In recent years, the increasing demand for vibration control has driven the development of viscous damping isolators, and there have been many attempts to apply the shear thickening fluid (STF) system to vibration control to achieve customized damping property according to different application requirements. Previous studies on the performance of STF-based isolators have observed a peculiar "collapse" phenomenon, but researchers have no clear explanation for the mechanism causing this unfavorable phenomenon. The main focus of this work is to explore the nonlinear characteristics and mechanism of STF-based isolators, especially for introducing a novel carbon fiber powder STF system (CFP-STF). The damping mechanism of the CFP-STF isolator is theoretically derived based on Poiseuille's law, the governing equations of arbitrary rheology are solved and demonstrated in details, and the theoretical model is established for multi-scale analysis under multi-frequency loading. To explore the influence of each parameter on the damping coefficient/force–displacement-velocity relationship, attention is paid to the initial viscosity and peak viscosity of the CFP-STF system, and as a result the concept of damping coefficient decrease rate is proposed in this paper. The results show that the the new CFP-STF isolator avoids the "collapse" phenomenon of the force–displacement hysteresis curve at high frequencies, where the damping force does not decrease and the mechanical dissipation tends to increase linearly after the threshold is exceeded, since the viscosity decreases more slowly than the velocity increases with increasing frequency. In addition to higher-order executive functions, underlying sensory processing ability is also thought to play an important role in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). An event-related potential feature, the mismatch negativity, reflects the ability of automatic sensory change processing and may be correlated with AD/HD symptoms and executive functions. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of visual mismatch negativity (vMMN) in adults with AD/HD. Twenty eight adults with AD/HD and 31 healthy controls were included in this study. These two groups were matched in age, IQ and sex. In addition, both groups completed psychiatric evaluations, a visual ERP task used to elicit vMMN, and psychological measures about AD/HD symptoms and day-to-day executive functions. Compared to trols, the late vMMN (230–330 ms) was significantly reduced in the AD/HD group. Correlation analyses showed that late vMMN was correlated with executive functions but not AD/HD symptoms. However, further mediation analyses showed that different executive functions had mediated the relationships between late vMMN and AD/HD symptoms. Our findings indicate that the late vMMN, reflecting automatic sensory change processing ability, was impaired in adults with AD/HD. Emergency ambulance dispatches (EAD) have been proven to be associated with ambient particulate matter with diameter < 2.5 μm (PM2.5) concentration, but the associations of circulatory EAD remained inconclusive, especially in heavily polluted areas. In this time series conducted in Shenyang City, Northeastern China, we explored the associations between circulatory EAD and ambient PM2.5 and its constituents. Data including 113,508 circulatory EAD records, five types of PM2.5 constituents, and meteorological information spanning from 2014 to 2019 were retrieved. Using generalized additive models (GAMs), we explored the association between circulatory EAD and calculated excess risks induced by a 10 μg/m3 increase (ERR10) in PM2.5 mass and its constituents. ERR by percentage change (ERRpc) to compare among the different constituents were also calculated. Positive associations between circulatory EAD and PM2.5 mass, sulfates, organic matters, and black carbon, were found particularly at lag0 and lag0-5, with the ERR10 of 3.8% (3.2%–4.4%), 6.5% (2.2%–10.8%), 4.2% (1.7%–6.6%), and 30.2% (17.2%–43.4%) at lag0-5, respectively. Similar associations were observed for cardiovascular EAD, while cerebrovascular EAD suggested a positive association with O3 rather than PM2.5 or its constituents. Notably, PM2.5 mass exhibited the largest ERRpc for circulatory and cardiovascular EAD, followed by sulfates and black carbon. Moreover, the risks were enhanced for circulatory and cardiovascular EAD in males compared to females and during warmer seasons compared to colder seasons. Summary: The study found that in osteoporosis patients who had not previously received bisphosphonate treatment and were in a treatment cycle of over 12 months, both teriparatide and denosumab significantly increased bone mineral density compared to bisphosphonates. Additionally, teriparatide was also shown to significantly decrease the risk of fractures. Objective: The systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess and compare the safety and efficacy of teriparatide vs. bisphosphonates and denosumab vs. bisphosphonates in patients with osteoporosis who had not previously received bisphosphonates. Methods: We conducted a search of published literature from inception to May 31, 2023, including databases such as PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CNKI, SinoMed, VIP, and WanFang. The study only included head-to-head randomized controlled trials (RCTs) that compared teriparatide and denosumab with bisphosphonates to treat patients with osteoporosis. Fixed-effect model and random-effect model were used due to clinical heterogeneity. Meta-analysis was performed via Stata 17.0. Results: A total of 6680 patients were enrolled across 23 eligible trials. The results of the meta-analysis showed that teriparatide was superior to bisphosphonates in decreasing the risk of fracture (risk ratio (RR) = 0.61, 95% confidence interval (CI) (0.51, 0.74), P < 0.001). Denosumab showed no benefit compared to bisphosphonates in reducing the risk of fracture in treating osteoporosis (RR 0.99, 95% CI (0.62, 1.57), P = 0.96). Compared with bisphosphonates, teriparatide and denosumab could significantly improve femoral neck, total hip, and lumbar spine bone mineral density (BMD) (P < 0.05). Furthermore, teriparatide and denosumab did not increase the incidence of adverse events (teriparatide vs. bisphosphonates, RR 0.92, 95% CI (0.79, 1.08), P = 0.32; denosumab vs. bisphosphonates, RR 0.98, 95% CI (0.95, 1.02), P = 0.37). Conclusions: Teriparatide is superior to bisphosphonates in decreasing the risk of fracture in patients with osteoporosis. In this study, the abrasive impact wear behaviour of a bimetal composite made of medium manganese steels (MMSs) and low carbon steels (LCSs), i.e., the Mn8/SS400 bimetal composite, was investigated using a newly designed wear-testing rig. The need for a new rig arose from the difficulty in replicating real-world wear conditions. Our rig allows for precise control and measurement of wear, simulating harsh environments more accurately than other wear-testing rigs. The bimetal composite Mn8/SS400 demonstrated superior wear resistance, showing an improvement of up to 2.8 times compared to benchmark steels, attributed to its enhanced work hardening sensitivity. