The article presents a case of a man named, Bill who was accused of murder and was tried in a court in Texas. He was turned over to California authorities as the Texas law officers thought that Bill deserves to die. In California, Bill had proven his innocence and when the Texas authority had learned the decision, they had asked for the Bill's return to Texas. The judge freed Bill as he did not voluntarily leave Texas, yet he is not to be considered as a fugitive.
