To improve the efficiency and benefits of the agricultural product supply chain while ensuring its smooth operation and sustainable development, we have established a performance evaluation index system for the agricultural product supply chain in the context of building an agricultural powerhouse. The evaluation model combines principal component analysis, data envelopment analysis, and ideal solution methods, forming a PCA-DEA-TOPSIS three-stage integrated model. In this paper, taking Sichuan Province as an example, we assess the agricultural product supply chain performance of 21 cities (prefectures) in the province and propose several improvement strategies.

Due to the capability of multiplexing thousands of sensors on a single optical cable, ultra-weak fiber Bragg grating (UWFBG) vibration sensing technology has been utilized in monitoring the vibration response of large-scale infrastructures, particularly urban railway tracks, and the volume of the collected monitoring data can be huge with the great number of sensors. Even though the train-induced vibration responses of urban railway tracks constitute the most informative and crucial component, they comprised less than 7% of the total operational period. This is mainly attributed to the temporal sparsity of commuting trains. Consequently, the majority of the stored data consisted of low-informative environmental noise and interference excitation data, leading to an inefficient structural health monitoring (SHM) system. To address this issue, this paper introduced an adaptive monitoring strategy for railway track structures, which is capable of identifying train-load patterns by leveraging deep learning techniques. Inspired by image semantic segmentation, a U-net model with one-dimensional convolution layers (U-net-1D) was developed for the pointwise classification of vibration monitoring data. The proposed model was trained and validated using a dataset obtained from an actual urban railway track in China. Results indicated that the proposed method outperforms the traditional dual-threshold method, achieving an Intersection over Union (IoU) of 94.27% on the segmentation task of the test dataset. In the granite regions of southern China, benggang poses a substantial threat to the ecological environment due to significant soil erosion. This phenomenon also imposes constraints on economic development, necessitating substantial investments in restoration efforts in recent decades. Despite these efforts, there remains a notable gap in comprehensive risk assessment that integrates both the erosion risk and disaster risk associated with benggang. This study focuses on a representative benggang area in Wuhua County, Guangdong province, employing transformer methods and high-resolution imagery to map the spatial pattern of the benggang. The integrated risk of benggang was assessed by combining soil-erosion risk and disaster risk, and cultivated land, residential land, and water bodies were identified as key disaster-affected entities. The machine-learning Segformer model demonstrated high precision, achieving an Intersection over Union (IoU) of 93.17% and an accuracy (Acc) of 96.73%. While the number of large benggang is relatively small, it constitutes the largest area proportion (65.10%); the number of small benggang is more significant (62.40%) despite a smaller area proportion. Prioritization for benggang management is categorized into high, medium, and low priority, accounting for 17.98%, 48.34%, and 33.69%, respectively. These priorities cover areas of 30.27%, 42.40%, and 27.33%, respectively. The findings of this study, which offer benggang management priorities, align with the nature-based solutions approach. Emphasizing the importance of considering costs and benefits comprehensively when formulating treatment plans, this approach contributes to sustainable solutions for addressing the challenges posed by benggang. With the development of detrital zircon U–Pb ages and Hf isotope analysis as conventional sedimentological research methods, a large number of studies have been conducted in the Tarim, West Kunlun, Tajik, Pamir and Tianshuihai regions and abundant data have been accumulated. Summarizing these data to characterize sedimentary units and source regions is more important than local studies of specific geological epochs; therefore, we compiled a database of detrital zircon U–Pb ages and Hf isotope analyses from the Tarim, West Kunlun, Pamir, Tajik and Tianshuihai terranes. The database contains data from 90 papers, including 35,281 individual U–Pb ages and 4,181 Hf isotope analyses. The database records the literature source, petrologic sample information, regional geological information, geographic coordinates and analytical parameters for each data point in as much detail as possible to allow readers to review, process, analyse and use the data. The database relies on the Deep‐time Digital Earth (DDE) platform and uses an open database update system to enable sharing and collaborative building. Detrital composition of sandstone is the most important data for siliciclastic studies including sandstone classification, provenance analysis, oil and gas exploration. A large amount of detrital composition data has accumulated over the past decades, however, they are scattered in publications without unified standards. Here we constructed a global dataset of detrital components of sandstones from 646 peer‐reviewed publications using Gazzi‐Dickinson method. A total of 19,861 samples from Precambrian to Quaternary are involved in this dataset. For each sample, we present details on reference information, geographic information, geological background, depositional age and the original data. It is a high‐quality dataset for the information on each sandstone sample from different studies which was standardized. The dataset can be used widely, such as for stratigraphic comparison, provenance analysis, exploring the general laws of the source‐to‐sink process and geological engineering. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

