Developing cost-effective and stable materials for the electrocatalysis of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) remains challenging. In this study, efficient catalysts for HER were synthesized by integrating the cobalt and molybdenum oxides via electrodeposition, followed by subsequent sulfurization of the as-prepared oxides using chemical vapor deposition (CVD). This methodology allowed the incorporation of both cobalt and molybdenum components into the catalyst in a single step. The as-synthesized CoSx@MoSx/MoOx-based catalysts exhibited excellent hydrogen production performance in acidic media owing to the presence of Co-S and Mo-S bonds in the hybrid structure. Particularly, CoSx@MoSx/MoOx(90@360) and MoSx@CoOx(180@180) displayed the best HER performances with low overpotentials of 80 mV and 150 mV, respectively. The catalysts were highly stable, with their stability preserved for over 1000 cycles with marginal reduction in overall efficiency. Therefore, these findings suggest the potential of CoSx@MoSx/MoOx and MoSx@CoOx composites as ideal candidates for developing low-cost catalysts for electrochemical hydrogen production. Integrating more active components into a catalyst material could facilitate the development of multifunctional electrocatalysts for energy conversion and storage applications. In this study, we developed a multifunctional electrocatalyst, namely, Pd alloyed with Co-Fe deposited on N-doped mesoporous carbon derived from tissue paper (Pd@Co-Fe/N-TDC). The synergism in Pd@Co-Fe/N-TDC, stemming from the interatomic alloy between Pd and Co-Fe, N-doped mesoporous carbon with defective surfaces, distribution of polyhedral Pd nanoparticles, and strong metal-support interfacial interaction, resulted in significantly high electrocatalytic performance for both oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Pd@Co-Fe/N-TDC was found to be an efficient bifunctional oxygen electrocatalyst, and this was evidenced by a high onset potential (1.01 V) and kinetic current density (2.6 mA/cm2) for the ORR and by a low overpotential (296 mV) and a low Tafel slope value (38 mV/dec) for the OER, along with a small Δ E of 736 mV. The catalyst also exhibited high durability for both ORR and OER, even after 10000 and 5000 cycles, respectively. Theoretical assessment provides an insight into the synergism of active metal sites in Pd@Co-Fe/N-TDC, which showed its potential for use as a non-Pt electrocatalyst for energy applications. The aim of this paper is to investigate the effectiveness of combining mobile technologies and sensors to detect harmful particles in the air and address the problem of air pollution caused by traffic and exhaust emissions. The paper contains a systematic literature review of information technology research related to pollution detection in order to point out the main obstacles in the field and propose solutions. Furthermore, the paper presents the development of an Android smartphone-based real-time monitoring system that utilizes an external analog sensor board to acquire and evaluate physical measurements. The proposed system is calibrated for CO gas measurements, and it is compared with a commercial gas analyzer instrument. Results imply that the developed system is capable of detecting concentration levels in the air and that the accuracy is within the range of the industrial device's accuracy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The increasing environmental consideration and the growth of instability of the energy market call for methods that can process the organic fraction of municipal solid waste (OFMSW) into fuel instead of disposal. Due to the pyrolysis and gasification that are efficient procedures to achieve valuable products, gasification of OFMSW with different particle sizes and compositions was carried out in the presence of Ni and Ni-Ce-loaded Y-zeolite in a multizone tubular kiln reactor. During the experiments, 500°C was applied in the first reactor zone, while the 2nd zone was at an elevated temperature of 600°C or 900°C in the presence of steam. The combined pyrolysis and gasification experiments were also carried out without a catalyst with the same operating conditions. The feedstock was collected from the organic fraction of a Hungarian mechanical-biological treatment (MBT) plant and was separated into four different fractions based on particle size: <1 cm dry biomass and fine particles, 1-2 cm paper-rich, 2-6 cm paper and plastic-rich feedstocks, and <6 cm mixture of these fractions. During the experimental work, product yields; gaseous product composition; the ratio of H2/CO, CO2/CO, and CH4/CO; and lower heating value were determined in the function of feedstock composition, the applied temperature, and catalysts. It was found that the hydrogen content and H2/CO ratio of gaseous products were increased due to catalyst application and temperature elevation in the 2nd reactor zone. The addition of Ce to the Ni/Y-zeolite catalyst was advantageous in the case of hydrogen formation at a lower temperature (600°C). The hydrogen and methane content of products obtained from the catalytic pyrolysis-gasification of paper and plastic-rich OFMSWs on elevated temperatures were higher, which increased the lower heating value of those products. Based on the elemental analysis of the obtained solid residues, it was found that paper/plastic-rich feedstock released hydrogen and carbon with a higher extent. 1-2 cm feedstock-related solid residues had the highest H/C ratio which caused a 12.5-12.8 MJ/kg gross heating value. Currently, soft robots alone cannot obtain the same operating speed as rigid robots, while rigid robots are not safe enough for human-robot interaction. To address this problem, this paper describes a hybrid robot system that combines both rigid and flexible systems for unknown domain exploration. The system consists of a four-wheeled robot chassis and a cylindrical pneumatic soft actuator, and finally, a computer is used to coordinate and control both. The hardware of the robot system is designed, a bending motion model is proposed, and SOFA framework is used to carry out finite element simulation (FEM) to verify the reasonableness of the design; linear motion speeds of up to 0.5 m/s, higher than the existing soft robots investigated, were verified experimentally separately after carrying the new module, and steering ability was retained; and the robot carrying the navigation module is verified to have a certain map building and localization function through the construction of the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) experimental platform. Objective. The aim of this study was to examine the characteristics of scientific production related to the use of filtered water in the field of dentistry. Material and Methods. A quantitative and descriptive observational study was carried out with a scientometric approach. Data were collected from the Web of Science (WOS) database during the period January 1991 to December 2023. A search strategy incorporating a combination of MeSH terms, including terms and thesauri related to "filtered water" and "dentistry", was used. R Studio version 4.3.2 and CiteSpace 6.2.R7 were used for data analysis. Results. Over the 32-year study period, 227 scholarly papers from 134 different sources were reviewed. The literature in this field has shown an annual growth rate of 10.44%. During the year 2010, a steady movement in the number of publications and authors was observed, with considerable collaborative interaction. In the year 2020, a large interaction between publications and their citations was found. The "Citation Burst" graph identified three references that have experienced the largest "burst" of citations in an evaluated period. Lotka's law described the productivity of authors, finding that most authors have published only one paper, while a smaller number of authors have published two papers. Most authors contributed a small number of articles, while a few authors contributed a large amount of the existing literature. Conclusion. A comprehensive overview of the scientific production related to the use of filtered water in dentistry over a span of 32 years is