The article focuses on the influence of the painter Albrecht Dürer to the Fabbrica, a body of architects and other craftsmen, in designing the windows of the building Doumo in Milan, Italy. His influence to these artists were evident in the design and architecture of the windows because of its similarity to his works. Many foreign artists were involved in the work including Fernach, Bonaventure and Mochis. However, Lombard artists were uninterested in the foreign glass because of their enthusiasm for perspective and for foreshortening. His influence is also evident in a group of Passion panels due to the process of elimination in engraving.

The article discusses the attribution of Michelino da Besozzo to the stained-glass windows in S. Giulitta. The author maintains that the theory of Michelino's shares in the stained-glass window of S. Giulitta was limited to providing the cartoons is contradicted by the fact that the materials of glass, rods, bolts and frames for the window was delivered to the artist personally. She contends that the most decisive confirmation is provided by the trefoils which reveal the hand of an artist accustomed to panel and fresco painting, evident in the expressive qualities inherent in glass painting which corroborates the theory of Michelino's authorship.
