Reactor physical parameters such as the prompt decay constant, the life time and the absolute power of the reactor were determined at the critical assembly ITR by noise analysis. This was done by analysis of cross-correlation functions of signals obtained front ionisation chambers. These functions were calculated an-line and real-time by an analog correlator. Experiments were performed at powers up to 50 satt at 10 different core configurations. To determine the power (accuracy to 2%) a formfactor was applied that Look into account the space and energy dependence of neutron flux.