provided. The results highlight the growing interdisciplinarity and international collaboration in this field. Aim. To systematically map and identify key knowledge on organizational support for nurses' career planning and development. Design. Scoping review. Methods. Systematic electronic searches were carried out with the CINAHL, PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases in May 2022. The searches were limited to scientific, peer-review papers that were published in English from January 2012 to May 2022. Data were extracted and synthetized and are presented in tables and text. The review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. Results. We identified 1,400 papers and 28 met the inclusion criteria. Organizations recognized nurses' career planning and development in relation to the individual's professional development and the organization's need to promote high-quality services and workforce engagement. The organizational support included strategic work to ensure there were adequate resources and purposeful vacancies and a structured framework based on objective qualification criteria and equal assessment. Organizations focused on sharing knowledge, structured career planning, and interpersonal support. Support within the nursing profession and multilayered interprofessional collaboration were also important. Conclusion. Nurses' career planning and development was linked to their personal development and the organization's aims and required support from both fellow nurses and other professionals. Implications for the Nursing Management. Identifying the organizational structures and methods that are needed to support nurses' career planning and development can help nursing management to evaluate and develop strategies that improve the attractiveness of a nursing career and nurses' engagement. Modelica is a very powerful language to simulate a very large set of systems, including electrical, thermal, mechanical, fluidic, control, and has already been used very extensively for several purposes, as the several Modelica conferences testify. Despite of this large literature, no paper seems to be available regarding the use of Modelica for real-time applications or hardware-in-the loop (HIL). This is a field where applications may be very fruitful. In this paper, the possibility of creating mixed software–hardware experiences (i.e., HIL), through combination of a Modelica program, the related simulation tool, a LabVIEW program, and the corresponding hardware is demonstrated. This demonstration is made using as an example a partial simulator of an electric vehicle running in a stand-alone PC, which communicates via User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets with another PC running the LabVIEW program, which in turn is physically connected with the hardware-under-test. Federated learning-based medical data privacy sharing can promote the development of medical industry intelligence, but limited by its own security and privacy deficiencies, federated learning still suffers from a single point of failure and privacy leakage of intermediate parameters. To address these problems, this paper proposes a privacy protection framework for medical data based on blockchain and cross-silo federated learning, using cross-silo federated learning to establish a collaborative training platform for multiple medical institutions to enhance the privacy of medical data, introducing blockchain and smart contracts to realize decentralized federated learning to enhance trust between distrustful medical institutions and solve the problem of a single point of failure. In addition, a secure aggregation scheme is designed using threshold homomorphic encryption to prevent the privacy leakage problem during parameter transmission. The experimental and analytical results show that the accuracy of this paper's scheme is consistent with the original federated learning scheme, effectively deals with the problems of single-point failure and inference attacks of federated learning, improves system robustness, and is suitable for medical scenarios with more stringent requirements on security and accuracy. Background. Lactobacillus acidophilus is lactic acid bacteria that produce bacteriocins. Bacteriocins are antimicrobial peptides or proteins that exhibit activity against closely related bacteria. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of L. acidophilus ATCC 4356 bacteriocin against Staphylococcus aureus. Material and Methods. We used four different phenotypic methods for antimicrobial activities against two standard strains: methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) ATCC 33591 and methicillin-susceptible S. aureus (MSSA) ATCC 25923. The methods were (1) agar well diffusion, (2) overlay soft agar, (3) paper disk, and (4) modification of punch hole. The ammonium sulfate method was used to concentrate crude bacteriocin, and ultrafiltration and dialysis tubes were used to remove ammonium sulfate from the bacteriocins. Each method was repeated in triplicate. Result. L. acidophilus ATCC 4356 showed antimicrobial activity against both MRSA and MSSA standard strains only by the overlay soft agar method and not by the agar well diffusion, punch hole modification, and paper disk methods. No antimicrobial effects were observed in crude bacteriocins concentrated. Conclusion. The growth inhibition of S. aureus in overlay soft agar method may be due to the production of bacteriocin-like substances. The overlay soft agar method is a qualitative test, so there is a need for further study to optimize the conditions for the production of bacteriocin-like substances in the culture supernatant and precise comparison between the inhibitory activity and pheromone secretion of different strains. Image advertising is widely used by companies to advertise their products and increase awareness of their brands. With the constant development of image generation techniques, automatic compositing of advertisement images has also been widely studied. However, the existing algorithms cannot synthesise consistent-looking advertisement images for a given product. The key challenge is to stitch a given product into a scene that matches the style of the product while maintaining a consistent-looking. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a new two-stage automatic advertisement image generation model, called Advertisement Synthesis Network (ASNet), which explores a two-stage generation framework to synthesise consistent-looking product advertisement images. Specifically, ASNet first generates a preliminary target product scene using Pre-Synthesis and then extracts scene features using Pseudo-Target Object Encoder (PTOE) and true target features using Real Target Object Encoder (RTOE), respectively. Finally, we inject the acquired features into the pretrained diffusion model and reconstruct them in the preliminary generated target goods scene. Extensive experiments have shown that the method achieves better results in all three performance metrics related to the quality of the synthesised image compared to other methods. In addition, we have done a simple and preliminary study on the effect of synthetic advertisement images on real consumers' purchase intention and brand perception. The results of the study show that the advertisement images synthesised by the model proposed in this paper have a positive impact on consumer purchase intention and brand perception. This paper focuses on the resource allocation problem of multiplexing two different service scenarios, enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) and ultrareliable low latency (URLLC) in 5G New Radio, based on dynamic numerology structure, mini-time slot scheduling, and puncturing to achieve optimal resource allocation. To obtain the optimal channel resource allocation under URLLC user constraints, this paper establishes a relevant channel model divided into two convex optimization problems: (a) eMBB resource allocation and (b) URLLC scheduling. We also determine the numerology values at the beginning of each time slot with the help of deep reinforcement learning to achieve flexible resource scheduling. The proposed algorithm is