Four T Tau stars and related objects (RY Tau, T Tau, AB Aur and V1057 Cyg) have been included in our spectroscopic programme since 1973. The present paper is concerned with the spectroscopic observations made at the Crimea with the single-stage image tube S1. Tentative atomic line identifications are given for programme stars. CaII and OI emission line equivalent widths and profiles are presented for RY Tau, T Tau and AB Aur. The λ10830 Å line of neutral helium has shown P Cyg-type features for T Tau and V 1057 Cyg.

Investigations were made which show that the change in the dynamics of polymerization and in molecular weight of the polymer under an electric field is connected with the redistribution of the ions growing macromolecules and counterions. Analysis of the equations obtained showed that the field can either increase or decrease the rate of the process. The effect's trend and magnitude depend on the ratio of the mobilities of macroions and counterions, degree of dissociation of active centers, and the ratio of rate constants of free ions and ion pairs. An analysis of literature data relevant to polymerization under an electric field was made.

At present the problems of certifying monoenergetic neutron sources by means of an accelerator and their utilization for certifying various measurement means has not as yet been fully solved, since the metrological organizations have encountered this problem in relatively recent times. It was noted at the 1st All-Union Conference on the Metrology of Neutron Radiations, which was held in 1971 in Moscow, that reference and standard monoenergetic neutron sources are being produced in the USSR on the basis of EG-2M and EG-2.5 accelerators, and that the standard techniques in direct measurements in pulsed neutron fields are being developed [2]. Experience gained in carrying out this work has shown that the successful solution of the certification problems requires joint efforts of metrologists, measuring equipment developers, and customers.

The relation between the power loss of an electromagnetic wave passing through a freshly formed asbestos cement sheet and the moisture content of the asbestos cement has been investigated. Experimental data confirm the validity of the theoretical results obtained.

The results of physicochemical processes taking place in casting nozzles depend on the content of the steel of chemically active components and the composition of the refractory. An examination of the phase diagram of the systems forming contact zones in the nozzles enabled us to obtain a nomogram for determining the degree of erosion or tightening up of the nozzles in the intermediate ladles as a function of the composition of the refractory material and the content of aluminum in the steel being cast. In order to explain the stable feed of metal from the intermediate ladels in continuous steel casting plant in the crystallizer we recommend the casting of rimmed steel through magnesite nozzles, killed steel with a content of less than 0.01% aluminum through zircon nozzles, and containing more than 0.01% aluminum through fireclay (35–40% Al2O3).

Using the method involving primary heating and cooling of large blocks of refractory concrete, that is, by measuring the pressure of the steam in the concrete and the deformation of the block surface, it is possible to experimentally establish the drying and cooling cycle for blocks of different construction and made from different materials.

The excitation of a monochromatic plasma wave by a 'cold' electron beam is investigated. The solution obtained describes the transition from the exponential growth of the wave amplitude in the linear stage to the amplitude oscillations associated with trapping of the beam in the potential well created by the wave. The maximum amplitude and its oscillation period are found. Both non-relativistic and relativistic beams are investigated.

The extractability of nitrate complexes of trivalent plutonium from an aqueous phase at various concentrations was investigated. It was shown that tributyl phosphate (TBP) will extract trivalent plutonium from nitric acid solutions in the form of Pu(NO3)3. TBP at nitrate ion concentrations up to 1.2 M. Under the conditions studied, the distribution coefficient of trivalent plutonium depended very little on the concentration of hydrogen ions. The stability constants of the complexes Pu(NO3)3 · 3TBP, Pu(NO3)3, Pu(NO3) 2 + and Pu(NO3)2+ were determined and equaled 0.75 ± 0.1; 14.4 ± 0.8; 14.3 ± 0.8 and 5.9 ± 0.5.

The paper presents the results of research on the influence of not uniform depth of moldboard and boardless cultivation on agrophysical indicators in the basic soil preparation system in the corn cultivation on the reclaimed lands of the Upper Volga region during three rotations of the 4-field crop rotation. Investigations were carried out in 2004–2016 in the test site of Agrofirm “Dmitrova Gora”, ОJSC, Konakovsky District Tver Region. As an object of analysis the corn hybrid PR-39B × 29 was used, it belongs to the first group of early maturity in accordance with the FAO classification, and in the Upper Volga region condition stably reaches middle dough stage of the corn on the cob in the first half of September. The thickness of the arable layer is 20 ... 22 cm; humus content 1.62 ... 1.78%; easily hydrolyzed nitrogen 72 ... 78 mg; Р2О5 – 155 ... 182 mg; K2O – 93 ... 104 mg/kg of soil; pH solt extract – 5.8 ... 5.9. It has been established that moldboard plowing at 30 cm significantly improves the structure of the topsoil only, up to the level of a plowed furrow. Therefore, in order to fundamentally improve the reclaimed land structural condition during moldboard implements cultivation should be used subsoil plowing. Disk plowing and deep chisel plowing at the beginning of the corn growing season ensure the maximum supply of productive moisture in all soil layers compared to plowing to a depth of 20 (control) and 30 cm, but at the beginning of the field crops growing season productive moisture corresponded to the optimum value for all basic soil cultivation methods.

