate of (0.652, 0.348), which is closer to the red standard colour (0.67, 0.33) than the near-ultraviolet red phosphor Y2O2S: Eu3+ (0.622, 0.351) used for commercial LED.

To ensure the three-level neutral point clamped (NPC) grid-connected inverter in a grid-connected system continuous operation after a single-phase bridge arm short circuit or open circuit failure, an optimal compensation fault-tolerant control strategy with low common-mode voltage is proposed in this paper, which is based on space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM). Firstly, the reference voltage vector synthesis rule is determined by analyzing the common mode voltage corresponding to the switch state of the eight-switch three-phase inverters (ESTPI), which is the topology of the three-level NPC inverter with one phase failure. Then, the mechanism of neutral point potential fluctuation is analyzed by the neutral point current change in a fundamental wave period. Further, the space vector synthesis is compensated based on this mechanism. Finally, the low-pass filter and hysteresis controller are designed to optimize vector synthesis compensation, so as to ensure the quality of grid-connected current and effectively restrain the neutral point potential offset of the DC bus. The simulation results show that the proposed fault-tolerant control strategy can realize the stable and reliable operation of the grid-connected system after single-phase bridge arm failure, and the common-mode voltage can be reduced for one-third of the period time. The quality of grid-connected current is improved significantly. The proposed controller has good control characteristics when the grid-connected current changes.

This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of touch imprint cytology (TIC) for sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastases of patients with clinical node-negative early breast cancer. The PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and the Cochrane Library databases were meticulously searched to retrieve literature published from January 2005 to September 2022 by two independent reviewers. The meta-analysis was performed using STATA16.0, Meta-Disc 1.4, and RevMan 5.4.9. According to the inclusion criteria, 4,073 patients from 13 studies were included in this meta-analysis. The pooled sensitivity and specificity of TIC for detecting SLN metastases were 0.77 (95% CI 0.66–0.85) and 0.99 (95% CI 0.97–1.00), respectively. The pooled positive likelihood ratio and negative likelihood ratio were 76.15 (95% CI 29.16–198.84) and 0.23 (95% CI 0.15–0.36), respectively. The pooled diagnostic odds ratio was 326.82 (95% CI 132.76–804.56) and the area under the sROC curve was 0.97 (95% CI 0.95–0.98), respectively. This meta-analysis revealed that TIC with high sensitivity and specificity is a feasibility and accuracy diagnosis technique for intraoperative detection of SLN metastases in breast cancer.

The use of smart contract technology for contract execution and real-time payment can ensure the timely availability of funds, thus ensuring the security and authenticity of data in power grid transactions. In this paper, we design a digital RMB smart contract model based on blockchain technology and use the hexadecimal model to create, deploy, and execute smart contract functions. And through the DTSC algorithm, smart contracts can be applied to the grid smart payment settlement. At the same time, a privacy protection algorithm for transaction data is proposed, and finally, the grid smart payment settlement system is designed based on smart contracts and privacy protection algorithms. Simulation test results show that the cost required for the digital RMB smart contract proposed in this paper is lower than the existing schemes in terms of invocation and deployment costs. The average chain code invocation delay in smart contract technology decreases when the transaction sending rate increases from 250TPS to 300TPS. Moreover, the on-chain operation time of this system is only 2.69 seconds, which meets the demand of practical power grid smart payment settlement applications. This paper sets the foundation for the efficient operation of the grid smart payment and settlement system and provides a guarantee for payment and settlement security.