verified in simulation software, and the simulation results show that the dynamic selection of numerologies proposed in this paper can better improve the data transmission rate of eMBB users and reduce the latency of URLLC services compared with the fixed numerology scheme for the same URLLC packet arrival, while the reasonable resource allocation ensures the reliability of URLLC and eMBB communication. In a democratic regime, voting is crucial to making collective decisions. Unfortunately, although this activity has great significance and value, little effort has been made to improve the way we vote. Paper ballots are still the most used method, although this method is relatively simple, brings many inconveniences, and represents a contradiction to the modern world and its advances. This paper mostly focuses on a review study of blockchain-based voting systems. It aims at identifying the strategies and the guidelines as well as provides a comprehensive end-to-end electronic voting system based on blockchain, with the help of cryptographic techniques such as zero-knowledge proofs to improve privacy. The novelty of this paper is that we tackle the limitations of electronic voting systems found in the literature, including cost, identity management, and scalability problems. Transverse synchronization of vertical displacements of all jacking-up points is an important monitoring indicator to replace bearings in assembled multigirder bridges during the jacking phase. Currently, using target paper to identify the 3D coordinates of control points reduces the complexity of monitoring operations and improves the stability of data precision. However, the existing planar target locating methods have low accuracy, inefficiency, and subjectivity, which seriously hinders the construction process of bearing replacement. Accurately obtaining the center coordinates of multiple targets from a point cloud in a short monitoring period remains a challenge. This study proposes a high-precision automated algorithm to extract target center points in low-density point clouds to quickly calculate real target center points. First, we construct a standard point cloud model of the target papers for scanning, including color and geometric features. Then, we extract the measured point cloud of the typical jacking operation phase based on the reflection intensity and size information. Next, we map the intensity values of the measured point cloud into the color channel and register the measured point cloud with its standard point cloud model using the normal vector estimation and colored ICP algorithms. Finally, we extract the center point of the measured targets. Numerical experiments and engineering test results show that the proposed method converges quickly with high precision and good robustness, which saves 91.4% of the time compared with the traditional method. As a commonly used mode of transportation in people's daily lives, the normal operation of railway transportation is crucial. The track circuit, as a key component of the railway transportation system, is prone to malfunctions due to environmental factors. However, the current method of inspecting track circuit faults still relies on the experience of on-site personnel. In order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of fault diagnosis, we propose to establish an intelligent fault diagnosis system. Considering that the fault data are a one-dimensional time series, this paper presents a fault diagnosis method based on the UNet-LSTM network (ULN). The LSTM network is established on the basis of fault data and used for ZPW-2000A track circuit fault diagnosis. However, the use of a single LSTM network has a high error rate in the common fault diagnosis of track circuits. Therefore, this paper proposes a feature extraction method based on the UNet network. This method is used to extract the features of the original data and then input them into the LSTM network for fault diagnosis. Through experiments with on-site fault data, it has been verified that this method can accurately classify seven common track circuit faults. There is a lack of study on fault detection methods of medical equipment at home and abroad. The main reason is that the research of fault features is diverse and not systematic. This paper aims to propose a fault recognition method for medical equipment combining the electrical performance parameter features with fault events. First, it treats the equipment as a whole system, setting up the analysis model. Then, we are going to analyze the signal for indicator. This paper chooses the multi-index electrical performance parameters (MEPP) method for the fault identification an indicator. It is proved that the electrical performance signal can evaluate the status of equipment. Thus, it can also be used to recognize the fault or other working statuses. Then, the features of current, voltage, and power are studied exhaustively using a mathematical model. After that, the weight of each parameter feature in any specific event will be determined according to the influence of each parameter feature on fault events. At that time, the recognition method basically realizes the correlation between multi-index features and fault events through weight. Next, the above method needs to be verified in the experiment. This paper chooses six monitors for setting the rules of normal status. The normal status is the baseline for fault identification. Then, feature intervals of other faults are established around this reference. Finally, each feature interval will be constantly adjusted to meet the preset recognition rate and updated to the rules in the subsequent measurement. In this paper, 10 monitors are selected as samples to update a set of basic fault judgment rules based on MEPP, and by adjusting the overlapping interval, the fault recognition rate reaches more than 90% in this study. To sum up, this paper uses the MEPP method to find out the relationship of features of current, voltage, and power with fault events. Telephone triage services are becoming increasingly commonplace in modern healthcare. Despite this widespread adoption, health researchers and practitioners seeking to understand evidence-based best practice face several challenges. Firstly, the few systematic reviews available yield small sample sizes, suggesting a small amount of research. Secondly, the rapid pace of development of telephone triage technologies means that there may be temporal validity issues with the available research, given some of this research is relatively old. Thirdly, researchers use different terminologies to describe telephone triage, meaning evidence may be more difficult to find than if consistent terminology was used. This bibliometric analysis therefore is aimed at providing a macroscopic overview of telephone triage, to understand the scale and scope of the available evidence (i.e., where, when, and by whom research is conducted), for interested researchers and practitioners. Additionally, it is aimed at quantifying the prevalence of terms used to describe telephone triage, to recommend consistent terminology for future use, and to improve accessibility of research. To address these aims, literature searches using three different key terms: "telephone triage," "remote triage," and "teletriage" were conducted in Scopus and PubMed. Corresponding bibliometric data was visualised and analysed using VOSviewer. This bibliometric review identified 784 papers since the term "telephone triage" first appears in 1980, confirming a paucity of literature in the field. An overview of telephone triage research up to 2021 is provided, which should serve as a useful foundation for future research and application of evidence-based practice. Gaps in telephone triage research are identified, and the use of consistent terminology is encouraged, with the aim of supporting telephone triage researchers in determining research priorities and improving the impact of future studies. This paper proposes an anime audio retrieval method based on audio separation and feature recognition techniques, aiming to help users conveniently locate their desired audio segments and enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, by establishing an audio fingerprint database and a corresponding copyright information management system, it becomes possible to track and manage the audio content within anime, effectively preventing piracy and unauthorized use, thereby improving the management and protection of audio resources. Traditional methods for anime audio feature recognition suffer from issues like low efficiency and subjective factors. In contrast, the proposed approach overcomes these limitations by automatically separating and extracting audio fingerprints from different audio sources within anime and creating an anime audio fingerprint database for fast retrieval. The paper utilizes an improved audio separation model based on the efficient channel attention mechanism to separate the anime audio. Subsequently, feature recognition is performed on the separated anime audio, employing a contrastive learning-based audio fingerprint retrieval method for anime audio fingerprinting. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm effectively alleviates the issue of poor audio separation performance in anime audio, while also improving retrieval efficiency and accuracy, meeting the demands for anime audio content retrieval. Aiming at solving trajectory planning problem with complex distributed no-fly zone constraints, this paper proposed a novel obstacle avoidance strategy. For longitudinal motion, an angle of attack adjustment method is employed to adjust lift and design the angle of attack profile, while adjusting the bank angle for range and altitude correction to meet terminal constraints. For lateral motion, this paper developed enhanced attractive, repulsive, and velocity potential fields. Combined with the proposed repulsive force reconstruction method, this effectively resolves the overmaneuvering problem of traditional artificial potential field methods (APFMs) for vehicle. In order to avoid mismatched magnitudes of attractive and repulsive forces, a complementary no-fly zone avoidance strategy based on minimum turn radius is introduced, updating the bank angle command during no-fly zone avoidance. Simulation results indicate that the proposed strategy can address the avoidance of sudden threat, proving to be feasible and effective for handling complex distributed no-fly zone avoidance problems. Regional poverty is one of the most serious challenges facing the world today. Poverty, antipoverty, and poverty alleviation are the focus of the attention of scholars and the public. This paper takes China's counties as the research unit, selects the influencing factors of poverty from natural and socio-economic factors, establishes an evaluation index system, simulates the natural poverty index and socio-economic poverty eradication index of each county, and clarifies the distribution characteristics of spatial poverty using GIS spatial analysis and BP artificial neural network. The results indicate that natural factors are the main cause of poverty in Chinese counties, with 710 counties having a high natural poverty index, accounting for nearly 30% of the total number of counties in the country. The national county-level natural poverty index shows a clear strip distribution pattern along latitude and longitude, with a strip distribution from north to south and from west to east; socio-economic factors have played a certain role in poverty alleviation, with as many as 1521 counties with low socio-economic poverty alleviation indices, accounting for approximately 64% of the total number of counties in the country. The spatial distribution of the county-level socio-economic poverty alleviation index is relatively fragmented. Through spatial scanning statistics, a total of 44 county poverty pressure index risk clusters reached a statistical significance level, involving 243 counties and districts. In poverty reduction practice, the internal counties and districts of contiguous poverty-stricken areas should strengthen cooperation and exchange. In the process of poverty alleviation and development, targeted poverty alleviation and economic development should be carried out based on the poverty-dominant type and self-development ability of the county, in order to improve efficiency. Regions that are relatively prosperous and have taken the lead in poverty reduction should play a leading and exemplary role in strengthening the radiation power of regional central cities. The prominent feature of this study is the comprehensive utilization of multisource data and the use of new spatial analysis methods (flexible spatial scanning method is widely used in the field of infectious disease prevention and control research). By constructing a multidimensional poverty measurement system that includes natural and social factors, it distinguishes the differences between the factors that cause poverty and the factors that eliminate poverty in regional poverty. Uneven water-air media distribution or irregular liquid flow can cause changes in light propagation, leading to blurring and distortion of the extracted image, which presents a challenge for object recognition accuracy. To address these issues, this paper proposes a repair network to correct object image distortion in water-air cross-media. Firstly, convolutional combination performs feature extraction on water-air cross-media images, which retains the same features at the same scale and marks feature points with large differences. Then, an attention correction module for geometric lines is proposed to correct geometric lines in water-air cross-media images by comparing and sensing the marked feature points with large differences and utilizing the line similarity in positive and negative samples. Finally, the blurring artifact elimination module eliminates artifacts caused by image blurring and geometric line correction by using multiscale fusion of individual U-Net information streams. This completes the image restoration of object distortion under water-air cross-media. The proposed method is feasible and effective for restoring aberrated objects in water-air cross-media environments, with numerous experiments conducted on water-air cross-media image datasets. Farm biosecurity has gained increasing attention worldwide during the last decades because of its role in reducing the occurrence of diseases and improving animal performance. Recently, recommendations to reinforce the concept of farm biosecurity in lower- and middle-income countries have been advised. Therefore, this review aims to provide a comprehensive description of the methods and tools used to assess biosecurity compliance in livestock farms in Africa and formulate recommendations. The present review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis extension for scoping reviews guidelines. Peer-reviewed studies reporting biosecurity assessment in poultry, cattle, pig, goat, or sheep farms in Africa were included. Five databases were searched with no date restrictions. A total of 41 studies across 17 countries were finally selected. Selected studies were all published after 2008, and an increasing trend in the number of papers published per year was noticed. In total, 41 different methods for biosecurity assessment were found to be used in African countries, meaning that even within the same country, the same animal species, and the same farming system, different methods were utilized. In many papers, the methods used for biosecurity evaluation were poorly described. In addition, during the biosecurity assessment, measures related to the purchase of laying hens, egg transport and management, calves, calving and dairy management, and nursery units were almost not considered. These measures should be contemplated in future studies since they are related to important risk factors for the introduction and dissemination of infectious diseases. Interestingly, some measures not considered in European biosecurity tools were identified in the selected studies. The observed high difference in methods used may be due to the lack of regulations on biosecurity in African countries; therefore, the authors recommend the development and implementation of a harmonized and contextualized method for the assessment of