The article focuses on the attitudes of labor unions toward job evaluation and ingrade progression. Labor unions usually prefer to have rate range wage structures with rapid ingrade advancement as a means of securing wage increases. Although the new rate is accompanied by a job evaluation plan, the trade unionist never mind that at all. A spokesman of labor says the return of peace and the removal of wage controls exposed several problems concerning job evaluation which were overlooked during the period of war.