Abstract To provide a basis for further optimization of the polio sequential immunization schedule, this study evaluated the effectiveness of booster immunization with one dose of bivalent oral poliovirus vaccine (bOPV) at 48 months of age after different primary polio immunization schedules. At 48 months of age, one dose of bOPV was administered, and their poliovirus types 1–3 (PV1, PV2, and PV3, respectively)-specific neutralizing antibody levels were determined. Participants found to be negative for any type of PV-specific neutralizing antibody at 24, 36, or 48 months of age were re-vaccinated with inactivated polio vaccine (IPV). The 439 subjects who received a bOPV booster immunization at the age of 48 months had lower PV2-specific antibody levels compared with those who received IPV. One dose of IPV during basic polio immunization induced the lowest PV2-specific antibody levels. On the basis of our findings, to ensure that no less than 70% of the vaccinated have protection efficiency, we recommend the following: if basic immunization was conducted with 1IPV + 2bOPV (especially Sabin strain-based IPV), a booster immunization with IPV is recommended at 36 months of age, whereas if basic immunization was conducted with 2IPV + 1bOPV, a booster immunization with IPV is recommended at 48 months of age. A sequential immunization schedule of 2IPV + 1bOPV + 1IPV can not only maintain high levels of antibody against PV1 and PV3 but also increases immunity to PV2 and induces early intestinal mucosal immunity, with relatively good safety. Thus, this may be the best sequential immunization schedule for polio in countries or regions at high risk for polio.

Iron metabolism is considered to play the principal role in sepsis, but the key iron metabolism-related genetic signatures are unclear. In this study, we analyzed and identified the genetic signatures related to the iron-metabolism in sepsis by using a bioinformatics analysis of four transcriptomic datasets from the GEO database. A total of 21 differentially expressed iron metabolism-related signatures were identified including 9 transporters, 8 enzymes, and 4 regulatory factors. Among them, lipocalin 2 was found to have the highest diagnostic value as its expression showed significant differences in all the comparisons including sepsis vs healthy controls, sepsis vs non-sepsis diseases, and mild forms vs severe forms of sepsis. Besides, the cytochrome P450 gene CYP1B1 also showed diagnostic values for sepsis from the non-sepsis diseases. The CYP4V2, LTF, and GCLM showed diagnostic values for distinguishing the severe forms from mild forms of sepsis. Our analysis identified 21 sepsis-associated iron metabolism-related genetic signatures, which may represent diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers of sepsis, and will improve our understanding of the molecular mechanism underlying the occurrence of sepsis.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of liver injury in patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSDs) after intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP). Methods A total of 195 patients with NMOSDs who received IVMP in Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2017 to December 2021 were enrolled. The causal relationship between IVMP and liver injury was evaluated according to Roussel Uclaf Causality Assessment Method (RUCAM). Univariate and multivariate stepwise Logistic regression analysis were used to screen the risk factors of IVMP related liver injury. Results Within 14 d after IVMP therapy, 32.31% (63/195) patients developed liver injury [serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT)＞40 U/L, RUCAM score≥3]. Severe injury (ALT＞120 U/L) accounted for 15.87% (10/63) and mild injury 84.13% (53/63). Logistic regression analysis showed age≥50 years old (OR=0.969, 95%CI: 0.945-0.993; P=0.011), previous use of immunosuppressants (OR=3.543, 95%CI: 1.579-7.949; P=0.002) and history of IVMP related liver injury (OR=17.043, 95%CI: 3.400-85.423; P=0.000) were the main risk factors for IVMP related liver injury. Conclusions The main IVMP related liver injury is mild injury. NMOSDs patients aged≥50 years old, previous use of immunosuppressants and history of IVMP related liver injury are more prone to liver injury when treated with IVMP again.

Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a common malignancy with poor prognosis and high mortality. This study aimed to explore the oncogenic mechanisms of TRAF5 in HCC and provide a novel therapeutic strategy for HCC. Methods Human HCC cell lines (HepG2, HuH7, SMMC-LM3, and Hep3B), normal adult liver epithelial cells (THLE-2), and human embryonic kidney cells (HEK293T) were utilized. Cell transfection was performed for functional investigation. qRT-PCR and western blotting were used to detect mRNA expression of TRAF5, LTBR, and NF-κB and protein expression of TRAF5, p-RIP1(S166)/RIP1, p-MLKL(S345)/MLKL, LTBR, and p-NF-κB/NF-κB. Cell viability, proliferation, migration, and invasion were evaluated using CCK-8, colony formation, wound healing, and Transwell assays. Cell survival, necrosis, and apoptosis were assessed using flow cytometry and Hoechst 33342/PI double staining. Co-immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence were performed to determine the interaction between TRAF5 and LTBR. A xenograft model was established to validate the role of TRAF5 in HCC. Results TRAF5 knockdown inhibited HCC cell viability, colony formation, migration, invasion, and survival but enhanced necroptosis. Additionally, TRAF5 is correlated with LTBR and TRAF5 silencing down-regulated LTBR in HCC cells. LTBR knockdown inhibited HCC cell viability, while LTBR overexpression eliminated the effects of TRAF5 deficiency on inhibiting HCC cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and survival. LTBR overexpression abolished the promotive function of TRAF5 knockdown on cell necroptosis. LTBR overexpression undid the suppressive effect of TRAF5 knockdown on NF-κB signaling in HCC cells. Moreover, TRAF5 knockdown suppressed xenograft tumor growth, inhibited cell proliferation, and promoted tumor cell apoptosis. Conclusions TRAF5 deficiency facilitates necroptosis in HCC by suppressing LTBR-mediated NF-κB signaling.

In order to improve the efficiency of noble metal Pt as an efficient photocatalytic co-catalyst for hydrogen production, Pt/g-C3N4 nanocomposite photocatalysts was prepared by using high-temperature assisted thermal exfoliation as well as hydrogen reduction. This realized the in situ thermally assisted loading of monodisperse Pt nanoclusters on ultrathin g-C3N4 nanosheets, enhancing the interaction between g-C3N4 and Pt, and increasing the proportion of Pt0 in the Pt nanoclusters; the small amount of coexisting Pt of Pt2+ contributes to the inhibition of hydrogen production inverse reactions. In addition, the produced Pt/g-C3N4 nanocomposite photocatalyst has a wide visible light response range as well as an efficient photogenerated charge separation efficiency. The photocatalytic test shows that the composite photocatalyst not only has excellent photocatalytic performance for hydrogen production, but also highly improves the utilisation of the precious metal Pt, and therefore has potential practical application in solar energy conversion and utilisation.

BACKGROUND Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a series of carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic hydrocarbons with high octanol-water partition coefficients, which are easily adsorbed by soil particles and affect the environment and human health. Sodium persulfate (Na2S2O8) oxidation method to remediate PAHs in organic contaminated soil is a more commonly used method in recent years both domestically and internationally. However, at the present stage, the urgent problem to be solved in measuring the content of PAHs in the remediation soil and evaluating the effect of soil remediation is that if sodium persulfate remains in the soil, the oxidation reaction of PAHs may be further accelerated due to the high extraction temperature in the sample pretreatment process. OBJECTIVES To develop an accurate method to determine PAHs in soil after remediation. METHODS The effects of no reductant and pre-added reductant-Soxhlet extraction on the recoveries of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and 6 substitutes in soil after remediation were investigated using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). RESULTS The results showed that the method of pre-added reductant (Vitamin C) was better than no reductant. The PAHs recoveries of pre-added reductant and no reductant were 76.2%-110.0% and 6.0%-72.4%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The comparative analysis showed that adding reducing agent before sample extraction could effectively eliminate the influence of residual sodium persulfate and improve the accuracy of PAHs determination results in soil after remediation. This study provides a new method for the accurate determination of PAHs in soil after remediation.

The establishment of failure risk assessment on the secondary system in smart substation can help power gird company timely arrange maintenance when the failure risk of equipment accumulates to a certain extent,thus effectively preventing systematic failure. In this paper,a probabilistic failure model is established through Weibull probability distribution function from a perspective of reliability engineering. According to the type tests and various daily operation statistics of secondary equipment,the regression equation calculated by the average rank method and least square estimation can obtain the model parameter estimation. By doing so,the equipment failure model close to the real operation condition can be obtained. Moreover,the relationship between the failures of the secondary system and a single equipment is established through the fault tree. Therefore,the risk probability distribution function of top event in secondary system can be calculated quantitatively,which can provide auxiliary decision for risk warning and state overhaul. Finally,it is verified by the numerical results that the proposed secondary equipment failure model can provide a reference for accurate time arrangement for system maintenance.

