Huckeby, a farm worker, entered the Red River above the dam near the X on the right, was swept over the dam into the churning water. Edward Goff left his car and ran into the river about where the cross shows at lower right and attempted to rescue the swimmer. There was a struggle about at the X on the left. Chester Moe, Fargo, who was fishing threw a fishline from about the point of the arrow to the men but it snappes as Goff grabbed the line.