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) analyses were employed to elucidate the wear mechanisms. After 300 h of abrasive impact wear, the subsurface microhardness of Mn8 reached 601.31 HV, significantly higher than that of the matrix hardness of 292.24 HV, indicating a substantial work hardening effect. The wear mechanism of the Mn8/SS400 bimetal composite was found to be a synergistic effect of grain refinement strengthening, dislocation strengthening, and twin strengthening. Initially, twin strengthening was the dominant mechanism up to 200 h of wear testing. Objective: Accumulating studies reported the crucial roles of tRFs in tumorigenesis. However, their further mechanisms and clinical values remains unclear. This study aimed at the further investigation of tRF-Leu in breast cancer chemotherapy resistance. Methods: The high-throughput sequencing was performed and identified the downregulation of tRF-Leu in MCF7/ADR cells. The function of tRF-Leu in breast cancer cells and breast cancer chemotherapy resistance was investigated in vitro and in vivo, including colony formation assay, CCK-8 assay, transwell assay and apoptosis assay. The binding site of tRF-Leu on BIRC5 was verified by dual-luciferase assay. Results: tRF-Leu was downregulated in MCF7/ADR cells. Overexpression of tRF-Leu inhibited the migration of breast cancer cells. Furthermore, tRF-Leu could reverse the resistance of MCF7/ADR cells to Adriamycin both in vitro and in vivo. BIRC5 was a target of tRF-Leu, which might be involved in the chemotherapy resistance regulation. Conclusion: We demonstrated that tRF-Leu could inhibit the chemotherapy resistance of breast cancer by targeting BIRC5. Link prediction typically studies the probability of future interconnection among nodes with the observation in a single social network. More often than not, real scenario is presented as a multiplex network with common (anchor) users active in multiple social networks. In the literature, most existing works study either the intra-link prediction in a single network or inter-link prediction among networks (a.k.a. network alignment), and consider two learning tasks are independent from each other, which is still away from the fact. On the representation space, the vast majority of existing methods are built upon the traditional Euclidean space, unaware of the inherent geometry of social networks. The third issue is on the scarce anchor users. Annotating anchor users is laborious and expensive, and thus it is impractical to work with quantities of anchor users. Herein, in light of the issues above, we propose to study a challenging yet practical problem of Geometry-aware Collective Link Prediction across Multiplex Network. To address this problem, we present a novel contrastive model, RCoCo, which collaborates intra- and inter-network behaviors in Riemannian spaces. In RCoCo, we design a curvature-aware graph attention network (κ -GAT), conducting attention mechanism in Riemannian manifold whose curvature is estimated by the Ricci curvatures over the network. Thereafter, we formulate intra- and inter-contrastive loss in the manifolds, in which we augment graphs by exploring the high-order structure of community and information transfer on anchor users. Behavioral studies play a crucial role in unraveling the mechanisms underlying brain function. Recent advances in optogenetics, neuronal typing and labeling, and circuit tracing have facilitated the dissection of the neural circuitry involved in various important behaviors. The identification of monosynaptic connections, both upstream and downstream of specific neurons, serves as the foundation for understanding complex neural circuits and studying behavioral mechanisms. However, the practical implementation and mechanistic understanding of monosynaptic connection tracing techniques and functional identification remain challenging, particularly for inexperienced researchers. Improper application of these methods and misinterpretation of results can impede experimental progress and lead to erroneous conclusions. Background: Ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunts are commonly used for managing hydrocephalus, with mechanical dysfunction being the most common cause of complications that require revision. A VP shunt placed using a real-time three-dimensional (3D) robotic C-arm navigation system may have better outcomes and fewer complications. Methods: In this technical note, we introduced the workflow of the use of the real-time 3D robotic C-arm navigation system for ventriculoperitoneal shunting. Conclusion: The real-time 3D robotic C-arm can provide a more precise approach to the target. We have found that the unique particle properties of fly ash can be applied to the modification of shear thickening fluid. In this paper, rheological properties and microscopic thickening mechanism of fly ash/silicon-based shear thickening fluid (subsequently abbreviated as FA/SiO2-STF) are studied. Ultrasonic technology and mechanical stirring method were used to prepare FA/SiO2-STF with different mass fractions of fly ash, and then rheometer was used to carry out steady-state rheological testing for FA/SiO2-STF, and 4%FA/SiO2-STF dynamic rheological test and temperature sensitivity testing, respectively. The thickening mechanism of FA/SiO2-STF was analyzed by scanning electron microscope. The rheological test results show that the FA/SiO2-STF with 4% fly ash content exhibits remarkable shear thickening effect. Finally, the relationship between the viscosity and shear rate of FA/SiO2-STF is numerically described by a mathematical model, which can accurately reflect the viscosity thickening effect. Background: Liver transplantation (LT) has been proposed as a viable treatment option for selected methylmalonic acidemia (MMA) patients. However, there are still controversies regarding the therapeutic value of LT for MMA. The systematic assessment of health-related quality of life (HRQoL)-targeted MMA children before and after LT is also undetermined. This study aimed to comprehensively assess the long-term impact of LT on MMA, including multiorgan sequelae and HRQoL in children and families. