ABSTRACT Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) is an emerging cause of hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP). Preclinical large models are warranted to predict the efficacy and the resistance profile of anti-infectives and mimic how they will be used in the human treatment of CRAB-HAP. Here we reported on the development of an Acinetobacter baumannii experimental pneumonia model in immunocompromised rabbits, receiving a 48-h human-simulated regimen. The efficacy of meropenem (2 g/q8h i.v. over prolonged 3-h perfusion), rifampin (25 mg/kg/q8h, i.v.), or the combination of meropenem and rifampin was assessed in rabbits infected with the carbapenem-susceptible ATCC 17978 reference strain or the CRAB Turc 2 clinical strain. The emergence of rifampin mutants was also investigated. Meropenem demonstrated a strong pulmonary bacterial reduction in animals infected with the ATCC 17978 strain (unlike the CRAB strain). The high rifampin dosage was associated with a 1.3 Log10 bacterial killing on average but induced the emergence of high-level resistant mutants in 80%–100% of animals, depending on the strain. The adjunction of rifampin to meropenem did not improve the bioburden in the lungs but partially reduced the number of animals exhibiting resistant mutants, whatever the tested strain. However, this adjunctive treatment was insufficient to overcome the emergence of resistance since mutation prevention concentration-related pharmacodynamic indices were unattainable at this dose. This CRAB pneumonia rabbit model represents an innovative tool to evaluate the efficacy of new or existing therapies and will provide informative data on how they can meet the resistance pharmacodynamic targets, which now need to be investigated before deciding on clinical therapeutic regimens.IMPORTANCEWithin intensive care unit settings, carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) has emerged as a frequent cause of hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) with poor clinical outcomes. This multidrug-resistant pathogen remains very challenging to study in clinical trials, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration highlighted the limitations of existing small animal models for evaluating antibacterial or prophylactic strategies against such critical infections. These limitations include the difficulty in anticipating the risk of the emergence of resistance during treatment. Here we developed a new Acinetobacter baumannii pneumonia rabbit model using high inoculum. We demonstrated the emergence of resistance with rifampin, an existing antibiotic debated as a rescuing option to treat CRAB infections; and even intensified rifampin doses failed to close the mutant selection window. This CRAB pneumonia rabbit model represents a valuable tool to evaluate the efficacy of new or existing therapies and provides supportive data in antimicrobial resistance pharmacodynamics.

Numerous scholars have identified the shortcomings of imprecise terminology and substantial computational inaccuracies in the current models for predicting the axial compression capacity of CFRPstrengthened reinforced concrete (RC) cylinders. To improve the prediction accuracy of the axial compressive capacity model for CFRP-strengthened RC cylinders, the present axial compressive capacity model for CFRP-strengthened RC cylinders was scrutinized and evaluated. Drawing on Mander’s constraint theory and the concrete triaxial strength model, a novel axial compressive capacity model for CFRP-strengthened RC cylinders was proposed. This study collected 116 experimental data on the axial compression of CFRP-strengthened RC cylinders and analyzed the accuracy of various models using the data. The findings indicate that the model proposed in this study outperforms other models in predicting axial compression capacity and demonstrates high prediction accuracy. Furthermore, an analysis is conducted on the variation law of the model’s predicted value with respect to the design parameters. The proposed model in this study identifies concrete strength, stirrup spacing, and elastic modulus of CFRP as the primary factors that influence the axial compression capacity of CFRP-strengthened RC cylinders.