[Objective] To explore the effectiveness of the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) model in simulating soil erosion on slope surfaces during vegetation restoration in the Loess Plateau. [Methods] This study utilized rainfall--runoff and sediment data from ten runoff plots in Ansai Fangta small watershed in northern Shaanxi Province during 2016-2022. Utilizing various commonly used algorithms for RUSLE model factors specific to the Loess Plateau, a total of 144 combinations of factors were simulated to estimate soil erosion on restored slopes. The Nash -- Sutcliffe efficiency coefficient (NSE) and root mean square error (RMSE) were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the model simulations. [Results] The results indicated that the simulated soil erosion on restored slopes using the 144 factor combinations ranged from -- 38.47 to 0.19 for NSE and from 1.92 to 12.65 t/(hm² * a) for RMSE, suggesting limited model performance. The selected algorithms for RUSLE model factors appeared to be inadequate for assessing soil erosion on slopes undergoing vegetation restoration. Further improvements are needed for the individual factors within the RUSLE model. When applying RUSLE model to simulate soil erosion on restored slopes in the Loess Plateau, it is recommended to utilize data with high temporal resolution to reduce errors in calculating the i?-factor, and comprehensively consider the effects of soil physical and chemical properties such as soil organic matter content, soil particle size and aggregate structure and bulk density on K-factor, and the the effects of vegetation coverage, vegetation height, litter, and biological crust and C-factor, full consider to slopes steeper than 10° in refining the LS-factor. [Conclusion] The RUSLE model is not well-suited for simulating soil erosion in the context of vegetation restoration on abandoned slopes in the Loess Plateau. This study provides some reference for the research and development of soil erosion model and the application of RUSLE model on the slope of vegetation restoration in the Loess Plateau. The role of ATP6AP1 in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains elusive despite its observed upregulation in pan-cancer. Therefore, the current study aimed to assess the clinical significance of ATP6AP1 and its relationship with the immune infiltration in CRC. Transcriptome data of CRC were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and analyzed using the combination of R packages and tumor-related databases, including TIMER2, TISIDB, cBioPortal, and MethSurv. The tissue arrays and immunohistochemical staining were performed to verify the expression and clinical characteristics of ATP6AP1. The results revealed that ATP6AP1 expression was significantly elevated in CRC and associated with poor clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis. Furthermore, the analysis demonstrated ATP6AP1 expression was correlated with the infiltration of immune cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts in the microenvironment of CRC. Moreover, ATP6AP1 was found to be linked to various immune checkpoints and chemokines, with enrichment of cytoplasmic vesicle lumen, endopeptidase regulator activity, and endopeptidase inhibitor activity observed in the high ATP6AP1 expressional group. In conclusion, the findings of this study suggest that ATP6AP1 upregulation may serve as a biomarker for poor diagnosis in CRC and offer a potential target for immunotherapy in CRC. Generation of mammalian red blood cells requires the expulsion of polarized nuclei late in terminal erythroid differentiation. However, the mechanisms by which spherical erythroblasts determine the direction of nuclear polarization and maintain asymmetry during nuclear expulsion are poorly understood. Given the analogy of erythroblast enucleation to asymmetric cell division and the key role of Aurora kinases in mitosis, we sought to investigate the function of Aurora kinases in erythroblast enucleation. We found that AURKA (Aurora kinase A) is abundantly expressed in orthochromatic erythroblasts. Intriguingly, high-resolution confocal microscopy analyses revealed that AURKA co-localized with the centrosome on the side of the nucleus opposite its membrane contact point during polarization and subsequently translocated to the anterior end of the protrusive nucleus upon nuclear exit. Mechanistically, AURKA regulated centrosome maturation and localization via interaction with i-tubulin to provide polarization orientation for the nucleus. Furthermore, we identified ECT2 (epithelial cell transforming 2), a guanine nucleotide exchange factor, as a new interacting protein and ubiquitination substrate of AURKA. After forming the nuclear protrusion, AURKA translocated to the anterior end of the protrusive nucleus to directly degrade ECT2, which is partly dependent on kinase activity of AURKA. Moreover, knockdown of ECT2 rescued impaired enucleation caused by AURKA inhibition. Our findings have uncovered a previously unrecognized role of Aurora kinases in the establishment of nuclear polarization and eventual nuclear extrusion and provide new mechanistic insights into erythroblast enucleation.