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated 15 isolated MMA patients undergoing LT at our institution between June 2013 and March 2022. Pre- and post-transplant data were compared, including metabolic profiles, neurologic consequences, growth parameters, and HRQoL. To further assess the characteristics of the HRQoL outcomes in MMA, we compared the results with those of children with biliary atresia (BA). Results: All patients had early onset MMA, and underwent LT at a mean age of 4.3 years. During 1.3–8.2 years of follow-up, the patient and graft survival rates were 100%. Metabolic stability was achieved in all patients with liberalized dietary protein intake. There was a significant overall improvement in height Z scores (P = 0.0047), and some preexisting neurological complications remained stable or even improved after LT. On the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL™) generic core scales, the mean total, physical health, and psychosocial health scores improved significantly posttransplant (P < 0.05). In the family impact module, higher mean scores were noted for all subscales post-LT, especially family function and daily activities (P < 0.01). However, the total scores on the generic core scales and transplant module were significantly lower (Cohen's d = 0.57–1.17) when compared with BA recipients. In particular, social and school functioning (Cohen's d = 0.86–1.76), treatment anxiety, and communication (Cohen's d = 0.99–1.81) were far behind, with a large effect size. Conclusions: This large single-center study of the mainland of China showed an overall favorable impact of LT on isolated MMA in terms of long-term survival, metabolic control, and HRQoL in children and families. Thermodynamic models were employed to determine the solubility product of aluminum nitride in steels containing the solid solution elements of Mn, Ni, Cr, and Mo. Immunoinflammation is associated with the development of post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI), however, peripheral immunity has not been fully explored. We aimed to investigate the association between PSCI and peripheral immune indicators, including neutrophil, lymphocyte, and mononuclear percentages and counts; the systemic immune inflammation index; platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio; neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR); and lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio. A total of 224 patients with acute minor ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack with 6–12 months of follow-up were included. PSCI was defined as a Montreal Cognitive Assessment score < 22 during the follow-up period. We performed logistic regression, subgroup analyses based on age and sex, and further established predictive models. We found that increased innate immunity indicators (neutrophils, neutrophil percentage) increased the risk of PSCI, whereas increased adaptive immunity indicator (lymphocytes) were protective against PSCI, especially in patients aged 50–65 years. Neutrophil percentage and NLR improved the predictive efficacy of the models that included demographic, clinical, and imaging information, with the area under the curve increased from 0.765 to 0.804 and 0.803 (P = 0.042 and 0.049, respectively). Residual stress is the main factor that causes the deformation of the connecting rod during its coupled machining process. Thus, it is essential to predict the residual stress and deformation of the connecting rod before its machining. As the traditional independent analysis method is no longer suitable to the coupled machining process, a novel genetic-based method was proposed. Firstly, the genetic mechanism of residual stress field and deformation field was established to realize the effective correlation of multiple machining process simulation models. Secondly, a milling process was established based on the birth and death element method, which converted complex milling processes into dynamic loading of milling forces and the elimination of elements of the FEM model. It realized the coupling of initial residual stress (IRS) and machining induced residual stress (MIRS). Then, a multi-process simulation model of heat treatment, cutting off, and milling of connecting rod was established, which can reveal the evolution law of the residual stress field under multi-process coupling of connecting rod, the coupling mechanism between IRS and MIRS, and the deformation response law of the big hole cylinder of the connecting rod. Background: This study aimed to conduct a systematic review of the cost-effectiveness studies of interventions to increase cervical cancer screening uptake rates in underserved women in Europe. Methods: A search of Embase, Medline, Global Health, PsychINFO, and NHS Economic Evaluation Database was conducted for studies published between January 2000 and September 2022. Studies were eligible if they analysed the cost-effectiveness of any interventions to improve participation in cervical cancer screening among underserved women of any age eligible to participate in cervical cancer screening in European countries, in any language. Study characteristics and cost-effectiveness results were summarised. Study quality was assessed using the Drummond Checklist, and methodological choices were further compared. Results: The searches yielded 962 unique studies, with 17 of these (from twelve European countries) meeting the eligibility criteria for data extraction. All studies focused on underscreened women as an overarching group, with no identified studies focusing on specific subgroups of underserved women. Generally, self-HPV testing and reminder interventions were shown to be cost-effective to increase the uptake rates. There was also research showing that addressing access issues and adopting different screening modalities could be economically attractive in some settings, but the current evidence is insufficient due to the limited number of studies. Conclusion: This systematic review has revealed a gap in the literature on the cost-effectiveness of interventions to improve uptake rates of cervical cancer screening through tailored provision for specific groups of underserved women. The "brain-cognition-behavior" process is an important pathological pathway in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Symptom guided multimodal neuroimaging fusion can capture behaviorally relevant and intrinsically linked structural and functional features, which can help to construct a systematic model of the pathology. Analyzing the multimodal neuroimage fusion pattern and exploring how these brain features affect executive function (EF) and leads to behavioral impairment is the focus of this study. Based on gray matter volume (GMV) and fractional amplitude of low frequency fluctuation (fALFF) for 152 ADHD and 102 healthy controls (HC), the total symptom score (TO) was set as a reference to identify co-varying components. Based on the correlation between the identified co-varying components and EF, further mediation analysis was used to explore the relationship between brain image features, EF and clinical symptoms. This study found that the abnormalities of GMV and fALFF in ADHD are