The article discusses the effects of sports fitness to the motor fitness of young boys. An investigation to determine the progressive changes of sports fitness to the motor fitness of young boys was made. The study focused on the possible effects of sports training to balance, flexibility, power and endurance. After training, the subjects showed no specific evidence of improvements in balance. Although there is a slight improvement in flexibility, there is insufficient data to attribute the changes to the training. The training has resulted to an improvement in the power and muscular endurance of the subjects.

The study of effects of training on physique and growth of boys is faced with many problems relating to maturation level, nutritional status, seasonal variations and sociological and psychological influences. A practical experiment was made on a group of boys which had no training and whose measurements and scores was plotted for each year of age. The article presents a study about the role of body build and its relation to personality of mentally retarded individuals in the U.S. Retardates as a group more often show deviations in body builds than the general population. The subjects were 33 males patients with a mean intelligence quotient of 62 at the Pineland Hospital and Training Center. The normal children clearly choose the mesomorph as being strong while the retarded may have some difficulty in distinguishing between mass and strength.
