The article assesses the relationship between the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) Block Design and Object Assembly subtests for different types of practical tasks of psychiatric patients in both vocational and therapeutic rehabilitation. A study has been conducted which aimed to evaluate the predictive efficacy of the WAIS Block Design and Object Assembly subtests, the Performance Intelligence Quotient (IQ) scores and the Full Scale IQ scores. A total of 160 respondents have been placed into one of four diagnostic categories in which the Pearson product moment correlations have been used to examine the relationship between the variables. The results indicated no significant relationship established between the variables.