mainly located in the default mode network (DMN) and prefrontal-striatal-cerebellar circuits, respectively. GMV in ADHD influences the TO through Metacognition Index, while fALFF in HC mediates the TO through behavior regulation index (BRI). Further analysis revealed that GMV in HC influences fALFF, which further modulates BRI and subsequently affects hyperactivity-impulsivity score. To conclude, structural brain abnormalities in the DMN in ADHD may affect local brain function in the prefrontal-striatal-cerebellar circuit, making it difficult to regulate EF in terms of inhibit, shift, and emotional control, and ultimately leading to hyperactive-impulsive behavior. Background: In single-isocenter multitarget stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), geometric miss risks arise from uncertainties in intertarget position. However, its assessment is inadequate, and may be interfered by the reconstructed tumor position errors (RPEs) during simulated CT and cone beam CT (CBCT) acquisition. This study aimed to quantify intertarget position variations and assess factors influencing it. Methods: We analyzed data from 14 patients with 100 tumor pairs treated with single-isocenter SBRT. Intertarget position variation was measured using 4D-CT simulation to assess the intertarget position variations (ΔD) during routine treatment process. Additionally, a homologous 4D-CBCT simulation provided RPE-free comparison to determine the impact of RPEs, and isolating purely tumor motion induced ΔD to evaluate potential contributing factors. Results: The median ΔD was 4.3 mm (4D-CT) and 3.4 mm (4D-CBCT). Variations exceeding 5 mm and 10 mm were observed in 31.1% and 5.5% (4D-CT) and 20.4% and 3.4% (4D-CBCT) of fractions, respectively. RPEs necessitated an additional 1–2 mm safety margin. Intertarget distance and breathing amplitude variability showed weak correlations with variation (Rs = 0.33 and 0.31). The ΔD differed significantly by locations (upper vs. lower lobe and right vs. Left lung). Notably, left lung tumor pairs exhibited the highest risk. Conclusions: This study provide a reliable way to assess intertarget position variation by using both 4D-CT and 4D-CBCT simulation. Consequently, single-isocenter SBRT for multiple lung tumors carries high risk of geometric miss. Our previous studies have highlighted the pivotal role of gastric cancer mesenchymal stem cells (GCMSCs) in tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. In parallel, it is well-documented that endothelial cells (ECs) undergo functional alterations in response to challenging tumor microenvironment. This study aims to elucidate whether functional changes in ECs might be induced by GCMSCs and thus influence cancer progression. Cell proliferation was assessed through CCK-8 and colony formation assays, while cell migration and invasion capabilities were evaluated by wound-healing and Transwell assays. Immunohistochemistry was employed to examine protein distribution and expression levels. Additionally, quantitative analysis of protein and mRNA expression was carried out through Western blotting and qRT-PCR respectively, with gene knockdown achieved using siRNA. Our findings revealed that GCMSCs effectively stimulate cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), both in vitro and in vivo. GCMSCs promote the migration and invasion of gastric cancer cells by inducing the expression of Slit2 in HUVECs. Notably, the inhibition of phosphorylated AKT partially mitigates the aforementioned effects. In conclusion, GCMSCs may exert regulatory control over Slit2 expression in ECs via the AKT signaling pathway, thereby inducing functional changes in ECs that promote tumor progression. Fetal adenocarcinoma of the lung (FLAC) is a rare form of lung adenocarcinoma and was divided into high-grade (H-FLAC) and low-grade (L-FLAC) subtypes. Despite the existence of some small case series studies, a comprehensive multi-omics study of FLAC has yet to be undertaken. In this study, we depicted the multi-omics landscapes of this rare lung cancer type by performing multi-regional sampling on 20 FLAC cases. A comparison of multi-omics profiles revealed significant differences between H-FLAC and L-FLAC in a multi-omic landscape. Two subtypes also showed distinct relationships between multi-layer intratumor heterogeneity (ITH). We discovered that a lower genetic ITH was significantly associated with worse recurrence-free survival and overall survival in FLAC patients, whereas higher methylation ITH in H-FLAC patients suggested a short survival. Our findings highlight the complex interplay between genetic and transcriptional heterogeneity in FLAC and suggest that different types of ITH may have distinct implications for patient prognosis. In this paper, the influence of SO2 on the performances of selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) of NH3 on Cr-Ce mixed oxide catalysts had been disclosed. Experimental results revealed that the existence of SO2 could greatly suppress the unselective catalytic oxidation of ammonia over Cr-Ce mixed oxide catalysts with strong redox capacity, though the ammonia conversion rate was somewhat lowered after SO2 introduction. As such, near or above 90% ammonia conversion and excellent N2 selectivity within 350–450 °C could be achieved on Cr10Ce sample after 20 h reaction running in the presence of 350 ppm SO2. Characterization results indicated that SO2 could induce the formation of surface sulfates on Cr10Ce catalysts and enhance its surface acidity, which would inhibit the over-oxidation of NH3. More importantly, the bulk-like sulfation of Cr10Ce samples was damped in the presence of SO2 compared to pure CeO2, which allowed certain active oxygens participating in NH3-SCO reaction. DFT results also confirmed that the adsorbed SO2 would preferentially interact with the oxygens around the interface of CeO2 and Cr2O3, thereby preventing the retained active oxygens from being further sulfation. Background: This study aimed to identify survival risk factors in Chinese children with hepatoblastoma (HB) and assess the effectiveness of the new treatment protocol proposed by the Chinese Children's Cancer Group (CCCG) in 2016. Methods: A multicenter, prospective study that included 399 patients with HB from January 2015 to June 2020 was conducted. Patient demographics, treatment protocols, and other related information were collected. Cox regression models and Kaplan–Meier curve methods were used. Results: The 4-year event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS) were 76.9 and 93.5%, respectively. The 4-year EFS rates for the very-low-risk, low-risk, intermediate-risk, and high-risk groups were 100%, 91.6%, 81.7%, and 51.0%, respectively. The 4-year OS was 100%, 97.3%, 94.4%, and 86.8%, respectively. Cox regression analysis found that age, tumor rupture (R +), and extrahepatic tumor