The article presents a court case wherein the defendant, Billie Sol Estes, was given a new indictment by a federal grand jury in El Paso, Texas after the grand jury in Franklin, Texas was discharged after five weeks of investigating the 1961 shooting of Agriculture Department official Henry H. Marshall. It states that the new jury raised the total number of his pending charges. It also states the conviction of Agriculture Secretary Orville Freemann for trying to thwart the hearings.