This unique study investigated the educational and service delivery impacts of a team-based, innovative model of interprofessional education (IPE) namely the Rural Interprofessional Education and Supervision (RIPES) model on participating students, clinical educators, and their workplaces, in rural Australian healthcare settings. Participating professions included dietetics, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech pathology. Outcomes from the RIPES model were compared with regular uni-professional placement models. A multi-site, pre-post, comparative design was used. The main data collection measures included were the Students Perceptions of Interprofessional Clinical Education – Revised scale, the Interprofessional Socialization and Valuing Scale, and time-usage data. The RIPES model resulted in significant improvement in students' beliefs, behaviors, and attitudes that underpin interprofessional socialization and collaborative practice in healthcare settings. Importantly, students were able to benefit from the RIPES learning activities without compromising their contact time with patients. Clinical educators spent significantly more time in non-patient contact activities than the uni-professional group. This important work was undertaken in response to previous calls to address a gap in IPE models in rural areas. It involved students from multiple professions and universities, measured impacts on multiple stakeholders, and followed international best practice interprofessional education research recommendations. GREEN technology ,SUSTAINABILITY ,QUALITY of life ,SOCIOECONOMICS ,TECHNOLOGICAL innovations - Abstract
The current stage of production development is marked by the search for more exact models ensuring its sustainability. This is perceived mainly as a balance of socio-economic and environmental pillars of development activities. The basis for managing the sustainability of socio-economic development and the development of the organization today and in the near future is the assessment of the environmental performance of product systems related to their overall socio-economic value improving the quality of life. In order to simultaneously solve the issue of creating and protecting the environment and ensuring the commercial and economic sustainability of products, it is possible to use the international standard ISO 14045, designed on the basis of the standards for LCA - ISO 1404 and 14044. In relation to sustainable production, it is currently proving to be a very effective addition methodically by linking to the framework green growth indicators from the OBCD level and their integration into the innovation model for assessing the environmental performance and development sustainability of product systems. As part of our research, variants of possible transition paths in the development of a sustainable product were modeled in relation to its future environmental profile. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The CHANS structure (coupled human and natural systems) offers a prism through which dynamic human and nature interactions can be viewed. Multiple frameworks have been developed under CHANS that look at a certain aspect of such interactions at different levels. One such framework is metacoupling, which is considered a tentative solution to achieving various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this context, this paper aims to give a comprehensive overview and develop an innovative conceptual model to understand intracoupling which comes under the umbrella concept of metacoupling. Based on the review of literature and the qualitative observations from the authors' perspective the study has been designed in the form of a review of literature and later a conceptual framework has been developed. The model proposed in the article is applied to analyze the Public Distribution System (PDS) in India. PDS plays a vital role in ensuring food security which is given high priority in the list of SDGs. This framework is expected to offer the policy makers and researchers a new perspective in seeking creative solutions for the achievement of SDGs. It can also help in furthering the studies and theory-building process related to sustainability. Pioneering future applications to other social and economic challenges are suggested. Also, implications for research and policy are provided. To conclude, this paper adds to the existing literature on human nature interactions by providing a theoretical perspective to better understand the intricacies associated with it. In this paper, the object of research is an innovative model of regional management of freshwater resources in the context of achieving environmental goals. The study found that the most problematic issues are the lack of clear criteria and methodological mechanisms in the formation of the basic innovative principles of freshwater resource management in the context of sustainable development. When solving the problems posed in the work, the methods of analysis and synthesis, comparative comparison and logical generalization were used. On their basis, the analysis of the main principles of adaptation of the world experience of regional management of freshwater resources in the context of the implementation of the European Union Water Framework Directive was carried out and the conceptual foundations for the formation of an innovative model for the management of freshwater resources of territories in the context of sustainable development were developed. A cluster model of a regional innovation-information portal of freshwater resources is proposed, which allows uniting the efforts of public authorities, the population, the public, scientific institutions and business in solving problematic issues related to the ecosystem based on smart technologies in the context of sustainable development. It is determined that for the functioning of the cluster model it is necessary to develop institutional, legislative, regulatory, scientific and innovative, investment support. It is substantiated that the functioning of the cluster model of the regional innovation-information portal of freshwater resources will solve the following problems: – creation of a unified data bank for monitoring the quality of water resources, the results of scientific and technical activities, business planning and design for the conservation, restoration and purification of water; – information services in the field of innovation; – attraction of business representatives to co-financing of innovative projects. Thanks to the results of the conducted studies, it is possible to more objectively and balanced assess the possible schemes and tools for managing the territory’s freshwater resources. The conceptual approach presented in the paper is a rather flexible tool with a free choice of elements of analysis depending on the goals and objects of management. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The goal of this paper is to study and analyze integrated teaching, its teaching and organization methods and its significance for today's elementary school teaching. Given the fact that there has been an ongoing need to include interdisciplinary knowledge (which is based on integration and synthesis) in modern primary schools, this topic then becomes very relevant and interesting for professionals of different fields. Integrated learning and understanding of the world are the basis for the development of students' intellectual abilities, necessary for the integration of different perspectives they face in education, the development of which is an imperative in the 21st century, as stated by certain experts studying this topic. Integrated teaching is an innovative model which interconnects learning content from multiple subject areas. It provides more dynamics and interdisciplinary connections in teaching a certain topic, which then brings more quality, more meaningfulness and more creativity to the teaching process. Thanks to its didactic values, integrated teaching in primary school enables the application of a developmental model of education based on students' in-depth learning, development of creativity and individual authenticity, as well as the development of their divergent thinking. This teaching and learning model prepares students for lifelong learning, since they are expected to engage in additional activities in order to build relationships which would encourage them to act and find new solutions. All the models and levels of integration that we have explained in the paper can be successfully achieved in primary school, both at the class teaching and subject teaching level. Teachers who use their didactic and methodological competencies to assume significantly altered roles (consultant, helper, facilitator, educator, etc.) are an important prerequisite for effective implementation of integrated teaching. In addition to teachers' competencies and to preparing students for active participation in learning activities, an important prerequisite for the quality and effectiveness of integrated teaching are certainly teamwork and rational use of knowledge arising from both the theoretical and empirical research of this complex system of teaching. This paper has conducted a systematic analysis of integrated teaching from the aspect of: its characteristics and significance, current state and issues that occur during the actual teaching process, and the results of previous studies. As is evident from the paper, the results of the studies presented show that the most common shortcomings of the practical use of integrated teaching are the lack of time to plan it and implement it carefully, and the insufficient methodological competence of teachers, which indicates the need for professional development in this field.

