This article discusses the use of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) as a potential treatment for chordomas, a type of skull base tumor that is difficult to treat. CAP is a room temperature gas that has been shown to have anti-tumor effects in various types of cancer. The study found that CAP exposure decreased the survival of chordoma cells in vitro.
