[Display omitted] An In(OTf) 3 -catalyzed oxygenative bifunctionalization reaction has been developed for the facile synthesis of various α-functionalized ketones. A wide range of aryl sulfoxides and electron-rich arylalkynes prove to be suitable substrates for this transformation.
