OSTIAL stenosis of the coronaries in young children is extremely rare. It was found only twice in a series of 14,000 consecutive autopsies performed at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (Norris1), a percentage of 0.014.In the case to be described the histology of the lesion points to a syphilitic origin but there is no corroborating evidence provided by the history, the serological tests, or the presence of other stigmata of congenital syphilis. REPORT OF A CASE CLINICAL DATA. —The patient, a girl 9 years and 9 months old, was born of apparently healthy parents. She had a sister 7 years old.