Adenosine is a vital biological small molecule that regulates various physiological processes in the human body. A high expression of adenosine in cells can facilitate tumor growth. Therefore, detecting adenosine is crucial for early disease diagnosis. In this paper, we designed a fluorescent biosensor for the sensitive detection of adenosine based on the cationic comb-type copolymer PLL-g-Dex for assisted rapid hybridization of nucleic acids at room temperature. In this strategy, adenosine preferentially binds to the aptamer immobilized on the surface of magnetic nanobeads, releasing free aDNA in solution as the primer strand, which rapidly forms DNA nanowires with auxiliary probes of bDNA with the assistance of PLL-g-Dex. SYBR Green I is embedded in DNA duplexes to generate strong fluorescence. The experimental results showed that PLL-g-Dex promotes DNA hybridization reactions at room temperature to form ultra-long DNA nanowires, thus achieving signal amplification and shortening the detection time. In addition, magnetic nanobeads can reduce the background signal during the reaction. Compared with several previous studies on the fluorescence detection of adenosine, this strategy has a lower detection limit of 2.32 nM. Furthermore, this novel system exhibited a good detection performance even under complex environments, such as serum, providing some reference for the quantitative detection of adenosine in early disease diagnosis.

At present, a large number of studies have demonstrated that miRNAs can be used as biological indicators for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as tumours and cancer, so it is important to develop a new miRNA detection platform. In this work, miRNA-122 is used as the basis for targeting detection agents. We have designed an unlabelled DNA1 that undergoes partial hybridisation and has a 20 T base long strand. The fluorescent signal in this experiment is derived from copper nanoclusters (CuNCs) generated on the circular T-long strand of DNA1. At the same time, DNA1 is able to react with miRNA-122 and achieve hydrolysis of the part bound to miRNA-122 via the action of nucleic acid exonuclease III (Exo III), leaving a part of the DNA, called DNA3, while releasing miRNA-122 to participate in the next reaction, thus achieving circular amplification. DNA3 is able to react with DNA2, which is bound to streptavidin magnetic beads (SIBs) and separated from the reaction solution via the application of a magnetic field. Overall, this is a fluorescence signal reduction experiment, and the strength of the fluorescence signal from the copper nanoclusters can determine whether the target miRNA-122 is present or not. The degree of fluorescence reduction indicates how much DNA1, and thus the amount of target miRNA-122, has been hydrolysed. By evaluating the variations in the fluorescence signal under optimised conditions, we discovered that this method has good sensitivity, with a detection limit as low as 0.46 nM, better than many other previous works on fluorescence signal-based biosensors for miRNA detection. This technique offers high discrimination and selectivity and can serve as a persuasive reference for early diagnosis.

Cervical cancer is an important topic in the study of global health issues, ranking fourth among women’s cancer cases in the world. It is one of the nine major cancers that China is focusing on preventing and treating, and it is the only cancer that can be prevented through vaccination. Systematic and effective screening for human papilloma (HPV) infection, which is closely linked to the development of cervical cancer, can reduce cervical cancer incidence and mortality. In this paper, an electrochemical sensor was designed to detect HPV 16 using dual-signal amplification. An APTES-modified glassy carbon electrode was used for improved stability. Gold nanoparticles and a chain amplification reaction were combined for signal amplification. The limit of detection (LOD) of this electrochemical sensor was 1.731 × 10−16 mol/L, and the linear response of the target detector range was from 1.0 × 10−13 mol/L to 1.0 × 10−5 mol/L (R2 = 0.99232). The test of serum sample recovery showed that it has good anti-interference, and the performance of all aspects was improved to different degrees compared with the previous research from the team. The designed sensor is centered around the principles of low cost, high sensitivity and stability, which provides new ideas for the future development of cervical cancer prevention and electrochemical biosensors.