biosecurity in livestock farms in Africa. To efficaciously manage risks in this dynamic landscape, stakeholders must implement comprehensive strategies that span stringent data protection legislation, extensive user education initiatives, and the deployment of robust authorization and authentication frameworks. In the process of long-term water flooding in the Gaoqian Southern Area with an average porosity of 30% and an average permeability of 1333.5 × 10 − 3 μm2, the fluid-solid interaction among oil, water, and rock has a great influence on the pore structure. It has resulted in changes in reservoir parameters with the extension of time. This paper used electron microscopy scanning, mercury injection, X-ray diffraction, physical properties, and oil-water relative permeability curves to study the variation of clay mineral content, pore throat structure, porosity, permeability, and relative permeability curves of high-permeability sandstone after high-pressure water flooding. The results showed that clay minerals such as montmorillonite and kaolinite were dissolved, hydrated, and migrated after long-term water flooding, which resulted in the decrease of clay mineral content in fine sandstone and medium sandstone, the increase of pore throat radius, and the decrease of displacement pressure, median pressure, and separation coefficient. The saturation of the isotonic point of the oil-water relative permeability curve was obviously shifted to the right, the hydrophilicity was significantly enhanced, and the porosity and permeability were effectively improved, but there was a blockage of the throat less than 2 μm in the fine sandstone. In addition, this paper established the equations of water injection, permeability, irreducible water saturation, residual oil saturation, and oil-water relative permeability curve coefficient and establishes the initial permeability model with the well data before water flooding. The logging interpretation results of development wells in the process of water flooding as verification data were used, and the relative error of permeability far lower than the general requirement of permeability error within an order of magnitude was less than 30%, which verified the rationality of the method. China, situated in the circum-Pacific seismic belt, experiences frequent seismic activity and faces diverse geological conditions, making structural stability of paramount importance, especially under seismic conditions. The majority of current earthquake generation methods do not consider the nonstationary nature of earthquakes. This paper introduces a spectral representation-random function model for generating nonstationary earthquakes, effectively simulating stochastic seismic ground motion. Furthermore, traditional slope stability analysis methods are deterministic and incapable of providing probabilistic assessments of slope instability. Therefore, this paper proposes a unified framework for static and dynamic structural reliability analysis based on the direct probability integration method, quantifying the impact of stochastic seismic ground motion on the dynamic reliability of slope stability. Finally, the proposed methods are applied to an excavation slope in Nanjing, using sliding displacement and safety factors as evaluation criteria to study the reliability of the slope under the influence of stochastic seismic events. Meat is a widely consumed food globally; however, variations in storage conditions along its supply chain can pose a potential food safety risk for consumers. Addressing this concern, we have developed freshness indicators designed to monitor the condition of packaged chicken. In this study, anthocyanins were infused with cellulose paper measuring 2 × 2 cm, and subsequent analysis focused on examining color changes concerning deteriorating chicken stored at 30°C for 48 h, with varying sample sizes being considered. The rise in total volatile nitrogen (TVB-N) compounds from an initial value of 3.64 ± 0.39 mg/100 g to 28.17 ± 1.46 mg/100 g acted as the stimulus for the color change in the indicator, simultaneously influencing the pH from the initial 7.03 ± 0.16 to 8.12 ± 0.39. The microbial load (aerobic plate count) of the chicken samples was also significantly increased. This collective shift in various parameters strongly suggests the occurrence of spoilage in chicken meat. The pH indicators exhibited a dark pink to red color for fresh chicken. As the chicken meat turned towards spoilage, the indicators changed to a dark blue and then a pale green color. FTIR spectroscopy results confirmed the presence of cellulose and anthocyanins. The FTIR analysis also validated the immobilization of plum anthocyanins within the cellulose paper and assessed their stability after 8 months of storage. Notably, the indicators demonstrated rapid sensitivity, showing a 20.5% response within one minute of ammonia exposure, which further increased to 29.5% after 3 min of exposure. The total color difference (ΔE) steadily rose in all the examined samples and also under various storage conditions. Overall, the indicators developed in this study exhibited a highly pronounced color transition, capable of distinguishing between fresh and spoiled chicken samples depending on the extent of spoilage and the specific day of observation. Sustainable concepts for on-demand transportation, such as ridesharing or ridehailing, require advanced technologies and novel dynamic planning and prediction methods. In this paper, we consider the prediction of taxi trip durations, focusing on the problem of the estimated time of arrival (ETA). ETA can be used to compute and compare alternative taxi schedules and to provide information to drivers and passengers. To solve the underlying hard computational problem with high precision, machine learning (ML) models for ETA are the state of the art. However, these models are mostly black box neural networks. Hence, the resulting predictions are difficult to explain to users. To address this problem, the contributions of this paper are threefold. First, we propose a novel stacked two-level ensemble model combining multiple ETA models; we show that the stacked model outperforms state-of-the-art ML models. However, the complex ensemble architecture makes the resulting predictions less transparent. To alleviate this, we investigate explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) methods for explaining the first- and second-level models of the ensemble. Third, we consider and compare different ways of combining first-level and second-level explanations. This novel concept enables us to explain stacked ensembles for regression tasks. Aiming at the sound source localization of mechanical faults in a strong reverberation scenario with multiple sound sources, this paper investigates a mechanical fault source localization method using the U-net deep convolutional neural network. The method utilizes the SRP-PHAT algorithm to calculate the response power spectra of the collected multichannel fault signals. Through the utilization of the U-net neural network, the response power spectra containing spurious peaks are transformed into "clean" estimated source distribution maps. By employing interpolation search, the estimated source distribution maps are processed to obtain location estimations for multiple fault sources. