In the USSR it i s c u s t o m a r y to use specia l appa ra tuses (chambers ) for disinfect ing clothing, linen, footwear, and bedding. Fo r this purpose many models a r e produced by industry. All c h a m b e r s have m a n ual control . Some hospi ta l disinfection c h a m b e r s of compara t ive ly sma l l s ize (under 3 m 3) a r e of a l l meta l , in tegra l construct ion, whereas chambe r s with a capaci ty of 5 m s or m o r e a r e a s sembled at the place of use. Exper ience of the fabr ica t ion of such chambe r s has shown that the s tandard of construct ion is not a lways a t a sufficiently high technical level .