The methodology of forming the innovative model of development at agrarian enterprises considered two types of analyses (internal and external) and included the following stages: analysis of the existing situation; analysis of the external environment; formation and selection of the optimal development strategy; implementation of the selected strategy; monitoring over the process of implementing the strategy. Results were presented in the form of the system for providing ecologically safe agrarian business. Practical results include the formed methods and mechanisms of their implementation towards: provision of the steady development in agribusiness of the region based on the innovative scheme by developing and supporting the organic production; increased employment in rural areas and, as a consequence, partial solution to social problems; provision of population with high-quality local ecologically safe produce. Value/originality. The originality is determined by the implementation of the process of greening the agricultural production in the context of applying alternative management systems, in which agrarian enterprises are considered as the economic ecological system, which is based on rational and ecologically grounded methods of production, by providing the quality of the produce and raw material, production efficiency as well as the minimal impact on the environment and production efficiency.

This article presents a follow-up examination of 10 iterations of a blended course on educational psychology and e-learning carried out at the University of Bari. All iterations of the course considered in this study were designed using the constructive and collaborative participation (CCP) model. Our main research questions are: What are the students’ long lasting memories of this course? How do the students use the skills and the competences acquired through the course across an extended period of time? In line with these research questions, the aims of this investigation can be summarized as follows: (i) to understand the students’ perceptions and long lasting memories of the course and (ii) to investigate the transfer of skills and knowledge across an extended period of time, based on a self-reported survey. The analysis was carried out by administering the survey to all 196 students who took part in the course in the 2005–2015 decade. 96 participants responded to the survey. The survey is designed to collect data in two areas. First, the memories related to the course and second, the way skills and content knowledge acquired during the course have been transferred to and used in other contexts after the course ended. The data were analyzed using a mixed methods approach, which revealed trends in the responses across the decade. In general, participants remembered the teaching methodology and often recalled specific activities such as Role Taking and the creation of products through group-work. These activities and approaches seemed to provide significant learning opportunities for the students. Several students also recalled key concepts and content knowledge acquired during the course. In relation to transfer of skills, participants tended to reuse mostly transversal skills, such as communicative and organizational skills, especially in work contexts. Further, about half of the respondents reused the content knowledge of the course. This analysis is valuable because it allows us to understand the aspects of the model that are significant for the students in the long term, and to discover and interrogate the acquisition and transfer of skills useful for the students’ personal and professional lives beyond the academy.

28. Development of an innovative model for the inter-integration of the architecture of the intelligent computer environment of critical infrastructure facilities of the railway
- Abstract
The object of research is the processes of intelligent management of the computer environment of data objects of the critical infrastructure of railway transport. When developing an innovative model of deep mutual integration of the architecture of an intelligent computer environment for the management of objects in the power supply system of railway transport, the only urgent task is to solve the problems of efficient and reliable power supply of electricity for train traction to ensure the transportation process. The approaches, mathematical models and methods that became the basis for the creation of an innovative model and a new structure of the management system, the integration of the architecture of the computer environment of data of critical objects of the infrastructure of railway transport, meet the requirements of modernity and the strategy of sustainable development of the transport infrastructure. Management of an intelligent computer environment in the context of the railway power supply system is a complex process that includes the use of various technologies and strategies to optimize the functioning of systems, increase reliability, ensure efficient use of electricity, and ensure the transportation process. The basis of the creation of an intelligent computer environment is the principle of a single informational and synchronous space for the formation of primary information, which is an important concept in the development of intelligent control systems for the power supply system of railway transport. This principle requires that all parameters and data that are collected from different systems of power supply facilities should be combined in a single information space and be available for analysis and management in real time. This principle creates the basis for innovative solutions in the field of railway power supply system management, and the use of the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning allows the

