This rectangular picture frame has serpentine designs on all four sides, which form ornate spirals. In the corner of each side of the frame is an oval shape. On top of the frame sits a United States shield with American flags jutting out as though wings on either side of the shield, likely meant to represent an aviation badge, to which it is very similar. The frame has a two-pronged metal stand.

This shell is made of brass. It has an engraving of what appears to be an American soldier in uniform, pack on his back, holding a rifle in one hand and in the other, a German helmet. Also engraved on the shell is a shield, with a dove, oftentimes a symbol of peace, holding an olive branch inside of it. Engraved behind the shield are crossed three-bladed weapons. Below the shield "A.E.F. [American Expeditionary Forces]1918" is written on a ribbon design

This cup features the sepia-colored portraits of Emperors Wilhelm II and Franz Joseph I, bordered in a decorative gold design. In between their portraits is a sun with radiating beams of light that extend towards a double headed eagle with shield and sword. At the bottom of their portraits is the phrase, "In Treue fest," translated from German as, "in loyalty." To the right of Emperor Wilhelm II's portrait are two flags of the German Empire. To the left of Franz Joseph I's portrait are the flags of Hungary and that of the Austrian Empire. On the other side of the cup are two soldiers, both holding rifles at their sides. Each soldier extends a hand in the air, one holding a cluster of leaves and the other his cap. In the middle of the soldiers framed in gold is the coat of arms of the German Empire and the double headed eagle of the Austrio-Hungarian Empire's coat of arms, holding two shields. Underneath this design are the years, "1914-1915."

This tin doughboy helmet is red. On its front, it features a shield with an eagle and three stars on it. The gold outline around the shield has the words, "MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA" on it. Beneath this is a gold ribbon with the words, "FIGHTING SQUADRON." Gold wings appear above the shield and written in small print is manufacturer information, "LOUIS MARX & CO. NEW YORK, N.Y."

This black metal box has "LIBERTY BOND BOX" written in gold in the center of its lid. To the left of these words is the picture of an eagle on top of a United States shield. The bottom right-hand corner of the lid has manufacturer information, "COMPLIMENTS OF STEHLIN & COMPANY GILLESPIE, ILLINOIS," also in gold. The box has a lock on it

This stick pin features a red shield. The shield has a black anchor in its center. Underneath the anchor are five golden rings. Crossing the anchor in an "x" formation are what appear to be swords. Outstretched blue wings sit at the top of the anchor, as well as a star and crescent symbol.

This plate features a dove in its center. The dove appears to be holding a ribbon with the word "PEACE" written on it. Around the ribbon is a laurel breath. At the bottom of the wreath is the United States shield with "USA" written on it. Two United States flags surround the shield and the date, "NOV 11TH 1918" is written in black text underneath it. The dove is surrounded by the flags of Italy, Great Britain, the United States, France and Belgium. The dates "1914" and "1918" are written on either side of the flags in red text. The plate is outlined in blue and the outermost edge of the plate is outlined in red. The back of the plate features the manufacturer's name and location in blue text, "ELPCO CHINA MADE IN USA A 10."

This plate features the branch insignia for the United States Infantry, two crossed rifles, in its middle. To the left of this insignia is the symbol for the 1st Infantry Division surrounded by a gold laurel wreath and to the right, a letter "A," presumably for Company A. Above the muskets is an American shield with an eagle with outstretched wings. Across the top of the plate "AMERICAN.EXPEDITIONARY.FORCES" is written in gold lettering. Across the bottom of the plate written in gold is "FRANCE" and "GERMANY.1DEC," the country's names separated by a spiral design and three gold chevrons, indicative of a sergeant's ranking. On the middle outside edges of the plate the years "1917" and "1918" are written in gold. The lip or outer part of the plate is decorated with a gold leaf design.

This amber-colored candy dish is in the shape of an officer's hat. The hat bears the unassigned officer insignia on its front and two smaller unassigned officer insignia on either side of the hat. The unassigned officer insignia depicts the Great Seal of the United States, featuring prominently an eagle with wings outstretched with a United States shield in its center. This candy dish has a lid that has a circular spiral design on it.