The energy consumption of different intensities agroecosystems with prolonged usage (> 100 years) of soddy podzolic soil was studied. It was found that the minimum content of humus energy and biophile elements is characteristic for degraded agroecosystems (1094 thousand of MJ / ha), and the maximum – for super-intense (1849 thousand of MJ / ha). In intensive and super intensive agroecosystem manure and mineral fertilizers (24.17 thousand of MJ / ha) make a significant contribution to the energy potential of the soil, and crop and root residues (98.8 thousand of MJ / ha) make a compromise. It is proved that the annual energy loss due to the mineralization of organic matter increases with increasing anthropogenic impact on the soil and amounts to: in compromise agroecosystems - 9.7 thousand of MJ / ha; in super-intensive and intensive - 26.0 ... 31.3, and in degraded - 33.9 thousand of MJ / ha. The maximum total decrease in the energy potential of the soil over a 102-year observation period is characterized for degraded -42% and extensive -10% agroecosystems. The additional revenues of energy with organic and mineral fertilizers increases the energy intensity of the intensively used argolandscape to the level of a compromise, and super-intensive increases it by another 23%.

The distribution coefficients of mono- and dibutyl phosphates between an organic phase containing tributyl phosphate in hydrogenated kerosene, and water and nitric acid, alkali and soda solutions were determined. It was found that a concentration of monobutyl phosphate below 0.001 mole/liter (equilibrium concentration) and of dibutyl phosphate below 0.0001 mole/liter hardly affected the extraction of plutonium with tributyl phosphate.

The article deals within matters of the mineral elements removal with drainage water on reclaimed lands, on the Central Russian and Volga Uplands in an unstable hydrothermal regime. The reuse of drainage water for irrigation with the use of sprinkler and drip irrigation are assessed. Taking the example of drip irrigation is being considered the possibility of the most effective influence during the plant growing season on the hydrothermal regime of the soil and the ground-level pollution both in a dry year and in case of excessive rainfall. The features of drip irrigation technology with use of a mulching screen made of a membrane film with selective moisture permeability are described. The proposed method of drip irrigation of early varieties of potatoes due to more intensive condensation of water vapor on the inner layer of the screen allows to maintain a more stable daily soil temperature. The screen opaqueness inhibits the germination of weeds in wet row spacing, capillary humidification of the tuber formation zone in combination with the screen permeability for air prevent anaerobic processes in this part of the furrows and its overmoisturazing. The application of the proposed method of potato cultivation during drip irrigation provides the rational use of rainfall, increasing the uniformity of field moistening and reducing moisture loss, and also prevents the soil overwetting in the zone of tuber formation and provides aeration of the soil under the screen.

Long-term observations of the drained soil of peat-podzolic-gley light loam on ancient alluvial sands state on the example of the meliorative object "Tinky-2" showed that under the influence of agricultural use in the soil, the organic matter mineralization processes are accelerated. During the drainage process, the soil evolutionarily suffered the following changes: the peat layer was compacted, humified and mineralized, which was a reason of the transformation them into the humus horizon. Based on the monitoring studies results it was established that during 21 intensive use years the peat layer thickness was decreased by 74.5% and amounted to 5.51 inch, which in the following 20 years was decreased to a layer of 1.18 inch, and for another 14 years it became a homogeneous humus horizon containing difficulty identifiable plant remains. For half a century, the bulk density increased by 6 times and the total moisture capacity of the soil decreased by 3.6 times. Other indicators were changed significantly. So, the ash content by 2016 increased from 11.2% to 52.7%. It was a reason of the plough-layer decreasing and it mixes with the mineral sand horizon during plowing. It should also be noted that the total nitrogen content in the soil decreased by 1.13%, and total carbon by 15.3% from 1982 to 2016. The dynamics of changes in the soil acidity, phosphorus and potassium content is associated with the introduction of calcareous, organic and mineral fertilizers in the 1980s. The unsystematic exploitation of such soils leads to decrease in the agricultural products productivity and increase in energy costs. When planning these soils usage in agricultural production, it is necessary to develop and implement modern melioration technologies and techniques aimed to increase soil fertility.