The article deals with the philosophical and pedagogical understanding of communicative practices in the educational process of a higher school. A typology of dialogue interaction in pedagogical search space has been proposed. Its usage creates conditions for the analysis, reflection and self-assessment of students in the organization of their training activity. The experience of organization of communicative educational clusters in higher artistic education, which provides for the transition from the primacy of formalized to innovative models of interaction between all participants of the process, has been presented. The conceptual values-semantic aspects of the implementation of interdisciplinary approach have been analyzed, and it has been shown that this approach opens qualitatively new possibilities for the reflection of the investigated object. The contours of a new view on the problem of dialogue, in particular, through the discursive activity of students, have been outlined: Problem group method, group therapy, group "buzz", "aquarium", and lecture-forum. The transition to interdisciplinary integration with project design forms is a prerequisite for creating an innovative model for the development of post-non-classical artistic education. In the organization of the dialogue, we take into account: the students' method to perceive different points of view, the search for the underlying motives, that is, those problem situations through which the own style of the studied material is formed, the development of tasks-conflicts associated with higher spiritual values, ideological and semantic sphere, designing various variants of interaction ways for dialogue participants. In this chapter, the object of study is an innovative model of regional management of freshwater resources in the context of achieving environmental goals. When solving the problems posed in the work, the methods of analysis and synthesis, comparative comparison and logical generalization were used. On their basis, an analysis of the main principles of adaptation of the world experience of regional management of freshwater resources in the context of the implementation of the European Union Water Framework Directive was carried out, environmental priorities for regional management of freshwater resources, their innovation and investment dominants, targets and a model of environmentally balanced management were determined. According to the results of the study, it is noted that: – effective management of freshwater resources is implemented through the appropriate management functions, which together contribute to the implementation of certain goals for the development of the water complex, ensuring a balance of interests of all subjects of water use; – at the present stage of development of the national economy in the context of global trends, environmental forecasts and social challenges, the obvious and uncontested goal of managing freshwater resources is to ensure a balance between the three vectors of sustainable development (economic, environmental and social), which is the triune imperative of state and regional development policy and protection, distribution and use of public resources. The implementation of this goal requires the development of a unified strategy that defines the main imperatives of water policy, which are guidelines for decision-making at all levels, create framework conditions and criteria for using the available water potential, uniform rules for all participants in the water resources market; – the main directions for improving the system of investment support for the innovative development of the region's water management systems include: improvement of regulatory and legal support and development of public-private partnerships, including in the form of ESCO contracts; – the proposed model of sustainable socio-humanitarian and environmentally balanced management of freshwater resources at the regional level, taking into account innovative forms of interaction in the field of water use, requires the transformation of the targets for the functioning of the water management complex in the direction of meeting the needs of present and future generations in freshwater resources. Thanks to the results of the conducted studies, it is possible to more objectively and balanced assess the possible schemes and tools for managing the territory's freshwater resources. The conceptual approach presented in the paper is a rather flexible tool with a free choice of elements of analysis depending on the goals and objects of management.