This British tank model is made from porcelain. It is likely made to be a model of the British Mark I tank. It features the coat of arms of Inverness, Scotland. The coat of arms is a red shield with a depiction of Jesus on a yellow cross. Above the shield is a cornucopia. On either side of the shield are a camel and an elephant. Underneath the shield on a yellow scroll is written, "CONCORDIA ET FIDELITAS," which roughly translates to harmony and faithfulness. Below the coat of arms the city name "INVERNESS" is written in black text. The hatch of the tank bears the words, "MODEL OF 'BRITISH TANK'" in black lettering. The tank is gilded around the edges. On the bottom of the tank is the manufacturer's mark and name, a crown with the name "CLIFTON CHINA," underneath which is written "W.H. & S.J." Handwritten below this is the number "102." There is also a regulation number written, "REG NO 653588."

This circular toy badge is made of a light-weight tin. At the top of the badge "U.S. ARMY" is written and at the bottom "ADJUTANT GENERAL'S CORPS." In the center is the branch insignia of the Adjutant General's Corps, a shield with thirteen vertical stripes and one large and twelve small stars. The badge has a pin attachment on the back.

This pin is in the shape of an eagle with outstretched wings. In the center of the eagle is a red, white and blue American flag shield. The pin has a screw back attachment.

This button has a blue background and features a red shield in its center, with the words, "FOR THE BOYS OVER THERE" in white on it. Around the shield written in white are the words "UNITED WAR WORK CAMPAIGN." On the reverse side is the manufacturer's name and their location, "MADE BY AMERICAN ART WORKS" and "COSHOCTON, OHIO," separated by three horizontal dots.

This button features an outline of a shield in red on a white background. In the shield's center is a red cross with the words "AMERICAN JUNIOR RED CROSS" around it in blue lettering. The top part of the shield is filled in blue.

This button features the symbol of the Salvation Army, a red shield, with the words, "THE SALVATION ARMY" in white text on the shield. The shield is thinly outlined in a blue circle. Below the circle is written "HOME SERVICE FUND" in blue with four blue dots on each side of the first and last words. On the reverse is a paper insert with the manufacturer's name, "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. BUTTONS, BADGES, NOVELTIES AND SIGNS." There is a stamped symbol underneath this and then the manufacturer's location, "NEWARK, N.J."

This medal is square in shape and features a picture of what appears to be winged Victory holding and surrounded by olive branches, symbols of peace. Her right hand rests on a square shape, which reads "1917-1919 PRESENTED BY THE PEOPLE OF MUNCY, PA." Across the top of the medal the word "VICTORY" is written. On the medal's obverse side at the bottom is the manufacturer's mark, "BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCH, N.Y." with the symbol "MPB PIU" inside a shield underneath. Holding the medal, attached by two clasps, is the figure of an eagle standing on a shield with a star on it. There is a pin attachment on the back.

On the obverse side, this medal features a depiction of Lady Justice in the center holding a sword. To the left of her is a soldier and to the right is a marine, both holding guns. Below her is the United States shield. Around the edge are the words "FOR DEMOCRACY LIBERTY AND JUSTICE." On the reverse side the city of Schenectady's seal is featured. Above it is an eagle. To the left side of the seal men are seen battling and to the right there are ships with airplanes above. The bottom half of the medal reads, "PRESENTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SCHENECTADY TO THEIR LOYAL DEFENDERS." The medal is held by a purple and yellow ribbon and at the top of the ribbon is a bar pin with the dates "1914-1919," a star on either side of these dates. Above this is an eagle, wings outstretched.

The obverse side of this medal features a depiction of winged Victory, with a sword and shield. A fasces is an ancient Roman symbol depicting rods bound together, with an ax emerging out of it. Above the fasces is written, "THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILIZATION." On both sides of the shield there are allied countries listed. On the right side, in order, "Great Britain, Belgium, Brazil, Portugal, Romania, China." On the left side, in order, "France, Italy, Serbia, Japan, Montenegro, Russia, Greece." At the bottom of the medal are 6 stars. At the top of the medal is a circular attachment, which originally would have connected to a rainbow colored ribbon, but is now missing from this medal.

