Se informa sobre el avance de las investigaciones realizadas en Centros de otros países y en el C1TEC sobre reducción de volúmenes y grado de contaminación de efluentes de curtiembre. Se pone especial énfasis en las operaciones y procesos de ribera. Se destaca la gravedad del problema con cifras altamente indicativas, y se proponen soluciones para algunas etapas del proceso. A survey on the development of the studies carried out in several foreign Institutes and at CITEC about reduction in the amount and degree of pollution of tannery effluents is given. Emphasis is putt on the beamhouse operations and processes. The seriousness of the problem is shown with remarkable figures, and solutions are proposed for some steps, of the processes.