Collective monograph contains the results of scientific research on topical issues of development of innovation systems at the National level. The problems posed are considered in various aspects, so the results of the research are of practical interest, and their use can contribute to the formation of a policy for the development of regional economies. Section 1 presents the results of a study of the formation processes and features of the functioning of the National Innovation System (NIS), its main components and the links between them. In particular, investment and innovation systems (IIS) are studied as key institutions of the NIS, characterized by a pronounced system-forming function. A block diagram of the National Innovation System has been developed, which includes four main institutional subsystems and subsystems of specific links, which, in fact, ensure the functioning of both institutional subsystems and the entire NIS. The algorithm of their functioning is defined on the basis of its representation by means of a system of inequalities of criterion conditions. Section 2 analyzes the impact of nanoeconomics on the macroeconomics of an individual state based on the characteristics of the nature of nanoeconomics, its tangible and intangible forms, regularities, and evolution. The system of households as cells of individual consumption is characterized and it is shown that the structure of the national economy as part of the service sector, industry and the agro-industrial complex forms an entrepreneurial sector with active individuals. A close relationship has been established between the indicators of the development of nanoeconomics of the macroeconomic situation in a particular country and the relevance of the individual systemic factor for the development of national economic systems has been proved. Section 3 discusses the problem of identifying and leveling the breaks in the innovative development of socio-economic systems on the example of Ukraine in the face of new challenges for the state in the process of developing relations with the EU. An assessment of the level of innovative competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy is made and the most important factors for leveling interruptions in its innovative development in the conditions of association with the EU are identified. Recommendations are given for scheduling breaks in the innovative development of Ukraine. Among them: increased foreign investment and public funding; improvement of legal acts, reduction of corruption, institutional improvement; technology support through regional cluster programs or "smart specialization"; integration into the European Research Area. In Section 4, within the framework of the study of an innovative model of regional management of freshwater resources, environmental priorities, innovative investment dominants, targets and a model of environmentally balanced management of freshwater resources at the regional level are identified. This provides a more objective and balanced assessment of possible schemes and tools for managing the territory's freshwater resources. The conceptual approach presented in the paper is a rather flexible tool with a free choice of elements of analysis depending on the goals and objects of management. The monograph is intended for scientists who study the problems of innovative development of socio-economic systems of national economies either at the level of theoretical approaches, or at the level of practical implementation of measures aimed at determining priority areas for innovative development. It can be useful for practitioners in the field of state regulation, specialists and managers of various levels of industry, agro-industrial complex, services, etc., who solve practical issues of increasing the competitiveness of National Economies. The monograph can also be useful to graduate students and masters of universities in the relevant educational and scientific profile.

- Abstract
Implementation of basic ternary logic gates is more complex than binary gates in quantum‐dot cellular automata (QCA) technology. Several models have been presented for designing ternary logic gates. Most of these models are different solutions and are based on manual calculations. It seems that no simulation tool for designing ternary QCA (tQCA) logic gates has been presented. Unlike previous works, this study is an attempt to introduce an alternative model and the related software for tQCA logic gates. Prominent basic ternary logic gates – such as Min gate, Max gate and inverter – are proposed and simulated in the newly designed TQCAsim software which is an accurate simulation and design tool and is based on the algorithm proposed in this study. Unlike QCA designer software, which has been designed for binary QCA, TQCAsim is designed exclusively for tQCA. Thus, this software can be used to verify and implement the proposed tQCA gates and even earlier designs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

46. Development of innovative model of regional management of freshwater resources in conditions of sustainable development
- Abstract
It is substantiated that the functioning of the cluster model of the regional innovation-information portal of freshwater resources will solve the following problems: – creation of a unified data bank for monitoring the quality of water resources, the results of scientific and technical activities, business planning and design for the conservation, restoration and purification of water; – information services in the field of innovation; – attraction of business representatives to co-financing of innovative

Relevance of the research topic. The study of the issue of an innovative model of strategic development in the management of the security economy in the conditions of strengthening foreign economic ties and digitalization is conditioned by the lack of a unified approach to the implementation of the algorithm of this process Formulation of the problem. In Ukraine, direct budgetary funding of state scientific structures is mainly used, but insufficient funds are allocated for scientific research. The low level of innovative culture leads to the fact that the scientific, technological and innovative sphere is interpreted by state managers as social or purely expendable. That is, the formation of an innovative model of strategic development in the management of the security economy in the conditions of strengthening foreign economic ties and digitalization is a very relevant direction of scientific research. Setting the purpose and objectives of the study – to study an innovative model of strategic development in the management of the security economy in the conditions of strengthening foreign economic ties and digitalization. Research method or methodology. The article uses the method of systematization, classification, and theoretical generalization; graphical method. Presentation of the main material (research results). It has been proven that the main elements of the system of the innovative model of strategic development in the management of the security economy in the conditions of strengthening foreign economic ties and digitalization are: directing the economic and political paradigm of power structures, business and the scientific community to create conditions for the transition of the national economy to an innovative path of development; determination of the main directions of the innovative breakthrough of the national economy on the basis of a thorough analysis of world trends, technological forecasting and available scientific, technical and educational potential; adoption of the concept of partnership between the state, the scientific community andbusiness in achieving the parameters of state industry programs and projects for the formation of the internal market of consumption and the export potential of science–intensive products, etc. Field of application of results. The results of the research can be used in the practical activities of state and regional authorities, enterprises, organizations and institutions for the purpose of introducing and implementing an innovative model of strategic development in the management of the security economy. Conclusions on the article. It has been updated that in the conditions of strengthening foreign economic ties and digitalization, there is a need to strengthen economically justified state regulation of innovative development. All directions of the state policy of safe innovative development should be aimed, first of all, atensuring the sustainable development of the economy in order to prevent any declines in the production of products that are strategically important for ensuring the security of the state and strengthening its competitiveness on world markets, rational use of human and natural resources resources.