This badge is in the shape of a 'V.' The V features the words "VICTORY LIBERTY LOAN." In the space between either side of the V is an American flag shield with red, white and blue coloring and below this is a torch. On the reverse is a pin with which to attach the badge and the manufacturer's name "The WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK N.J." Hanging from the badge is a red, white and blue ribbon. In gold lettering it says "COMMITTEE." Below this is a gold horizontal dotted line and then the words "LIBERTY" and "LOAN" on separate lines. The fastener that attaches the ribbon to the badge has written on it "PAT. AUG."

On the obverse side of the medal is a picture of tents, with a flag in the foreground and a lighthouse and castle in the background. At the top of the medallion is a shield with the Isle of Man's flag on it, consisting of three legs. There is barbed wire around the border. On the reverse side is written "WELTKRIEG 1914-1915 ERINNERUNG AN DIE KRIEGSHAFT DOUGLAS ISLE OF MAN." Around the text is a wreath.

This medal features Paul Revere on a horse wielding a sword against a man with a knife. Underneath this is the text, "PAUL REVERE'S RIDE." Below that is "BOSTON 1930." On the edge of the medal contained within a banner is the text "12TH NATIONAL CONVENTION." At the bottom of the medal is a circle bearing the American Legion logo. The American Legion text is outlined in blue. On the top half of the medal is a domed building with the likeness of a soldier in its center, contained in a circle. On either side of the circle are what appear to be olive branches. There are two more soldiers to the left and right of of the center one, also contained in circles. All three soldiers are wearing three different caps. The reverse side of the medal features a shield with a picture of the six New England states: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. The text within the shield says "NEW ENGLAND WELCOMES YOU." Above the shield is written, "DESIGNED BY DUANE FRAMINGHAM MASS." Below the shield is written "MFD BY THE ROBBINS CO ATTLEBORO MASS." The ribbon from which the medal hangs has a black stripe in the center, outlined on either side by thin lines of red yellow, green and blue. The stripes to either side of the black one are brown in color. There is a pin on the back of the medal.

This copper colored medallion features two men fighting. They are grabbing each other's wrists and the man to the right is wearing a cape. Below the men is a small shield. Above them is a banner that says "Svenska Gymnoch idrotts Förbundeti Amerika," roughly translated as "Swedish Gymnastics Sports Association of America."

The reverse side features a picture of St. George riding a horse and carrying a sword. The sun is shining down on them and there are waves in the background. The horse is stomping on a Prussian shield and to the left of the shield is a skull and crossbones. Along the edge are the dates "1914" and "1918."

In the center of the obverse side of the coin is a soldier on bent knee with a hat on and a rifle in his hand. Surrounding him are the words, "SERVICE WITH AMERICAN ARMY IN THE WORLDS WAR, 1918." On the other side is the picture of an eagle, standing on both a United States flag and a shield with an olive branch. Surrounding the eagle are a number of stars. Underneath the eagle is written, "TRUST IN THE LORD AND KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY."

This badge features a shield with the British flag on it. In the center of the shield is a pair of gold wings, with a gold anchor underneath. On top of the shield is a gold and red crown.

This badge is metal and features a shield in its center. The top of the shield has 13 stars; below this are 13 vertical stripes with the letters "U" and "S" on top of the stripes. The shield is surrounded by a pair of wings. The reverse side is covered with a small circular pattern.

This button is made of metal. It features a red and blue shied with outlined white letters reading "USO" in its center. Underneath is a red outlined ribbon with the words "UNITED SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS" in blue lettering. On the reverse side there is green text etched into the metal, with the words "MARK OF QUALITY" around a company seal which reads "ALLIED PRINTING TRADES UNION LABEL COUNCIL CHICAGO, IL." There are also two green ducks etched into the metal.

This button is made of metal. It features a red and blue shied with outlined white letters reading "USO" in its center. Underneath is a red outlined ribbon with the words "UNITED SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS" in blue lettering. On the reverse side there is text etched into the metal, with the words "MARK OF QUALITY" under a company seal which reads "ALLIED PRINTING TRADES UNION LABEL COUNCIL CHICAGO, IL." There are also two ducks etched into the metal.

