The article discusses the German judicial reform provisions contained in the Gesetz zur Änderung des Sozialgerichtsgesetzes (SGG - Law for the Reform of the Social Court Statute), effective as of January 1975. Changes involve restrictions on appeals, pre-trial proceedings, appeals on the basis of judicial error, and judicial review.

This article compares the situation of immigrants in the U.S. and Israel. The assurance of voting rights and facilities is significant part of the U.S. government's efforts toward equal protection of the Negro. These efforts are matched by the civil rights movement of American youth with its idealistic devotion, its sacrifice and perseverance. In Israel, the right to vote issue does not exist. However, each vote in Israel has equal weight and the problem of re-apportionment does not exist. There are different legal problems associated with the housing rights of Negro citizens in the U.S. such as freedom of contract and sale of private dwellings. School integration in Israel means depriving Arabs of their old-established right to maintain their own national and partly religious culture.

The article presents the author's views on the crime of Genocide. According to the author, half this century is drawing to a close, and the records show that the ancient world, under Persia, Macedon, and Rome, wrought nothing in the way of horror that can be compared with the wars of this generation. During the recent trials of war criminals in Central Europe a reign of terror raged in the occupied territories, which matched the barbarities of the war, but there is no report of one of the trial judges or their court aides taking any notice of it. Of course not it was their particular duty to deal with the barbarities of the enemy. The question of what had been done in the past or of what was taking place round about them was no concern of theirs. Moreover, according to the author, it is incumbent upon us to understand and recognize that the great difficulty reformers encounter in dealing with these subjects is the utter ignorance of 15 per cent of the people. They know little or nothing but the propaganda yarns disseminated by the governments. During war, the people of each nation are inflamed from morning till night by every means that will keep them to the sticking point.