Aims: Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a condition that arises due to the rupture of cerebral blood vessels, leading to the flow of blood into the brain tissue. One of the pathological alterations that occurs during an acute ICH is an impairment of the blood-brain barrier (BBB), which leads to severe perihematomal edema and an immune response., Discussion: A complex interplay between the cells of the BBB, for example, pericytes, astrocytes, and brain endothelial cells, with resident and infiltrating immune cells, such as microglia, monocytes, neutrophils, T lymphocytes, and others accounts for both damaging and protective mechanisms at the BBB following ICH. However, the precise immunological influence of BBB disruption has yet to be richly ascertained, especially at various stages of ICH., Conclusion: This review summarizes the changes in different cell types and molecular components of the BBB associated with immune-inflammatory responses during ICH. Furthermore, it highlights promising immunoregulatory therapies to protect the integrity of the BBB after ICH. By offering a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms behind BBB damage linked to cellular and molecular immunoinflammatory responses after ICH, this article aimed to accelerate the identification of potential therapeutic targets and expedite further translational research., (© 2024 The Author(s). This study delved into the larval development and the morphological and anatomical transformations that occur in the galls of chestnut trees ( Castanea mollissima BL.) and are induced by the chestnut gall wasp Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu (GWDK) across various stages: initial, growth, differentiation, maturity, and lignification. Chestnut galls in the five development stages were collected. Gall structural characteristics were observed with an anatomical stereomicroscope, and anatomical changes in galls were analyzed with staining and scanning electron microscope techniques. The chestnut gall wasp laid its eggs on young leaves and buds. Chestnut gall wasp parasitism caused plant tissues to form a gall chamber, with parenchyma, protective, and epidermal layers. The development of the gall structure caused by the infestation of the GWDK gall led to the weakening of the reactive oxygen species (ROS) elimination ability of the host. The accumulation of ROS led to cell wall peroxidation, resulting in structural damage and diminished host resistance, and the parenchyma layer exhibited significant nutrient supply and thickening. The thickness of the protective and epidermal layers varied notably across different growth stages. The oviposition of the chestnut gall wasp induced modifications in the original plant tissues, with gall formation being most favorable in young tissues, correlating with the maturity level of the host plant tissues. Variances in the internal structures of the galls primarily stemmed from nutrient supplementation, while those in the external structure were attributed to defensive characteristics. This research contributes a foundational understanding of gall development induced by the chestnut gall wasp in Chinese chestnut, offering valuable insights into the intricate interplay between insect infestation and plant physiology.

Dynamic tuning metasurfaces represent a significant advancement in optical encryption techniques, enabling highly secure multichannel responses. This paper proposes a liquid crystal (LC) tunable dual-layered metasurface to establish a thermal-encrypted optical platform for information storage. Through the screening of unit cells and coupling of characteristics, a dynamic polarization-dependent beam-steering metasurface is vertically cascaded with an angular multiplexing nanoprinting metasurface, separated by a dielectric layer. By integrating high-birefringence LCs into dual-layered metasurfaces, the cascaded meta-system can achieve dynamic thermal-switching for pre-encoded nanoprinting images. This work provides a promising solution for developing compact dynamic meta-systems for customized optical storage and information encryption.