extension (E +) were independent prognostic factors. A total of 299 patients had complete remission, and 19 relapsed. Patients with declining alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) > 75% after the first two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy had a better EFS and OS than those ≤ 75%. Conclusions: The survival outcome of HB children has dramatically improved since the implementation of CCCG-HB-2016 therapy. Age ≥ 8 years, R + , and E + were independent risk factors for prognosis. In recent years, SiC single crystal growth technology has been developed toward larger size and thickness to reduce the cost of SiC-based power devices. Resistance heating has gradually become a hot spot for research because the crystals grown by the induction heating display the disadvantages of high stress and defect density. In this paper, the design of resistance heaters for SiC crystal growth was thoroughly investigated via numerical simulation. A simulation of the thermal field generated by different resistive heater arrangements was performed. The stress and dislocation distribution in crystals under different growth conditions were studied. Based on the comprehensive requirements of a small radial temperature gradient and a large growth rate, the arrangement and length of the resistance heater were proposed. Arylamines, serving as crucial building blocks in natural products and finding applications in multifunctional materials, are synthesized on a large scale via an electrophilic nitration/reduction sequence. However, the current methods for aromatic C–H amination have not yet attained the same level of versatility as electrophilic nitration. Here we show an extensively investigated transition metal-free and regioselective strategy for the amination of nitrobenzenes, enabling the synthesis of 4-nitro-N-arylamines through C(sp2)-H/N-H cross-coupling between electron-deficient nitroarenes and amines. Mechanistic studies have elucidated that the crucial aspects of these reactions encompass the generation of nitrogen radicals and recombination of nitrobenzene complex radicals. The C(sp2)-N bond formation is demonstrated to be highly effective for primary and secondary arylamines as well as aliphatic amines under mild conditions, exhibiting exceptional tolerance towards diverse functional groups in both nitroarenes and amines (>100 examples with yields up to 96%). Notably, this C(sp2)-H/N-H cross-coupling exhibits exclusive para-selectivity. Direct radical C–H amination strategies have exhibited innovation, but challenges remain with C–H amination of electron-poor nitroarenes due to the essence of the electron-deficient nitrogen radical. Online monitoring of depths of cut (DOC) is an essential way to avoid machining defects, such as over-cutting and machining chatter. Data-driven machine learning method has been widely used to build the monitoring algorithms. However, deficient training data and un-interpretable algorithm make it difficult for application. Therefore, a physics-informed interpretable machine learning algorithm was proposed. Firstly, a physical simulation model incorporated with DOC was established with the rotation speed and feed speed as its inputs and time-domain signals of milling force as its outputs. The output force signals were quantitatively presented by time domain and frequency domain features. Secondly, six dimensionless features, namely the kurtosis, skewness, waveform factor, peak factor, pulse factor, and margin factor of the resultant milling force, were explored through sensitivity analysis method. They were sensitive to DOC but insensitive to milling force coefficient, speed, and feed speed. Then, a quantitative relationship model between features and DOC was established using the least squares linear regression algorithm, which has an intrinsic interpretability. Finally, the model was trained by a labeled 100-group experimental data. The results show that the accuracy of the proposed model for DOC monitoring is higher than 90%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

NOD-like receptor family CARD domain containing 3 (NLRC3) is the intracellular protein belonging to NLR (NOD-like receptor) family. NLRC3 can negatively regulate inflammatory signal transduction pathways within the adaptive and innate immunocytes. However, studies need to elucidate the biological role of NLRC3 in bone remodeling. Herein, our study proved that NLRC3 prevents bone loss by inhibiting TNFα+ Th17 cell responses. In osteoporosis, NLRC3 attenuated TNFα+ Th17 cell accumulation in the bone marrow. However, osteoporosis (OP) development was aggravated without affecting bone marrow macrophage (BMM) osteoclastogenesis in NLRC3-deficient ovariectomized (OVX) mice. In this study, we transferred the wild-type and NLRC3−/− CD4+ cells into Rag1−/− mice. Consequently, we evidenced the effects of NLRC3 in CD4+ T cells on inhibiting the accumulation of TNFα + Th17 cells, thus restricting bone loss in the OVX mice. Simultaneously, NLRC3−/− CD4+ T cells promoted the recruitment of osteoclast precursors and inflammatory monocytes into the OVX mouse bone marrow. Mechanism-wise, NLRC3 reduced the secretion of TNFα + Th17 cells of RANKL, MIP1α, and MCP1, depending on the T cells. In addition, NLRC3 negatively regulated the Th17 osteoclastogenesis promoting functions via limiting the NF-κB activation. Collectively, this study appreciated the effect of NLRC3 on modulating bone mass via adaptive immunity depending on CD4+ cells. According to findings of this study, NLRC3 may be the candidate anti-OP therapeutic target. The recovery of heat and water from low-grade flue gas is of considerable importance for energy conservation and environmental preservation. While the full-open absorption heat pump shows promise as a means of achieving heat and water recovery, the lack of research on heat and mass transfer performance of open-type solution evaporation regeneration represents a significant impediment to its design and operation. This paper experimentally investigates the regeneration performance of an open-type spaying tower equipped with ceramic structured packings. Two different regeneration modes are proposed, namely ambient air receiver mode and flue gas receiver mode, to utilize air or low-grade flue gas as a driving source. The impact of different input parameters on the regeneration characteristics, including heat transfer capacity, water removal rate, thermal efficiency, and humidity effectiveness, are demonstrated. The findings indicate that the enhancement of regeneration can be achieved through the increase of solution flow rate, solution temperature, and flue gas flow rate in both regeneration modes. However, high solution concentration and flue gas humidity ratio can weaken water removal rates and reduce thermal efficiency. For the regeneration of CaCl2-H2O with a