Aiming at the lack of the ability of simple neural networks to capture the contextual semantics of texts and extract important information in texts,a sentiment analysis model FFA-BiAGRU is proposed,which integrates attention mechanism and GRU.First,we pre-process the text and vectorize the words through GloVe to reduce the vector space dimension.Then,through a hybrid model that fuses the attention mechanism with the update gate of the gating unit,it can extract important information in the text features.Finally,the text features are further extracted through the forced forward attention mechanism,and then classified by the softmax classifier.Experiments on public data sets show that the algorithm can effectively improve the sentiment ana-lysis performance.

BACKGROUND Compared with zircon U-Pb dating, monazite has more advantages in the dating of some metamorphic rocks or highly differentiated rocks. However, the U-Th-Pb isotopic dating of monazite has been limited, because of high Th concentration (commonly>7%), many mineral inclusions, and rare dating standard samples. Previous research on LA-ICP-MS U-Th-Pb dating of monazite mainly focused on laser parameters, and lacked attention on ICP-MS conditions. OBJECTIVES To find suitable experimental LA-ICP-MS monazite dating conditions. METHODS Using 193nm ArF excimer laser ablation system and Agilent 7500a inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometer, laser parameters (laser beam spot diameter and laser frequency) and ICP-MS parameters(dwelling time of 232Th) were investigated. The laser beam spot diameter was set to 24μm, 16μm and 10μm, and the laser frequency was set to 3Hz, 4Hz and 5Hz. The dwelling time of 232Th was set to 10ms, 6ms, 3ms and 1ms for U-Th-Pb dating. Finally, the monazite sample RW-1 was used as the standard sample to calibrate the monazite sample Bananeira. RESULTS It was suitable for monazite dating when the beam spot diameter was 16μm, the dwelling time of 232Th was 3ms or 1ms, the energy density was 4J/cm2, the laser frequency was 5Hz, the carrier gas (He) flow rate was 0.35L/min, and the carrier gas (Ar) flow rate was 0.95L/min. Under these conditions, Bananeira's weighted average ages of 207Pb/235U were 510.7±8.6Ma (MSWD=0.87), and 513.8±5.7Ma (MSWD=0.38), which were consistent with the recommended age of 507.7±1.3Ma with respective errors of 0.59% and 1.20%. 208Pb/232Th weighted average ages were 496.9±8.6Ma (MSWD=0.596) and 499.8±5.6Ma (MSWD=0.37), which were consistent with the recommended age of 497.6±1.6Ma, with respective errors of 0.14% and 0.44%. The 207Pb/235U weighted average age of Huangshan sample HS-1 was 128.3±2.4Ma (MSWD=0.73), which were close to the zircon age of 127.0±2.1Ma (MSWD=0.93) in the Huangshan area. CONCLUSIONS The optimal laser and ICP-MS conditions are suitable for monazite U-Th-Pb isotopic age determination.

To explore the synergistic mechanism of polymer and surfactant in the binary combination flooding of low-permeability reservoirs, the adaptability experiment of polymer salt-resistant partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide and nonionic surfactant was carried out in the indoor system. Experiments at different ratios are also performed. The results show that the selected poly/surface binary flooding system increases with the concentration of polymer or surfactant, the viscosity of the poly/surface binary system also increases and, at the same time, has better temperature and salt resistance. The viscosity of the binary system will decrease when the salinity increases. When the surfactant concentration CS = 0.2% and the polymer concentration CP = 0.2%, the viscosity of the system is the highest. The viscosity of the poly/table binary system at different concentrations decreases when the temperature rises: pure polymer (CP = 0.2%), poly/table binary system displacement fluid CP = 0.1% + CS = 0.2% and CP = 0.2% + CS = 0.2%; and the injection pressure first rises and then drops. The final recovery rate is 51.8%, which meets the development of most oil reservoirs.