The IR spectra of six monosubstituted and of four 2,6-disubstituted 1,4-dioxanes have been studied in the 650–1800cm−1 region. The assignment of the bands due to the vibrations of the 1,4-dioxane ring and to the deformation vibrations of the methylene groups of the ring is given. The appearance of a whole series of new absorption bands on passing from unsubstituted 1,4-dioxane to its derivatives is explained by the change in the symmetry of the molecule and the removal of the prohibition from the vibrations previously inactive in the IR spectra connected with this reduction in symmetry. It is proposed to use, in order to confirm the presence of a 1,4-dioxane ring in a molecule from the results of IR spectroscopy, not only the 1126-cm−1 band but the whole group of bands lying in the frequency ranges 800–950, 1000–1150, and 1200–1300 cm−1.

The paper presents theoretical approaches to assessing the effectiveness of introducing fallow lands into agricultural production, justifying the feasibility the measure implementation. The methodology of ecological and economic case of the introduction of long-term unused lands into agricultural circulation or their transfer to other categories has been developed. A distinctive feature of the proposed solutions is the search for a balance between natural and climatic potential of the territory limitations and the possibilities of agricultural production resource potential, as well as reducing the risk of not achieving the economic efficiency of investments in restoring the economic value of long-term unused lands. The research methodology is based on the generalization and comparative analysis of solutions in the field of management, mathematical statistics, simulation and analytical modeling of a sustainable agroecosystems production process. An algorithm for the land user needs assessment in the growth of agricultural production is presented, the absence of which is a reason to refuse additional areas. The procedures and operations for analyzing the ecological and economic, socio and economic efficiency of the fallow lands using have been established on the basis of which an integral assessment of the feasibility of putting them into operation is carried out. Recommendations are given for calculating the overall economic effect and risk at the final stage of the ecological and economic substantiation of land introduction into agricultural circulation. The fallow agricultural land in agricultural production using will help to increase the efficiency of the Russian government implementation decisions on the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex.

The nucleophilic opening of the thiirane ring by thiols proceeds with greater difficulty than that of the oxirane ring. Aliphatic and aromatic thiols in nonpolar solvents, using homogeneous catalysis by bases, can be unambiguously mercaptoethylated by selecting the necessary ratios of thiol compound and ethylene sulfide.

A method was developed for the preparation of the difluoronitroalkyl esters of alkyl-substituted orthosilLcic acids by reacting difluoronitro-containing alcohols with the appropriate organochlorosilanes.

A method was developed for the preparation of difluoronitroethoxymethylsilanes of general formula (O2NCF2CH2O)nSi(CH3)4−n by reacting difluoronitroethanol with the appropriate methylchlorosilanes, and some of their properties were studied.

A method was developed for the preparation of the 2,2-difluoro-2-nitroethyl ethers of 1,2-alkylene glycols by reacting 2,2-difluoro-2-nitroethanol with the appropriate olefin α-oxides.

Spread in Pilger rolling of tubing is an undesirable phenomenon since it reduces the total reduction and causes thickening of the tube wall (difference in thickness) and displacement of it from the surface of the mandrel in the zone between the rolls (Fig. !). Pilger rolling of tubing occurs under conditions of constantly changing parameters in the contact area and each element of the shell is subjected to deformation during several rotations of the rolls (Pilger cycles). At the same time the shell is turned, which leads to a different orientation in the groove of the transverse cross section of the element being worked and to a change in the working conditions of the tube wall around the perimeter.

Grain flattening and conservation of formula forage is a relatively new and promising method of feeds production. This method achieves an improvement of starch availability which loses its initial structure and is easily exposed to amylase. Whole soybeans seeds are indigestible for the most part. Total energy content of a feed and its digestibility are increased when ensiling flattened soybeans with corn tops. Feeding whole seeds in bulk causes a rise in expenditures. Consideration is given to the technology of joint ensiling of flattened soybeans with corn tops with the goal to provide feeding silage with digestible protein up to values no less than zootechnical rates set for high-intensity livestock enterprises. The following soybean varieties were chosen as an object of the study: indeterminate – Okskaya, semi-determinate – Svetlaya, and determinate – Mageva. Varieties become ripen at the 56° latitude provided that the sum of the effective daily temperatures is 1600…1800 °C [1]. Corn component is a corn hybrid PR 39Bx29 belonging to first earlier maturity group with value of 100 units according to FAO that becomes ripen in 90…100 days with the sum of the effective daily temperatures equal to 2200 °C. Field experiments were conducted in 2009…2012 in the cereals and row crops rotation on the experimental plot of the OAO “Agrofirma Dmitrova Gora” in the Konakovsky District of Tver Oblast. It is shown that such method raised the energy content of the feed and ensured high economic performance provided that corn and soybean production technologies and technological effectiveness of silage establishment and storage are complied with, silage components are selected correctly.

A discrete analog is obtained in the paper for certain classical results of the theory of linear inequalities.
