Abstract

Summary One of the techniques of the exponential class is used as a relaxation method for studying the kinetics of electrode reactions. The input is an exponentially decaying current pulse and the transient analysis reported here for Pt/Fe 2+ −Fe 3+ and Pt/Fe(CN) 6 4− −Fe(CN) 6 3− reveals good agreement with those reported earlier.
