Abstract

Repeated subcutaneous injections of Mitomycin C at a level of 0.2yug in a saline solution per mouse successfully induced subcutaneous sarcomas after the treatment in btk male mice. Histologically and biologically similar tumors were induced in the same mice by repeated injection of Actinomycin and by a single injection of methylcholanthrene in shorter latent period. Mechanisms involved in carcinogenesis of the three different chemical agents were discussed, ACTA PATH. JAP, 17: 495–501, 1967
