A case of nonbeta-islet-cell adenoma of the pancreas with profuse watery diarrhea, hypokalemia, acidosis, achlorhydria and negative gastrin assay of the tumor, is presented. All these symptoms and signs disappeared after the removal of the tumor. This case brings the total number of cases with proven WDHA syndrome to 10. Some unusual features, such as flushing, hypercalcemia and normalization of hypercalcemia after operation, are presented and discussed. After excision of the pancreatic tumor, marked acid hypersecretion together with wide fluctuations in gastric secretory pattern, were observed, and are emphasized. It is the second time this finding is reported. Data concerning kidney disease are briefly commented on, in face of the known deleterious effect of potassium depletion upon the kidney.