This badge is made of metal and in the shape of a shield. It features the caduceus symbol. This is the symbol of the Greek God Hermes and has two snakes winding around a winged staff. The symbol became associated with the medical profession in the United States in the late nineteenth century. Above this symbol are the letters "VMS," standing for Volunteer Medical Services.

This badge is metal and features a British Red Cross shield surrounded by the words, "British Red Cross Society." Underneath is written "inter arma caritas," the motto of the International Committee of the Red Cross meaning "amidst arms, charity."

Metal plaque depicts a soldier holding a gun on the left and a woman with a shield and sword on the right. Above is an eagle surrounded by laurel. The text on the plaque reads "1914 WORLD WAR 1918 TO HIS COUNTRY IN TIME OF NEED THIS MAN PLEDGED HIS LIFE HIS FORTUNE AND HIS SACRED HONOR GILBERT YOUNG."

Banjo is five stringed, but is missing all strings. The neck and peghead are made of wood while the body of banjo is made of vellum. Multiple brackets surround the exterior. The vellum has been decorated in colored ink. The decorations appear as follows: There is a blue ring around the outer edge followed by a red ring within it. Within the red ring is a large "A." On either side of the "A" are two shields. One shield has "26 Inf." in red ink and is surrounded by a laurel crown. This indicates the United State's 26th Infantry. The other shield has a red colored "1" and is surrounded by a green laurel crown. This indicates the 1st Division. Additionally, "Shelby K Perry" and "Bought in Germany June 5, 1919" are written in the center of the vellum. On the reverse side of the banjo are the names of the people belonging to the 26th Infantry, 1st Division. Though some of the names are illegible, the readable names are: James Wright, Harry R. [last name illegible], Ray F [Turentin?] (1st Lt. 26th Inf.), Edward S. Hawkins, W.C. Sinmetz (2nd Lt. 26th Inf.), George N. Blair, Robert L Hicks (1st Leut 26th Inf.), Florence W Smith, Helen M [White?], Harry H. Johnson, Dayton Sackett (1st 26 Inf. U.S. Army), Isabel Trotter, Mary Adeline Craig, J Williams, and four other names that are illegible.

This small pouch is made of cloth and has a leather closure at the top, with holes that can be threaded with string or ribbon. The pouch bears an image of the U.S. Seal, surrounded by the inscriptions, "U.S. MAIL" and "FROM U.S. ARMY CAMP EDWARDS MASS.". Camp Edwards was a U.S. Army training camp built primarily during World War II. This pouch was likely a souvenir item that soldiers training at the camp could send to loved ones back home.

Obverse side of metal coin has bust of George V facing to the left. Surrounding the bust it says "GEORGIVS V BRITT. OMN. REX ET IND. IMP." Reverse side of coin depicts a man holding a sword and sitting on a horse. The horse is stomping on a shield. Additionally, there are skull and crossbones next to the shield and a sun above the man and horse. On either side of the medal it says "1914" and "1918." As indicated on the side of the medal, this belongs to "18601 PTE. A. HALLS. NORF. R." Attached to the medal is a purple ribbon.

This circular medal is made of bronze, with "BRONZE" and the Paris Mint cornucopia inscribed on its edge. The obverse depicts two female figures; one resembles the Marianne figure used to represent the French Republic, wearing a Phrygian cap and holding what appear to be a flag and laurel branch. She rests her hand on the shoulder of the second figure dressed in military garb, including a helmet and sword. This second figure may be Joan of Arc, and likely represents the French Army. These figures are holding the city of Verdun in the background against a crowned and sword-wielding eagle in the foreground, representing Germany. Also in the foreground are coats of arms of Verdun and France, with "VERDUN ON NE PASSE PAS MCMXVI" ("Verdun none shall pass 1916") below. Inscribed very small is the artist's name, "CH. Pillet" (Charles Pillet), and his monogram "CP" is also on the reverse. The reverse of the medal has three portraits at the top, from left to right inscribed, "GENERAL PETAIN", "GENERAL NIVELLE", and "GENERAL DE CURIERES DE CASTELNAU". Framed by a laurel wreath are the words, "A LA GLOIRE DES HÉROS DE VERDUN MCMXVI" ("to the glory of the heroes of Verdun 1916"). The Croix de Guerre and Legion of Honour medals are at the base of the wreath.