concentration of 55%, flue gas around 200°C with a humidity ratio below 44 g/kg can successfully drive the solution regeneration process. When the solution concentration or flue gas humidity ratio continues to rise, additional energy is necessary for regeneration. This meta-analysis aimed to comprehensively evaluate the efficacy and safety of pentoxifylline (PTF) in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (DN) and to offer fresh perspectives and evidence-based references for this condition. Meta-analysis. Relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were searched from PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, China Knowledge Network (CNKI), Wanfang, and China Biomedical Literature Database. All trials were screened for compliance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and relevant data were extracted after quality evaluation. Eighteen studies with a total of 1280 patients were finally included. Compared to the control group, high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) was improved (MD = − 0.23. 95% CI = [− 0.41, − 0.05], P = 0.01); urinary albumin excretion (UAE) rate was reduced (MD = − 16.50, 95% CI = [− 18.87, − 14.13], P<0.00001); the change of serum creatinine (Scr) from baseline was reduced (MD = − 0.05, 95%CI = [− 0.08, − 0.01], P = 0.009); fasting plasma glucose (FPG) was decreased (MD = − 5.66, 95% CI = [− 9.79, − 1.53], P = 0.007); and the improvement of glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) from baseline was increased (MD = 4.38, 95% CI = [3.28, 5.48], P<0.00001) in the treatment group. No significant difference was observed between the two groups concerning systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, and triglycerides. And in terms of safety, the use of PTF was relatively safe with some self-limiting adverse events. FPG was decreased by PTF more effectively, but there was no effect of PTF on glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c). PTF could improve hsCRP, decrease UAE and Scr, and raise eGFR in the treatment of DN. Alzheimer's disease (AD) and post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) are the leading causes of progressive dementia related to neurodegenerative and cerebrovascular injuries in elderly populations. Despite decades of research, patients with these conditions still lack minimally invasive, low-cost, and effective diagnostic and treatment methods. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play a vital role in AD and PSCI pathology. As they are easily obtained from patients, miRNAs are promising candidates for the diagnosis and treatment of these two disorders. In this study, we performed complete sequencing analysis of miRNAs from 24 participants, split evenly into the PSCI, post-stroke non-cognitive impairment (PSNCI), AD, and normal control (NC) groups. To screen for differentially expressed miRNAs (DE-miRNAs) in patients, we predicted their target genes using bioinformatics analysis. Our analyses identified miRNAs that can distinguish between the investigated disorders; several of them were novel and never previously reported. Their target genes play key roles in multiple signaling pathways that have potential to be modified as a clinical treatment. In conclusion, our study demonstrates the potential of miRNAs and their key target genes in disease management. Our previous study using RNA sequencing and reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) validation identified a long non-coding RNA (lnc), lnc-AL928768.3, correlating with risk and disease activity of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), then the present study was conducted to further investigate the interaction of lnc-AL928768.3 with lymphotoxin beta (LTB) and their impact on proliferation, migration, invasion, and inflammation in RA-fibroblast-like synoviocytes (RA-FLS). Human RA-FLS was obtained and transfected with lnc-AL928768.3 overexpression, negative control overexpression, lnc-AL928768.3 short hairpin RNA (shRNA) and negative control shRNA plasmids. Then cell functions and inflammatory cytokine expressions were detected. Afterward, rescue experiments were conducted via transfecting lnc-AL928768.3 shRNA with or without LTB overexpression plasmids in RA-FLS. Lnc-AL928768.3 enhanced proliferation and invasion, inhibited apoptosis, while had little impact on migration in RA-FLS. In addition, lnc-AL928768.3 positively modulated interleukin-1β (IL-1β), IL-6 and IL-8 expressions in RA-FLS supernatant; moreover, it also positively regulated LTB mRNA expression, LTB protein expression, p-NF-κB protein expression, and p-IKB-α protein expression in RA-FLS. Furthermore, following experiment showed that lnc-AL928768.3 positively regulated LTB expression while LTB did not impact on lnc-AL928768.3 expression in RA-FLS. Furthermore, in rescue experiments, LTB overexpression curtailed the effect of lnc-AL928768.3 knock-down on regulating proliferation, invasion, apoptosis and inflammatory cytokine expressions in RA-FLS. In this study, we present a supramolecular templating approach for constructing polyimidazolium salt containing crown ether and cyclobutane moieties. This strategy involves the formation of metal-carbene templates, photochemical cycloaddition, and subsequent demetallation of metal ions. Driven by the host-guest chemistry between crown ether units and ammonium salts, we successfully fabricated a supramolecular polymer SPN1, which features imidazolium receptors and cyclobutane units. The sequential interaction network usually find itself in a variety of applications, e.g., recommender system. Herein, inferring future interaction is of fundamental importance, and previous efforts are mainly focused on the dynamics in the classic zero-curvature Euclidean space. Despite the promising results achieved by previous methods, a range of significant issues still largely remains open: On the bipartite nature, is it appropriate to place user and item nodes in one identical space regardless of their inherent difference? On the network dynamics, instead of a fixed curvature space, will the representation spaces evolve when new interactions arrive continuously? On the learning paradigm, can we get rid of the label information costly to acquire? To address the aforementioned issues, we propose a novel Contrastive model for Sequential Interaction Network learning on Co-Evolving RiEmannian spaces, CSincere. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first to introduce a couple of co-evolving representation spaces, rather than a single or static space, and propose a co-contrastive learning for the sequential interaction network. In CSincere, we formulate a Cross-Space Aggregation for message-passing across representation spaces of different Riemannian geometries, and design a Neural Curvature Estimator based on Ricci curvatures for modeling the space evolvement over time. Thereafter, we present a Reweighed Co-Contrast between the temporal views of the sequential network, so that the couple of Riemannian spaces interact with each other for the interaction prediction without labels. Aflatoxins (AFs) have strong liver and kidney toxicity, teratogenic, and carcinogenic effects. They can easily contaminate foods such as grains and oilseeds, and can easily enter the human body through the food chain, posing a huge threat to human health. There is an urgent need to establish a rapid, sensitive, and accurate analysis strategy for AFs in food to protect people's health. However, due to the complexity of the food matrix and the extremely low content of AFs in food, efficient pre-treatment technology is needed to enrich and separate the target substances, as well as detection methods with high detection sensitivity and efficiency. This article provides an overview of recent research advances in solid-phase extraction (SPE), immunoaffinity chromatography (IAC), and field-assisted extraction techniques involving microwaves, magnetic fields, and ultrasound, with a particular focus on the application of new separation materials. In addition, the application of chromatographic, immunological, and emerging biosensing analysis strategies in the detection of AFs in food is reviewed, and the future development direction is prospected, which is expected to promote the further development of analysis and detection of food contaminants. Currently, QR codes are widely utilized in a variety of industries, including payment, shipping, and the industrial Internet of Things. However, during the detection and recognition process, QR code images are frequently impacted by external elements, including recording equipment, light, and filming angle, which causes fuzzy QR codes that cannot be read to provide accurate information. This research presents a quick deblurring technique (Gs-DeblurGANv2) based on lightweight networks to fix the potential blurring issue with QR images in real-world applications. The approach is based on the generative adversarial network concept, where the generative network employs the GhostNet lightweight module as the feature extraction network and introduces the feature pyramid structure, while the addition of the SKNet attention module optimizes the feature extraction from images. In addition, PatchGAN is used as the discriminative network and a dual-scale discriminator for global image and local features is set. Trained and tested under the QR code blurred dataset, the results show that Gs-DeblurGANv2 achieves 25.21 dB and 0.87 PSNR and SSIM for the deblurred images and the original HD images on the test set, and this result is better than previous research methods. The outcomes of the experiments demonstrate that the proposed Gs-DeblurGANv2 can efficiently make use of the feature information of QR code pictures and produce more effective deblurring performance. While empathy has been associated with depressive symptoms, few longitudinal studies have confirmed the causal relationship between empathy and depressive symptoms. The current study employed a three-wave and one-year longitudinal follow-up study to investigate the causality between empathy and depression symptoms, focusing primarily on emerging adults due to the prevalence of depressive symptoms in this age group. Random intercept cross-lagged panel analysis (N = 1028) results found that affective empathy at T1 and T2 positively predicted depressive symptoms at T2 and T3, and only depressive symptoms at T2 positively predicted affective empathy at T3. These results suggested that affective empathy is indeed a risk factor for depression; it supported both the vulnerability and scar models. Further research endeavors should concentrate on exploring the developmental aspects of affective empathy, facilitating individuals in effectively regulating emotional resonance and mitigating potential adverse effects arising from empathetic sharing of negative emotions with others. In order to further research the effect of cryogenic cooling, the cooling capacity of LN2 jet was studied through the theoretical and experimental methods. Based on the boiling cooling mechanism of LN2, a set of predicted mathematical model considering the evaporating part before impacting, spreading adhesion, and impact spatter abilities was established. The effects of injection velocity and injection angle on the cooling speed, spreading area, and splashing state were analyzed. A series of milling experiments with LN2 impact cooling were executed. The results show that the smaller injection angle can cause a larger temperature difference, as well as achieving the easy nuclear boiling and improving the heat flux. At the same flow, the cooling effect is better at the condition of small milling depth following the smaller injection angle, as well as the excellent cutting quality. At large milling depth, the cooling effect at injection angle αn = 20° is not as good as that of 40°. Meanwhile, the relation between injection angle and feed is similar to that of milling depth. At small LN2 flow, the cooling rate will be less than the required speed at bigger cutting parameter; the processing area of the workpiece cannot be completely cooled, which causes the cooling effect, and cutting quality is not ideal. In addition, the cutting effect at angle αn = 40° is also better at large flow qf = 50 L/h. Furthermore, the smaller injection angle has the larger microhardness, and it is conducive to increase strain rate and rapidly reducing temperature, as well as the degree of high grain refinement. Ultimately, the small LN2 flow is followed small impact speed, the small injection angle 20° has the shortest cooling time with the strong cooling ability, and it is suitable for the cooling processing of small cutting parameters. Under the large flow, the injection angle of 40° can relatively increase the spreading time of LN2 and achieve full boiling heat transfer and can guarantee the complete cooling processing for large cutting parameters. Drop-on-demand inkjet technology has played an irreplaceable role in various cutting-edge fields in the gaseous environment, which relies on the acoustic waves in the channel to dispense droplet. The droplet diameter is about 20–100 µm and is difficult to be further reduced. For the emerging high-resolution inkjet technology in a liquid environment based on the confined interface vibration triggered by acoustic waves in the printhead, the droplet size can be 10 times smaller than the orifice, which can also be facilely regulated. However, the residual vibrations of the confined interface will dispense secondary droplets when the stimulation is significant, interfering the uniformity of the printing results. Herein, a strategy that can regulate the interface behavior by manipulating