In the paper, we introduce a new class of noncyclic φ-contractions as a generalization of the class of noncyclic contractions which was first introduced in the paper [R. Esp'ınola, M. Gabeleh, On the structure of minimal sets of relatively nonexpansive mappings, Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization 34 (8), 845-860, 2013] and study the existence, uniqueness and convergence of a fixed point for such class of noncyclic mapping in the framework of uniformly convex Banach spaces. The aim of this paper is to establish some fixed point results for enriched Kannan-type mappings in convex metric spaces. We first give an affirmative answer to a recent Berinde and Păcurar's question (Remark 2.3) [J. Comput. Appl. Math., 386 (2021), 113217]. Furthermore, we establish the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for Suzuki-enriched Kannan-type mappings in the setting of convex metric spaces. In this paper, we study the problem of finding a solution of a pseudomonotone variational inequality problem with the constraints of fixed points of a finite family of demicontractive multivalued mappings. We introduce a new generalized viscosity inertial Tseng's extragradient method which uses self-adaptive step sizes. Unlike some existing results in this direction, we prove our strong convergence theorems without the sequentially weakly continuity condition of the pseudomonotone operator and without the knowledge of Lipschitz constants. Moreover, our strong convergence results do not follow the conventional "two cases" approach, which was often employed in proving strong convergence. Finally, we apply our result to convex minimization problems and present several numerical experiments to illustrate the performance of the proposed algorithms in comparison with other existing methods in the literature. In this paper, the existence of positive solutions of the following third-order three-point boundary value problem with p-Laplacian {(Φp(u"(t)))' + f(t, u(t)) = 0, t (0, 1), u(0) = au(η), u(1) = au(η), u"(0) = 0, is studied, where Φp(s) = |s|p-2s, p > 1. By using the fixed point index method, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one or at least two positive solutions for the above boundary value problem. In this paper, a general idea of Presic type L-fuzzy fixed point results using some weakly contractive conditions in the setting of metric space is initiated. Stability of L-fuzzy mappings and associated new concepts are proposed herein to complement their corresponding notions related to crisp multi-valued and single-valued mappings. Our purpose of this paper is to answer several open questions posed by Doan (AIMS Math., 6 (2021), 7895-7908). First, we present two fixed point theorems, which are positive answers to Doan's questions. Second, we establish a new type of Riech's fixed point theorem to improve a result of Doan. In this paper, we study the existence and stability of solutions in connection to a non-local multiterm boundary value problem (BVP) with differential equations equipped with the Riemann-Liouville (RL) fractional derivative in the sense of Atangana-Baleanu of variable-order. The results about the existence property are investigated and proved via Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem. Note that all theorems in the present research are studied based on piece-wise constant functions defined on generalized intervals. We shall convert our main BVP with the RL-fractional derivative of the Atangana-Baleanu type of variable-order to an equivalent BVP of constant order of the RL-Atangana-Baleanu derivative. In the next step, we examine the Ulam-Hyers stability for the supposed variable-order RL-Atangana-Baleanu BVP. Finally, we provide some examples to validate that our results are applicable. In this paper, we establish some fixed point results for conditional interpolative contractive mappings using R-admissible maps and other relational metrical concepts. Our findings enhance existing interpolative contractions found in the literature. In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a coupled system of Hilfer-Hadamard sequential fractional differential equations with multi-point Riemann-Liouville fractional integral boundary conditions via standard fixed point theorems. The existence of solutions is proved using Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, while the existence and uniqueness of solutions is established using the Banach fixed point theorem. We also discuss the stability of the problem in terms of Ulam-Hyers, Ulam-Hyers-Rassias, generalized Ulam-Hyers, and generalized Ulam-Hyers-Rassias stability. As an application, some examples are presented to illustrate our theoretical results.

Abstract Recent research indicates the need for improved models of physical phenomena with multiple shocks. One of the newest methods is to use differential inclusions instead of differential equations. In this work, we intend to investigate the existence of solutions for an m-dimensional system of quantum differential inclusions. To ensure the existence of the solution of inclusions, researchers typically rely on the Arzela–Ascoli and Nadler’s fixed point theorems. However, we have taken a different approach and utilized the endpoint technique of the fixed point theory to guarantee the solution’s existence. This sets us apart from other researchers who have used different methods. For a better understanding of the issue and validation of the results, we presented numerical algorithms, tables, and some figures. The paper ends with an example.

We analyze the SCARDO model in the case of the 3-element opinion space under specific constraints on the transition table parameters that allows to link the problem at stake to the case of the 2-element opinion space that has been thoroughly studied previously. We characterize the properties of fixed points and support our findings by numerical experiments. Further, we manage to find out those settings that ensure the system almost surely reaches a specific domain in the phase space, after which its behavior can be predicted analytically. The convexity of space is essential in nonlinear analysis, variational inequalities and optimization theory because it guarantees the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a certain extent. Because of its wide variety of applications, mathematicians have extensively promoted and researched convexity. This paper reviews some representative convexity structures and discusses their relations from their definitions, unifying them in the abstract convex structure. Moreover, applications of main convexity structures including KKM theory and fixed point theory will be reviewed.

In this paper, we consider a direct problem and an inverse problem involving a nonlinear fractional diffusion equation, which can be applied to many physical situations. The equation contains a Caputo fractional derivative, a symmetric uniformly elliptic operator and a source term consisting of the sum of two terms, one of which is linear and the other is nonlinear. The well-posedness of the direct problem is examined and the results are used to investigate the stability of an inverse problem of determining a function in the linear part of the source. The main tools in our study are the generalized eigenfunction expansions theory for nonlinear fractional diffusion equations, contraction mapping, Young’s convolution and generalized Grönwall’s inequalities. We present a stability estimate for the solution of the inverse source problem by means of observation data at a given point in the domain.