This circular medal is made of bronze, with "BRONZE" and the Paris Mint cornucopia inscribed on its edge. Its obverse depicts a female figure wearing a crown and holding an American flag, who may be a personification of Liberty, Victory, or the United States (the latter is referred to as Columbia). She is pointing forward, directing Doughboys fighting on a battlefield. Inscribed on the obverse are, "St MIHIEL 1918" and the artist's name, "F FRAISSE" (likely referring to the French medalist Édouard Fraisse). The reverse of the medal bears an image of a helmet, shield, and map labeled "St Mihiel", surrounded by a wreath. Below are the dates of the Battle of St. Mihiel, "12 & 13 Sept 1918", along with a description in English and French. English: "The American Troops operating victoriously in the St Mihiel Secteur broke the resistance of the ennemy [sic] and captured 13300 prisoners". French: "Les Troupes Americaines operant victorieusement dans le Secteur de St Mihiel ont brise la resistance ennemie et fait 13300 prisonniers".

This circular medal is made of bronze, and the obverse depicts a Catholic chaplain holding a crucifix and leading servicemen in prayer at the battlefront. Battleships are visible in the background. During World War I, chaplains funded by the Knights of Columbus supplemented those already provided by the National Catholic War Council, and this medal was awarded to recognize their service. On the reverse of the medal is the inscription, "PRESENTED TO" with a blank space to write the name of the medal's recipient, and "IN RECOGNITION OF PATRIOTIC LABORS AS A KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CHAPLAIN IN THE SERVICE OF GOD AND COUNTRY WITH OUR HEROIC MEN OF THE VICTORIOUS AMERICAN FORCES IN THE GREAT WORLD CONFLICT OF 1914-1918". These inscriptions have been placed on a shield, which is surrounded by a wreath with "SUPREME COUNCIL" on a ribbon below next to the Knights of Columbus emblem .The emblem consists of a shield overlaying a Maltese Cross, with "K of C" above. Mounted on the shield are a fasces, an anchor, and a dagger or short sword. Inscribed on the edge of the medal is the name of its manufacturer, "WHITEHEAD-HOAG" (The Whitehead & Hoag Co.).

Pin is made from cardboard. The obverse side is in the shape of a silver shield. There is an Iron Cross and text "Landsturm-Bataillon Hersfeld Nr. 44" (Landstorm-Battalion Hersfeld Number 44). Metal clasp at the top of the pin has "Zettko" stamped into the metal.

Metal bracelet has small ID tag with the US Navy Pilot symbol (a shield and wings superimposed on an anchor) soldered on. On either side of the ID tag are square chains. On the back of the bracelet "MADE IN THE U.S.A" and "PONTIAC SUPREME" are engraved. This indicates that this bracelet is a Pontiac Supreme deployment clasp watch band. It is possible that this once belonged to a deployed US Navy pilot.

This badge is made of an unknown metal and features the lesser coat of arms of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. This consists of a crowned double-headed eagle with a heraldic shield on its chest. One of the eagle's legs may have broken off, since it appears to posses only one. The Kingdom of Yugoslavia was formed in 1918 after the end of World War I, and was first called the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. Its coat of arms incorporated symbols related to the Serbian, Croat, and Slovene nations: the upper left section of the shield displays a Serbian cross, the upper right has the checkerboard from the Croatian coat of arms, and the bottom section has the three stars from the Slovenian coat of arms.

This badge is made of an unknown metal, and features a royal crown above the motto of the Order of the Garter: "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" ("Shame be to him who thinks evil of it") inscribed upon a garter that surrounds a shield bearing three cannons. Inscribed on a scroll below is, "ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS". Great Britain's Royal Army Ordnance Corps was formed after World War I in 1918, from the merging of the Army Ordnance Department and the Army Ordnance Corps.