Acute treatment of young patients with proximal femoral fracture (PFF) remains a challenge for trauma surgeons due to major fracture displacement and heavy pain in clinical practice. Traditional methods have a variety of intrinsic defaults and cannot successfully manage the requirements of young patients. Benefiting from our anatomic research, we explored a new method of external fixation for this specific trauma and evaluated its feasibility and clinical outcomes.

Objective To compare the differences in plasma lipid metabolites between the patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and those with normal coronary artery in order to explore the pathophysiologic mechanism and search for possible new biomarkers of AMI. Methods The patients undergoing coronary angiography in our hospital from September 20, 2019 to January 20, 2020 were enrolled in this study. According to the results, they were divided into myocardial infarction group (AMI group, n=32) and control group (age- and sex-matched with the AMI group, n=32). Non-targeted lipidomics analysis was performed on the blood samples to find the differences of lipid metabolites between the 2 groups. Univariate and multivariate statistical analyses were applied to explore the meaningful differential metabolites, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic efficiency of the selected differential metabolites. Finally, how to disturb metabolic pathways was investigated in the AMI patients. Results ① The orthogonal projection to latent structure discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) and cluster heat map showed that there was a significant trend of separation between AMI group and the control group. Multivariate statistical analysis identified totally 28 differential plasma lipid metabolites, including 16 of them significantly increased and 12 decreased in the AMI group. ②There were 10 lipid metabolites such as diglyceride (DG) and phosphatidyl serine (PS) associated with an increased risk of AMI, while 13 negative predictors, including phosphatidylinositol (PI), phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylserine (PS), lytic phosphatidylcholine (LPC) and triglyceride (TG), were associated with a reduced risk of AMI. ③ROC curve identified 2 possible biomarkers of AMI, namely, PS (27∶0) (AUC=0.976) and DG(16∶0/18∶1) (AUC=0.807); ④The disturbed metabolic pathways included metabolism of glycerol phospholipid, sphingomyelin, purine and pyrimidine in the AMI patients, among which the disorder of glycerophospholipid metabolism was the most signficant. Conclusion The characteristics of lipid metabolism are significantly changed in AMI patients; a total of 28 differential lipid metabolites are identified, among which the disorder of glycerol phospholipid metabolism pathway indicates the most significant. PS and DG may act as the potential biomarkers for the diagnosis of AMI.

Bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) have an important application prospect in the field of cell therapy for various neurodegenerative diseases, and inducing factors that regulate BMSC differentiation are proposed as a promising therapeutic strategy. In this study, we explored the effect of glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) on the course of BMSC differentiation.

Background Social media addiction, a recently emerged term in medical science, has attracted the attention of researchers because of its significant physical and psychological effects on its users. The issue has attracted more attention during the COVID era because negative emotions (e.g., anxiety and fear) generated from the COVID pandemic may have increased social media addiction. Therefore, the present study investigates the role of negative emotions and social media addiction (SMA) on health problems during and after the COVID lockdown. Methods A survey was conducted with 2926 participants aged between 25 and 45 years from all eight divisions of Bangladesh. The data collection period was between 2nd September– 13th October, 2020. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was conducted for data analysis by controlling the respondents’ working time, leisure time, gender, education, and age. Results Our study showed that social media addiction and time spent on social media impact health. Interestingly, while anxiety about COVID increased social media addition, fear about COIVD reduced social media addition. Among all considered factors, long working hours contributed most to people’s health issues, and its impact on social media addiction and hours was much higher than negative emotions. Furthermore, females were less addicted to social media and faced less health challenges than males. Conclusion The impacts of negative emotions generated by the COVID disaster on social media addiction and health issues should be reconsidered. Government and employers control people’s working time, and stress should be a priority to solve people’s social media addiction-related issues.