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, this paper constructs an experimental dataset using mechanical fault data from electromechanical equipment relays and conducts sound source localization experiments. The experimental results show that the U-net network under 0.2 s/0.5 s/0.7 s reverberation time can effectively eliminate spurious peak interference in the response power spectrum. As the signal-to-noise ratio decreases, it can still distinguish the sound sources with a distance of 0.2 m. In the context of multifault source localization, the method is capable of simultaneously locating the positions of four fault sources, with an average localization error of less than 0.02 m. The method in this paper effectively eliminates spurious peaks in the response power spectra under conditions of multisource strong reverberation. The rapid development of mobile Internet has promoted the rapid rise of cloud computing technology. Mobile terminal devices have greatly expanded the service capacity of mobile terminals by migrating complex computing tasks to run in the cloud. However, in the process of data exchange between mobile terminals and cloud computing centers, on the one hand, it consumes the limited power of mobile terminals, and on the other hand, it results in longer communication time, which negatively affects user QoE. Mobile cloud can effectively improve user QoE by shortening the data transmission distance, reducing the power consumption, and shortening the communication time at the same time. In this paper, we utilize the property that genetic algorithm can perform global search seeking the global optimal solution and construct a dynamic task scheduling model by combining the device-cloud link. The task scheduling model based on genetic algorithm and random scheduling algorithm is compared through comparison experiments, which show that the assignment time of the task scheduling model based on genetic algorithm is shortened by 11.82% to 48.51% and the energy consumption is reduced by 22.28% to 47.52% under different load conditions. In order to deeply analyze and explore the current research status and development trends in the field of global value chains, this article conducted a systematic and quantitative study on the global value chain. Based on the Web of Science Core Collection SCIE and SSCI databases, this article searched 8273 articles published between 2001 and 2021 with the theme of "Global Value Chain" and used visualization and bibliometric analysis methods. The research field was analyzed using VOSviewer software. Research has shown that the number of papers published in the global value chain field has been continuously increasing over time and has entered a period of rapid development since 2016. The main disciplines are economics and management. A few researchers and research institutions have a strong influence, but the cooperation between scholars and institutions is relatively weak. The United States, the United Kingdom, and China dominate the research field. The complex impact of the natural environment and public health on the global value chain, and the impact of big data and artificial intelligence on the global value chain, has become a new direction for future research. Why Hydrogen. Nowadays, the energy industry and research laboratories are heavily working on developing ideas and methods to reduce and/or eliminate the carbon dioxide emission to control the problem of global warming. The solution relies on finding alternative green energy resources to reduce the world's dependence on conventional fossil hydrocarbon energy. Green hydrogen gas from water stands on the top of the alternative resources since it does not produce carbon dioxide when burned and in return does not add to global warming. Since seawater is the largest resource on earth, this makes the hydrogen production from seawater the most economically attractive solution. It is very important to avoid using fresh water as a source of hydrogen energy due to the dependence of all living creatures, humans, animals, plants, etc., on such very limited resources. In this paper, the applications of the proposed novel solution of green hydrogen production directly from seawater relies on solving one of the major problems, electrode corrosion. Generating Hydrogen. The direct method to produce green hydrogen from seawater is the electrolysis technique. This technique requires a direct current power supply for the positive and the negative electrodes. The outcome of the electrolysis is decomposing the saltwater to its positively charged hydrogen and sodium ions at the negative electrode and its negatively charged oxygen and chlorine ions at the positive electrode. The Real Challenge. Traditionally in the electrolysis analysis of water, both electrodes are made of metals. At the positive electrode, both the oxygen and the chlorine cause a high rate of corrosion to that electrode. This results in the interruption of the electrolysis process, bad water condition due to the corrosion deposits, and cost burden due to the need to periodically replace the corroded electrodes and/or use high-cost corrosion-resistant alloys. The Novel Solution. A low-cost but powerful solution to the corrosion problem is introduced, tested, and experimentally proved. The novelty of the solution relies on replacing the classic special high-cost metallic positive electrode with a nonmetallic, no-cost, one. The nonmetallic electrode is made of surface rock portions that have high porosity and pore volume and high permeability and pore connectivity and is saturated with saline water. Surface rocks with the above properties exhibit very low resistivity and hence conduct electricity like metallic electrodes. The voltage and the current conducted by such electrode are controlled by the electrode geometry, connectivity, and physical properties. Results and Discussions. Multiple experiments using the proposed nonmetallic high-porosity and high-permeability positive electrode are conducted and presented in this paper. The experimental work is based on testing multiple rock electrodes with different rock properties, sizes, and connectivity in comparison to the metallic ones. As network technology advances and more people use devices, data storage has become a significant challenge due to the explosive growth of information and the threat of data leaks. In traditional medical institutions, most medical data is stored centrally through cloud computing technology in the institution's data center. This centralized storage method has many security risks, and once the central server is attacked, it will lead to the loss of medical data, which will lead to the leakage of patients' private data. At the same time, electronic medical records are the most critical data in the current medical field. In the traditional centralized healthcare service system (HSS), there are data leakage problems and tampering with electronic medical records due to human factors. At the same time, each hospital is built independently, resulting in the current centralized healthcare service system having a data silo problem, making it difficult to share medical data between institutions securely. With the increase in the number of users in the system, the electronic medical record data in the system also increases gradually, resulting in the increasing overhead of decryption calculation. Therefore, this paper proposes a blockchain-based access control scheme with multiparty authorization to ensure the security of electronic medical records. The scheme uses an SM encryption algorithm to encrypt the medical data in the system. It adds the patient's signature to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data, and the encrypted electronic medical records (EMRs) are stored in the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to realize the distributed storage of EMR. In addition, role-based multiauthorization access control is implemented through smart contract-based to ensure the security of EMR. We have analyzed the security of this paper's solution and compared its performance with the existing schemes based on other cryptographic algorithms. Connected and automated vehicle platoons (CAVPs) are considered an effective way to alleviate traffic congestion, reduce the incidence of traffic accidents, and improve vehicle economy in the intelligent transportation system (ITS). Vehicles in the CAVPs can communicate with each other through V2X technology, which could optimize the economy of the platoon. Cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC) can make effective use of the characteristics of CAVPs and contribute to resource conservation, ecological driving, and traffic system development. In this paper, a two-stage CACC method is proposed for CAVPs to reduce fuel consumption in the multislope road section. In the first stage, the optimal velocity profiles for the leader based on dynamic programming (DP) are planned according to the road information and the fuel consumption model. In the second stage, a vehicle