Low-porosity materials based on hot-pressed wood fibers or nanocellulose fibrils (no polymer matrix) represent a new concept for eco-friendly materials with interesting mechanical properties. For the replacement of fossil-based materials, physical properties of wood fiber materials need to be improved. In addition, the carbon footprint and cumulative energy required to produce the material also needs to be reduced compared with fossil-based composites, e.g., glass fiber composites. Lignin-containing fibers and nanofibers are of high yield and special interest for development of more sustainable materials technologies. The present mini-review provides a short analysis of the potential. Different extraction routes of lignin-containing wood fibers are discussed, different processing methods, and the properties of resulting fiber materials. Comparisons are made with analogous lignin-containing nanofiber materials, where mechanical properties and eco-indicators are emphasized. Higher lignin content may promote eco-friendly attributes and improve interfiber or interfibril bonding in fiber materials, for improved mechanical performance., QC 20220420

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením testovacích obrazců na obalech z nasávané kartonáže. V úvodu přibližuje výrobu nasávané kartonáže s krátkým ohlédnutím na její historický vývoj a všímá si jejích výhod pro balení potravin. Dále jsou představeny možnosti zušlechtění nasávané kartonáže s důrazem kladeným na její potisk technologií nepřímého knihtisku. V teoretické části se práce zabývá popisem zkoumaných vzorků z hlediska jejích vlastností. Pro další část práce byly připraveny testovací obrazce, které byly vytištěny na krabičky určené pro balení a export vajec. Na vytištěných vzorcích byly změřeny potřebné parametry, které pak byly analyzovány v experimentální části práce. Z diplomové práce vzešlo několik doporučení na upravení postupu stávající výroby pro lepší výsledný tisk., This thesis deals with the evaluation of test patterns on molded fiber packings. In the beginning it introduces the topic of manufacturing molded fiber, with a short descripiton of its history, and takes into consideration its advantages for food packaging. Later on it brings to one´s attention possibilities of finishing molded fiber with an accent for its printing by letterset technology. The theoretical part of the thesis is talking about specification of researched samples in view of their characteristics. Test patterns were prepared for the next part of the thesis; these were printed onto cartons used for packaging and the export of eggs. On printed samples all of the needed parameters were measured and these were analyzed in the experimental part of the thesis. A few recommendations for adjusting current manufacturing procedures were suggested by this thesis to achieve better printing results., Fakulta chemicko-technologická, prof. Ing. La investigación que se planteará a continuación se enfocará en el estudio de una propuesta de trasdosado de fibras prensadas y conformadas para que se simplifique e industrialice los actuales procesos en rehabilitación de edificios. Debido a la actual crisis económica y ecológica se ha incrementado el reconocimiento del concepto RECICLAR cada vez más. Esto en cierta manera ayuda a innovar para reducir el consumo desconsiderado de los recursos y la degradación del planeta. En este estudio se tomará como punto inicial el material de base celulósica, que la empresa BIBROCEL s.l (spin off de la UPC) produce con una nueva tecnología limpia, con menores costos y prácticas medioambientales que permiten una actividad económica más sostenible. Para el desarrollo y progreso de la investigación se ha optado por la división en tres etapas del estudio, la primera basada en la investigación documental, que supone la recopilación y búsqueda de información más actual y que nos permitirá conocer la competencia con la que cuenta el mercado, las bondades que posee dicho material y el formato con el cual se podría trabajar para proponer la industrialización del prototipo. La segunda etapa nombrada como diseño, incluirá lluvia de ideas, los dibujos, modelos y el molde con el cual se realizará el estudio del prototipo. La tercera y última fase llamada experimental contará con el prototipo propiamente dicho y a escala real para obtener los resultados y validaciones, en la cual se tomarán como conceptos básicos el tiempo, el precio y el desempeño ambiental. For the development and research progress has been chosen by the division into three stages of the study, the first based on desk research, which involves the collection and search for latest information and offers insight into competition with counting market, the benefits that owns the material and the format in which it could work to propose the industrialization of the prototype. The second stage named design, include brainstorming, drawings, models and the mold with which the study of the prototype will be made. The third and final phase will call experimental prototype itself and ladder to get the results and validations, which is taken as basics time, price and environmental performance.