the acoustic waves in the channel is proposed, which can achieve a significant main vibration while the residual vibrations are effectively suppressed. A mathematical model is constructed based on the experimental phenomenon to explain how the interface behavior is regulated. The influence of echo time on the interface vibrations, the mechanisms of how the residual vibrations affect the subsequent main vibration and primary droplet are revealed. This work provides a theoretical guidance for regulating droplet size and improving the printing resolution of inkjet in a liquid environment by regulating the acoustic waves in the channel, and demonstrates its practical application potential. Purpose: To explore the feasibility of a 5G-based telerobotic ultrasound (US) system for providing qualified abdominal US services on a rural island. Methods: This prospective study involved two medical centers (the tele-radiologist site's hospital and the patient site's hospital) separated by 72 km. Patients underwent 5G-based telerobotic US by tele-radiologists and conventional US by on-site radiologists from September 2020 to March 2021. The clinical feasibility and diagnostic performance of the 5G-based telerobotic abdominal US examination were assessed based on safety, duration, image quality, diagnostic findings, and questionnaires. Results: A total of 401 patients (217 women and 184 men; mean age, 54.96 ± 15.43 years) were enrolled. A total of 90.1% of patients indicated no discomfort with the telerobotic US examination. For the examination duration, telerobotic US took longer than conventional US (12.54 ± 3.20 min vs. 7.23 ± 2.10 min, p = 0.001). For image quality scores, the results of the two methods were similar (4.54 ± 0.63 vs. 4.57 ± 0.61, p = 0.112). No significant differences were found between the two methods in measurements for the aorta, portal vein, gallbladder, kidney (longitudinal diameter), prostate, and uterus; however, telerobotic US underestimated the transverse diameter of the kidney (p < 0.05). A total of 504 positive results, including 31 different diseases, were detected. Among them, 455 cases were identified by the two methods; 17 cases were identified by telerobotic US only; and 32 cases were identified by conventional US only. There was good consistency in the diagnosis of 29 types of disease between the two methods (κ = 0.773–1.000). Furthermore, more than 90% of patients accepted the telerobotic US examination and agreed to pay additional fees in future. Tomato crop yield can be negatively impacted by various diseases and pests. The application of computer vision to diagnose tomato diseases and pests presents two significant challenges. Firstly, the collected dataset of tomato pests and diseases is often imbalanced, leading to poor model performance. Secondly, mainstream models struggle to balance the relationship between training efficiency and accuracy. In this paper, we propose a novel method for diagnosing tomato pests and diseases using a lightweight network. Specifically, we develop Squeeze and SE Net (SSNet), a new convolutional neural network (CNN) based on SqueezeNet and SENet. We evaluate the performance of SSNet through comparative experiments for diagnosing tomato pests and diseases. Additionally, we examine the impact of dataset balance, data volume, and hyperparameters on model performance. Our results demonstrate that SSNet achieves model accuracies of 98.80% and 98.39% for tomato pests and diseases, respectively, with only 0.398 M parameters. Long-term use of sevoflurane, an inhalation anesthetic, could negatively impact cognitive function. Current studies have suggested that cognitive impairment induced by sevoflurane may be associated with neuroinflammation. Sestrin2 (SESN2), which belongs to a family of stress-inducible genes, has been reported to exert neuroprotective effects against brain injury. However, its role and underlying mechanisms in sevoflurane-induced cognitive dysfunction in aged rats remain unknown. A sevoflurane-induced aging rat injury model with or without SESN2 overexpression was constructed. The learning and memory abilities of rats were evaluated by the MWM test. ELISA assay and qRT-PCR were conducted to analyze the level of pro-inflammatory factors in the hippocampus. Levels of oxidative stress markers were measured by DHE staining or kit methods. Neuronal apoptosis in the hippocampus was detected using TUNEL assay. Expression of proteins were analyzed by western blot. Sevoflurane exposure caused elevated protein level of SESN2 in hippocampus and cognitive impairment of aged rats. Importantly, overexpression of SESN2 alleviated sevoflurane-induced cognitive dysfunction and inhibited the production of pro-inflammatory factors, oxidative stress, and neuronal apoptosis in the hippocampus. Furthermore, SESN2 overexpression suppressed NLRP3 inflammasome activation induced by sevoflurane. These findings suggested that SESN2 could exert neuroprotective against sevoflurane-induced nerve injury of aged rats through anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The purpose of this study was to identify the target genes of tcon_00044595, elucidate its activation site, and provide novel insights into the pathogenesis and treatment of neonatal hypoxic–ischemic brain damage (HIBD). Through homologous blast analysis, we identified predicted target sequences in the neighboring regions of the long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) tcon_00044595, suggesting that limd1 is its target gene. Starbase was utilized to identify potential candidate microRNAs associated with the lncRNA. The interaction between the candidate microRNAs and limd1 was investigated and validated using various experimental methods including in vitro cell culture, cell transfection, dual fluorescence reporter detection system, and real-time PCR. Homology alignment analysis revealed that the lncRNA tcon_00044595 exhibited a 246 bp homologous sequence at the 3' end of the adjacent limd1 gene, with a conservation rate of 68%. Analysis conducted on Starbase online identified three potential microRNA candidates: miR-3471, miR-883a-5p, and miR-214-3p. Intracellular expression of the limd1 gene was significantly down-regulated upon transfection with miR-3471, while the other two microRNAs did not produce noticeable effects. Luciferase reporter assays identified two interaction sites (UTR-1, UTR-2) between miR-3471 and the limd1 3ʹUTR, with UTR-1 exhibiting a strong influence. Further CCK8 assay indicated a protective role of miR-3471 during low oxygen stroke in HIBD. The potential regulatory relationship between lncRNA (tcon_00044595), miR-3471, and the target gene limd1 suggests their involvement in the occurrence and development of HIBD, providing new insights for investigating the underlying mechanisms and exploring targeted therapeutic approaches for HIBD.