longitudinal third-order differential dynamics model is utilized to build the platoon time-delay system considering communication delay and actuator delay. A feedback controller is developed for each vehicle considering the internal stability and the string stability of the CAVPs. Results show that the proposed method can save 5.33% of fuel consumption compared to the constant speed cooperative adaptive cruise control (CS-CACC) method and has a better tracking performance compared to the model predictive control (MPC) method. Objective. Wireless sensor networks, crucial for various applications, face growing security challenges due to the escalating complexity and diversity of attack behaviours. This paper presents an advanced intrusion detection algorithm, leveraging feature-weighted Naive Bayes (NB), to enhance network attack detection accuracy. Methodology. Initially, a feature weighting algorithm is introduced to assign context-based weights to different feature terms. Subsequently, the NB algorithm is enhanced by incorporating Jensen–Shannon (JS) divergence, feature weighting, and inverse category frequency (ICF). Eventually, the improved NB algorithm is integrated into the intrusion detection model, and network event classification results are derived through a series of data processing steps applied to corresponding network traffic data. Results. The effectiveness of the proposed intrusion detection algorithm is evaluated through a comprehensive comparative analysis using the NSL-KDD dataset. Results demonstrate a significant enhancement in the detection accuracy of various attack types, including normal, denial of service (DoS), probe, remote-to-local (R2L), and user-to-root (U2R). Moreover, the proposed algorithm exhibits a lower false alarm rate compared to other algorithms. Conclusion. This paper introduces a wireless network intrusion algorithm that not only ensures improved detection accuracy and rate but also reduces the incidence of false detections. This paper presents the design of a frequency-tunable substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) band-reject filter, specifically for spectrum underlay cognitive radio operation. The proposed filter has a simple tuning circuit but provides a wide frequency tuning range from 2.9 to 4.4 GHz (41%). The second resonant mode has been suppressed using a simple quadrature coupling; hence, the fundamental mode bandwidth of the filter has been increased from 2.08 GHz to 3.36 GHz. Due to its wide tuning range, simple tuning circuit, and increased fundamental mode bandwidth, the proposed filter is greatly important in underlay cognitive radio construction. The second-order filter has also been developed, and its performance is analyzed with both simulation and measurement. It gives a tunable bandwidth of 41%, an insertion loss of more than 10 dB, and a fundamental mode bandwidth of 3.36 GHz. The filter performance is also analyzed after connecting it to the standard horn antenna. This paper presents a Laplace transform model for an urban tunnel ventilation system. This model allows one to witness higher performance for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) in terms of monitoring and control of an urban area tunnel based on measurement systems. This proposed model illustrates the ventilation control system framework as well as the emergency response system for urban area tunnels such that smoother controllability and higher security in the operation of tunnels can be envisioned. The salient contributions of this work can be stated as a novel method for modeling tunnel ventilation systems and the implementation of an emergency response plan for a futuristic intelligent transportation system. The simulation results exhibit that the proposed model outperforms the ventilation system in the high-density traffic jams and further the efficient operation of the tunnel. Likewise, comparison results and experimental results are addressed to emphasize the validation of this method and to be helpful in proving the reliability of the results obtained in this study. In this paper, by using Poisson distribution probability, some characteristics of analytic multivalent q -symmetric starlike and q -symmetric convex functions of order η are examined. Then, by utilizing the Poisson distribution and the concept of the q -analogue Salagean integral operator, the p -valent convergence polynomial was introduced. Furthermore, a number of subclasses of analytic symmetric p -valent functions linked to novel polynomials are also deduced. After that, specific coefficient constraints are determined and symmetric δ , q -neighborhoods for p -valent functions are defined. The current methods for detecting joints on tunnel face rely primarily on manual sketches, which are associated with issues of low detection efficiency and subjectivity. To address these concerns, this paper presents an intelligent recognition and segmentation algorithm based on Mask R-CNN (mask region-based convolutional neural network) for detecting joint targets on tunnel face images and automatically segmenting them, thereby improving detection efficiency and objectivity of the results. Additionally, to tackle the challenge of low detection accuracy in existing image processing methods, particularly for complex tunnel joint surfaces in dark environments, the paper introduces a path aggregation network (PANet) to enhance the fusion capability of feature information in Mask R-CNN, thereby improving the accuracy of the intelligent detection method. The algorithm was trained on a dataset of 800 tunnel face images, and the research findings demonstrate that it can quickly detect the position of joints on tunnel face images and assign masks to the joint pixel regions to achieve joint segmentation. The mean average precision (mAP) of the detection boxes and segmentation in the 80 test set images were 58.0% and 49.2%, respectively, which outperforms the original Mask R-CNN algorithm and other intelligent recognition and segmentation algorithms. This paper explores the need for establishing a microwave link between Bahir Dar and Woretta as an alternative communication solution to the existing optical fiber infrastructure. Microwave links offer an effective way to overcome challenges posed by rugged terrains and unfavorable environmental conditions that hinder the deployment of fiber optics. As Woretta emerges as a key economic and investment hub within the Amhara Region, demand for reliable and efficient communication is expected to grow significantly. The study encompasses various aspects of planning and designing the microwave link, including site surveys, consideration of fade margins, frequency planning, link budget calculations, and assessing the feasibility and reliability of the proposed link. The paper employs LINKPlanner 5.4.1 software to simulate and validate the results. Due to terrain constraints, a direct link between Bahir Dar and Woretta is not feasible. Instead, a two-hop link is proposed, involving transmission from Bahir Dar to Zege, and then from Zege to Woretta. The proliferation of computer viruses has escalated in recent years, posing threats not only to individuals' safety and property but also to societal well-being. Consequently, effectively curtailing virus spread has become an urgent imperative. To address this issue, our paper introduces a new virus propagation model and associated control strategy. First, diverging from conventional approaches in network virus literature, we propose a susceptible-latent-breaking-out-recovered-susceptible (SLBRS) virus propagation model tailored to the topological characteristics of scale-free networks, thus comprehensively incorporating network structure's impact on virus propagation. Second, we analyze the model's foundational properties, derive the basic reproduction number, and demonstrate the existence and global asymptotic stability of disease-free equilibrium. Finally, leveraging global stability of the model at the disease-free equilibrium, we integrate the target immunization strategy (TIS) and the acquaintance immunization strategy (AIS) to devise an optimal control strategy. The paper's findings offer fresh insights into