A six-channel wide-band digital system for magnetotelluric measurements is described The system is designed to operate in the frequency band 10-.0001 Hz. The recording is made on a 7 track tape in an IBM compatible 12 bit format. The amplitude and phase responses of the system and sample records are presented.

An automatic data gathering and processing system for ??600-kV direct-current test lines at the National Research Council of Canada is described. The data consist of corona-loss current, radio interference, meteorological information, line voltage, and real time. The system consists of a 16-channel analog multiplexer, an A/D converter, a real-time clock, and a teletypewriter. All data are recorded on magnetic tape in IBM compatible format. A small stored-program digital computer controls the data system. The reasons for choosing the computer-controlled system for this application, a description of instrumentation for measuring the weather variables, and methods for telemetering corona-loss current information across the high-voltage barrier are included.

An IBM-compatible incremental magnetic tape recorder has been added to a commercial multichannel pulse height analyzer. The main features of the system are described.

A series of programs are being developed to provide an EEG period analysis system on the PDP-12 processor at the Missouri Institute of Psychiatry. The program will, for a single lead pair, operate at up to ¼ real time for sampling rates ≤300 pps. Output is provided on a line printer and simultaneously on an IBM compatible tape for later processing, plotting and storage.
