The article presents information on the growth of computerized car pools projects in the United States. Commuters are being matched according to their points of their transit into viable car pools. Lloyd R. Kimball has launched Kimball Car Pool Systems for Nassau County riders in New York. With the help of teletypewriter on-line to a service bureau computer, Kimball started the service in his home. To provide a workable match population, 800 subscribers are required and Kimball has under 100 subscribers so far. He will continue to send matches to subscribers.
