131I-BSP連続肝胆道シンチグラフィに, 131I-BSP静注後の血中5分値に対する20分値の停滞率比を求め, 両所見による核医学的肝胆道疾患診断法確立へのアプローチを試みた。血中停滞比85%以上の群では, シンチ所見で腸管RI排泄の有無にかかわらず内科的黄疸例であり, 70～85%の群では腸管へのRI排泄を示さない完全閉塞所見は外科的肝外完全閉塞性黄疸例であった。40～70%の群では内科的か外科的かを判定するのは困難であったが, 4時間以後の排泄遅延所見をまた40%以下の群では2時間以後の排泄遅延所見を示した例は, いずれも外科的肝外胆道疾患例であった。

Tumor scanning with 57Co-bleomycin was carried out in 46 patients with an overall accuracy of G6% in malignant tumors. There were no genuine false positive results in four benign lesions. Since 57Co-bleomycin is excreted rapidly through the kidneys, a high tumor-to-blood ratio is obtained a short time after injection. Although its long physical half-life may restrict its routine use, 57Co-bleomycin might provide a valuable adjunct in the work-up of malignant tumors when used in properly selected patients.

A series of rocket experiments in which cesium ionized clouds were artificially produced by evening twilight chemical releases in the upper atmosphere has been conducted at Kagoshima Space Center, University of Tokyo. In these rocket series, simultaneous radio-radar and optical behaviors of artificial cesium clouds have been successfully investigated. This study indicates the utility of combined radio-radar and optical observations and presents the results to estimate the chemical yield, diffusion features in the magnetic fields and drift motions due to the ionospheric winds.

The occipital sinus could be identified in 190 (76%) of 250 brain scans. A midline single sinus was observed in 163 cases (86%), a double sinus in 17 (9%), and a laterally deviated sinus in 10 (6%). The relative width of the sinus as well as its course and intensity of activity are discussed. Correct diagnosis of posterior fossa lesions requires appreciation of the variability of appearance of the. occipital sinus on brain scans. The value of posterior stereoscanning is emphasized.

The intervention of factors originating from emotion is not infrequently encountered in the various clinical symptoms in the field of internal medicine. Using healthy male high school students as subjects, the vital reaction phase caused by qualitative difference of emotion was observed. Hypnosis was used as the method of inducing experimental emotion. Suggestions causing a pleasant feeling or ill-feeling were given, and hypnosis was induced as deep as to leave amnesia after awakening. Emotion was divided into a pleasant and ill-feeling. Although the serum chemocorticoid value decreased by a pleasant feeling suggestion, the value did not show a remarkable change when given an ill-feeling suggestion. Adrenaline-like substance in urine did not change under a pleasant feeling suggestion and increased under an ill-feeling suggestion. However, the noradrenaline-like substance did not demonstrate a remarkable change under both conditions. Wenger's autonomic score changed towards parasympathetic predominance under a pleasant feeling suggestion, while under an ill-feeling suggestion it changed towards sympathetic predominance. Ester B2 in blood, which is a co-ferment of dehydrogenase decreased when given an ill-feeling suggestion and did not show a marked change under a pleasant feeling suggestion. Tachycardia was found under an ill-feeling suggestion. With the E. E. G. it was found that the amplitude of the α wave somewhat increased when given a pleasant feeling suggestion, while the a wave was suppressed under an ill-feeling suggestion. Hematologically, the blood tended to be come dilute under a pleasant feeling suggestion, and the leukocyte count tended to increase 4 hours after given a suggestion. From the above results it may be clearly stated that the qualitative change of emotion induces a remarkable difference in the vital reactive phase.

1) “鼠に猫を使嗾する方法”によつて情緒ストレスを頻回に負荷して,血圧の変動を観察した. 2) 又白鼠を高食塩食餌を以て飼育し,これによつて発呈せられる高血圧に対して,情緒ストレスが如何に影響するかを観察した. 3) 1) については4カ月間の実験期間中,高血圧状態を惹起させることは出来なかった. 2)に関しては,情緒ストレスによつて高血圧の発呈が助長促進せられることを示唆する成績を得た.