The accurate estimation of the dynamic changes in population is a key component in effective urban planning and emergency management. We developed a model to estimate hourly dynamic changes in population at the community level based on subway smart card data. The hourly population of each community in six central districts of Beijing was calculated, followed by a study of the spatiotemporal patterns and diurnal dynamic changes of population and an exploration of the main sources and sinks of the observed human mobility. The maximum daytime population of the six central districts of Beijing was approximately 0.7 million larger than the night-time population. The administrative and commercial districts of Dongcheng and Xicheng had high values of population ratio of day to night of 1.35 and 1.22, respectively, whereas Shijingshan, a residential district, had the lowest value of 0.84. Areas with a high population ratio were mainly concentrated in Dongcheng, Xicheng, West Chaoyang, and Southeast Haidian. The daytime population distribution showed a hierarchical spatial pattern of planar centers and second scattered centers as opposed to multiple scattered centers during the night-time. This was because most people moved inward from the areas with a low-high to high-low population ratio of day to night from night-time to daytime, which can be explained by the process of commuting between residential areas and workplaces. Several distinctive phenomena (e.g., the distribution of new industrial parks, the so-called old residential areas, and colleges and universities) in the development of China are reflected by the spatiotemporal pattern of the distribution of population. The general consistency of the population ratios of day to night, population distribution, population variation of typical communities, and population mobility pattern with previous research suggests that the subway smart card data has potential in analyzing dynamic diurnal variations of urban population. This method can be easily duplicated to calculate hourly dynamic changes in population at the community level. These results can be used to estimate the potential hourly number of evacuees under different temporal scenarios of disasters and to support future urban planning in Beijing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PRE-exposure prophylaxis , *DIAGNOSIS of HIV infections , *MEN who have sex with men , *TRANSGENDER people - Abstract
Introduction: PrEP awareness and uptake among men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender women (TG) in Thailand remains low. Finding ways to increase HIV testing and PrEP uptake among high-risk groups is a critical priority. This study evaluates the effect of a novel Adam's Love Online-to-Offline (O2O) model on PrEP and HIV testing uptake among Thai MSM and TG and identifies factors associated with PrEP uptake. Methods: The O2O model was piloted by Adam's Love (www.adamslove.org) HIV educational and counselling website. MSM and TG reached online by PrEP promotions and interested in free PrEP and/or HIV testing services contacted Adam's Love online staff, received real-time PrEP eCounseling, and completed online bookings for receiving services at one of the four sites in Bangkok based on their preference. Auto-generated site- and service-specific e-tickets and Quick Response (QR) codes were sent to their mobile devices enabling monitoring and check-in by offline site staff. Service uptake and participant's socio-demographic and risk behaviour characteristics were analyzed. Factors associated with PrEP uptake were assessed using multiple logistic regression. Results: Between January 10th and April 11th, 2016, Adam's Love reached 272,568 people online via the PrEP O2O promotions. 425 MSM and TG received eCounseling and e-tickets. There were 325 (76.5%) MSM and TG who checkedin at clinics and received HIV testing. Nine (2.8%) were diagnosed with HIV infection. Median (IQR) time between receiving the e-ticket and checking-in was 3 (0-7) days. Of 316 HIV-negative MSM and TG, 168 (53.2%) started PrEP. In a multivariate model, higher education (OR 2.30, 95%CI 1.14-4.66; p = 0.02), seeking sex partners online (OR 2.05, 95%CI 1.19-3.54; p = 0.009), being aware of sexual partners' HIV status (OR 2.37, 95%CI 1.29-4.35; p = 0.008), ever previously using post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) (OR 2.46, 95%CI 1.19-5.09; p = 0.01), and enrolment at Adam's Love clinic compared to the other three sites (OR 3.79, 95%CI 2.06-6.95; p < 0.001) were independently associated with PrEP uptake. Conclusions: Adam's Love O2O model is highly effective in linking online at-risk MSM and TG to PrEP and HIV testing services, and has high potential to be replicated and scaled up in other settings with high Internet penetration among key populations.