disease-free equilibrium existence and stability, furnishing a more dependable approach to curbing network virus dissemination. The simulation results demonstrate the persistent presence of network viruses in the absence of control measures and the instability of the disease-free equilibrium. Optimal sizing and management of hybrid wind turbine-diesel-battery system for reverse osmosis seawater desalination in NEOM city is the objective of the paper. Therefore, the paper explored the different factors to optimize and introduce a technoeconomic evaluation and energy management of a stand-alone wind turbine (WT) system, diesel generator (DG), and battery storage (BS). The suggested WT/DG/BS system is implemented to feed seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) unit in NEOM. The necessitated desalinated water per day is 100 m3. To determine the optimal size of WT/DG/BS corresponding to the minimum cost of energy (COE) and net present cost, two different ratings of the SWRO units (SWRO-100 and SWRO-150), three control dispatch strategies (load following, cycle charging, and combined dispatch), and five types of batteries are considered. HOMER software is performed to simulate and optimize the WT/DG/BS. The optimization results indicated that the best battery storage is the Trojan SAGM battery. In this case, the COE ranged between $0.337/kWh and $0.564/kWh. The lowest COE of $0.377/kWh is obtained when using a combined control strategy and SWRO-100 unit, whereas the worst COE of $0.564/kWh is obtained when using load following control strategy and SWRO-150 unit. The best option of the WT/DG/BS system to supply the SWRO unit is option number 26. This system includes one wind turbine of 90 kW, DG of 25 kW, 47 Trojan SAGM batteries, a 23.8 kW converter, a SWRO-100 unit, and a combined control strategy. The net present cost and the initial cost are $950,725 and $221,495, respectively. The annual operating cost and annual consumed fuel are $56,409 and 36,396 L, respectively. Compared with using only a 25 kW diesel generator, the COE reduced from $0.373/kWh (using only DG/BS) to $0.337/kWh (using the best option) by around 9.65%. Primarily generated at the interface between the wheel and the rail, railroad vibrations then propagate through the supporting soil. If these vibrations reach nearby bridges and buildings, they amplify the vibration nuisance and cause ground noise, which has detrimental effects on nearby residents, sensitive equipment, and historic structures. By analyzing measured data from metro vibration field vibration experiments, this article attempts to contribute to the body of knowledge on environmental vibration propagation patterns by offering insightful conclusions. Before analyzing the deformation response of the metro jet system (MJS) vibration isolation piles to the structure and the ground, we investigated the effect of MJS vibration isolation piles in the ground of the existing subway tunnel structure on the control of vibration of the proximate structure and conducted dynamic tests on the vibration of bridges without vibration isolation measures caused by operating subway trains. The tests determined that the acceleration of the bridge's lateral vibration exceeded the code limit; one of the contributing factors was that the bridge's structure had already sustained damage. The utilization of MJS isolation piles was also discovered to safeguard the extant bridge pile foundations. The paper presents an innovation in the form of economically viable vibration mitigation strategies that were implemented subsequent to the identification that the lateral vibration acceleration of the preexisting bridge surpassed the prescribed code standards. This paper presents research on the use of anisogrid lattice structures in fighter wing applications. While the anisogrid lattice structure has been widely used in spacecraft structures, its implementation in main aircraft structures is still limited. The study is aimed at investigating the feasibility of utilizing an anisogrid lattice structure in fighter wing design. The analysis and optimization focus on determining the optimal weight of the composite wing structure, considering static, buckling, and flutter failure constraints. Various lift distributions, including triangular, Schrenk, and constant, are applied to evaluate the structure's response to static failure caused by aerodynamic loads. The anisogrid structure design incorporates inclined lattice elements between ribs and spars, with spar arrangement in the wing box featuring an anisogrid configuration. The anisogrid lattice structure is expected to produce higher bending and torsional stiffness compared to conventional orthogonal structures, producing better flutter and buckling characteristics. The optimized wing structure successfully meets static, buckling, and flutter load requirements at speeds below 500 m/s. The study showcases triangular, Schrenk, and constant load distributions resulting in half-wing masses of 504, 571, and 707 kg, respectively. The extraction algorithm of target characteristics resonance set at the high-frequency band plays a significant role in defense applications like early warning. The paper proposes a new method to extract the characteristic resonance set of radar targets in the resonance frequency region using an autoregressive moving average model optimized by root mean square propagation particle swarm optimization. Considering that the total scattering response in the resonant region consists of early-time and late-time responses, the autoregressive moving average model approximate the total scattering responses to avoid errors caused by intercepting the late-time response. Further, the paper investigated the impact of the swarm optimization algorithm on the accuracy of moving average model parameters when obtaining the resonance set at different target aspects. The extracted characteristic resonance results within a range of azimuth directions through an aircraft target paradigm indicate that the new method is more convenient and precise than the matrix beam prediction method. Fake news has been linked to the rise of psychological disorders, the increased disbelief in science, and the erosion of democracy and freedom of speech. Online social networks are arguably the main vehicle of fake news spread. Educating online users with explanations is one way of preventing this spread. Understanding how online belief is formed and changed may offer a roadmap for such education. The literature includes surveys addressing online opinion formation and polarization; however, they usually address a single domain, such as politics, online marketing, health, and education, and do not make online belief change their primary focus. Unlike other studies, this work is the first to present a cross-domain systematic literature review of user studies, methodologies, and opinion model dimensions. It also includes the orthogonal polarization dimension, focusing on online belief change. We include peer-reviewed works published in 2020 and later found in four relevant scientific databases, excluding theoretical publications that did not offer validation through dataset experimentation or simulation. Bibliometric networks were constructed for better visualization, leading to the organization of the papers that passed the review criteria into a comprehensive taxonomy. Our findings show that a person's individuality is the most significant influential force in online belief change. We show that online arguments that balance facts with emotionally evoking content are more efficient in changing their beliefs. Polarization was shown to be cross-correlated among multiple subjects, with politics being the central polarization pole. Polarized online networks start as networks with high opinion segregation, evolve into subnetworks of consensus, and achieve polarization around social network influencers. Trust in the information source was demonstrated to be the chief psychological construct that drives online users to polarization. This shows that changing the beliefs of influencers may create a positive snowball effect in changing the beliefs of polarized online social network users.