This badge is made of an unknown metal, and features a royal crown above the motto of the Order of the Garter: "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" ("Shame be to him who thinks evil of it") inscribed upon a garter that surrounds a shield bearing three cannons. Inscribed on a scroll below is, "ROYAL ARMY ORDNANCE CORPS". Great Britain's Royal Army Ordnance Corps was formed after World War I in 1918, from the merging of the Army Ordnance Department and the Army Ordnance Corps.

This fork has a .303-inch caliber rifle cartridge for its handle, with the projectile still attached. The fork component has three tines and appears to have been soldered onto the bullet projectile. Applied to one side of the cartridge is a small France Moderne coat of arms, consisting of a crown above a shield bearing three fleurs-de-lis.

Copper colored badge depicts two nude men fighting. They are grabbing each other's wrists and the man on the right is wearing what appears to be a cape or cloth. Above the men is a banner that says "Svenska Gymnoch Drotts Forbundeti Amerika" and below is a shield. Literally translated, the words on the banner roughly say "Swedish Gymnastics Sovereign Foundation America." The reverse side of the badge is blank.

Metal pin depicts a shield. At the top is the United States American Legion logo with wings at either side. On the shield there are multiple banners which say "Armistice Day," "Nov. 11, 1941," "Wisconsin," and "Aerial Round-up Membership."

This badge is made of brass and was worn by London Rifle Brigade cadets beginning in 1908. It features a wreath with crossed sword and mace behind a shield bearing the Royal Standard of the United Kingdom (with the Irish harp, Scottish lion rampant, and English lions passant guardant), all underneath a royal crown. Around the shield are the words, "LONDON RIFLE BRIGADE", with the unit's Latin motto "PRIMUS IN URBE" ("First in the city" in English) below, which refers to the fact that it was the first volunteer rifle corps in the City of London. Beneath this motto is a shield bearing the City of London's arms (a cross with an upward-facing sword in the upper-left quadrant) with "CADETS" below.

The case is made of a silvery metal with a hinged lid, and is lined with red felt. Pressing a button on the bottom portion of the case releases the lid, and the same mechanism allows the lid to snap shut. The lid has been stamped with three different military insignia; in the center is a spread eagle bearing a shield, similar to U.S. Navy captains' badges. To the left is a castle overlaying a crossed sword, rifle, and what appears to be a club of some kind; the castle suggests this insignia relates to the Corps of Engineers. To the right is a crossed sword and what appears to be a staff, overlaid by a fouled anchor, suggesting that this is a U.S. Navy or Marine Corps insignia., Inside the case is a blue, gold, and white cardboard package of razor blades, labeled, "Ever-Ready Safety Razor BLADES" and "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." on the front, with an image of the Ever-Ready shaving man. The sides of the package have been labeled "2 Ever-Ready Radio Blades" and "Special Package". The back of the package reads, "This package contains two guaranteed triple-tested blades. Advise makers if Ever-Ready razor or blade ever fails to shave perfectly. MADE IN U.S.A.". Also inside the case is a Gillette safety razor, separated into its handle and head components. On the back of the head is stamped, "GILLETE", "MADE IN U.S.A.", and a series of patent information: "PAT. NO. 1633739", "PAT NO. 1639335", "OTHER PAT. PEND.", and "REISSUE PAT. NO. 17567". Around the edge of the handle is a faded and partially-obscured stamp: "PAT. JAN 13 1920 U.S.A. OTHER PATENTS PENDING".

Williams' Shaving Stick boxes originally came with a stick of shaving soap, absent here. This particular design was called the 'hinged-cover nickeled box' in magazine advertisements to distinguish it from the company's other similar products. The lid can be popped open with the aid of a small protrusion opposite the hinges. "Williams' Shaving Stick" and "Pat'd Nov 19 1907" are stamped on the lid, while "THE J.B. WILLIAMS' CO.", "EST. 1840", and "GLASTONBURY, CONN. U.S.A." are stamped on the bottom, along with a brand logo consisting of a rooster perched on top of the letter 'W' shaped like a shield.