Effects of mono-valent cations on dielectric properties of oil-impregnated paper were studied by the same method as that of un-impregnated paper.(1) In the range of this work, effects of mono-valent cations on the dielectric loss at low temperature (about 20°C) is not observed.(2) It is obvious that the order of cations which influences badly on the dielectric properties of oil-impregnated paper is same as that of un-impregnated paper. The order is as follows;(3) In order to compare the dielectric loss of oil-impregnated paper with that of un-impregnated paper, a value of tan δt/tanδu is obtained. Those values of the paper treated with NH4-salts are by far larger than those of the paper treated with other three electrolytes.

乾紙に関しては,先に報告したが,本報では,実用上重要な油浸紙の誘電的性質に及ぼす加熱の影響について検討した。高温部(100℃付近)の誘電正接に関しては,油浸紙の場合も,乾紙と同様,真空中加熱よりも空気中加熱の方が効果的である。一方,密度補正を行なった20℃の誘電正接は,加熱劣化の進むに従って悪くなっている。加熱条件が苛酷になるに従って,乾紙の誘電正接には悪影響を与えないが,油浸紙の特性に大きな影響を与える分解生成物が増加している。加熱による化学的性質の変化についても検討し,誘電特性との関係について論じた。

Hmax and smoothness were measured by needle touch type unevenness tester and Bekk automatic smoothness tester, respectively, and relation between h and Hmax or smoothness was examined.It was found that h was closely conected with Hmax or smoothness.When thickness of paper was measured in superposition by micrometer, and h was obtained with the formula showed in part 1, thereby the surface condition of paper is briefly known.

加熱によって絶縁紙の誘電的性質が変化する原因を究明するために,所定の条件で加熱した絶縁紙を,水洗およびアルコール・べンゼン混合溶剤で抽出して誘電的性質を測定したところ,加熱後の水洗により,乾紙の高温部(100～120℃)誘電正接におよぼす加熱の影響は非常に少なくなることが認められ,空気中加熱によりセルロースを劣化させた時に高温部の誘電正接が改善されるのは,絶縁紙中に微量含有されている金属イオンが束縛されることが大きな原因であると考えられること,および加熱による吸湿性の低下も原因の一つであることを認めた。過酷な加熱によって油浸紙の高温部の誘電的性質が悪くなるが,その原因は加熱によって生成し,アルコール・ベンゼン混合溶剤にも,また,水にも溶解する物質によるものであることを明らかにした。

Mechanical behavior of the paper for power cable under dry condition was studied. The samples w ere impregnated with insulating-oil or microcrystaline wax after drying, and tensile strength, elongation, folding endurance, bursting strength and tear resistance were measured.(1) Comparing the mechanical strength under dry condition with that RH 65 %, there was remarkable change in the elongation of C. D (cross direction) and the folding endurance of both directions, C. D and the M. D (machine direction). Especially, the folding endurance of M. D showed the decreases of about 98%.(2) The order of properties which had been effected by heating was as follows;folding endurance>bursting strength>tear strength>elongation>tensile strength.(3) Comparing the heating in the air with that in the vacuum, so much difference was not approved by heating of 110°C and 130°C in all the properties, but remarkable change was recognized at 150°C.(4) Some difference was shown on the extreme decrease both direction, M. D and C. D by heating and remarkable difference was shown in the folding endurance and elongation by heating in the air.

The authors present a case of myositis ossificans in the right thigh showing an excessive accumulation of 99mTc pyrophosphate prior to observable roentgenographic changes. Bone scanning with 99mTc pyrophosphate is very useful for the detection of soft-tissue lesions which produce extraskeletal ossification.

Of 15 patients with Takayasu's arteritis studied by 131I-macroaggregated albumin lung scanning, 12 showed perfusion abnormalities. The lung scan proved very useful in detecting the pulmonary artery disorders associated with Takayasu's arteritis. The pathogenesis of this disease and clinical usefulness of this study are discussed.
