This work reports the step-wise fabrication of a core–shell plasmonic nanocomposite Pd@BTL–Cd consisting of a BTL–Cd shell and a palladium nanoparticle core. BTL–Cd is the [Cd(BTL)·CdCl2] complex where the heptadentate framework of the bis-compartmental ligand encapsulated two Cd(II) centres in separate pockets. Pd@BTL–Cd has been found to be highly efficient for the photocatalytic conversion of furfural (a biomass-derived aldehyde) to furfuryl amine via reductive amination in aqueous ammonia at room temperature. The improved photocatalytic performance of the nanocomposite and its functioning in visible regions in contrast to parental species are attributed to the synergistic functioning of the core and the shell. The inclusion of the Cd–BTL nanoshell lowers the overall band gap of the material while the Pd nanocore generates in situ hydrogen species during photocatalysis. The optimization of catalytic conditions revealed that 10 mg of the fabricated photocatalyst can offer 99% conversion and a high turnover number in 4 h. The efficacy of the catalyst can be retained for up to 5 cycles with high selectivity for the formation of furfuryl amine (98%) in the presence of visible light (λ = 445 nm). The co-precipitation technique is employed for preparing ZnO/CoFe2O4 composites. X-ray diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Rietveld refinement techniques is performed to investigate the composite structure obtained after annealing. The Rietveld refinement method gives information about crystalline phases present in the sample. Rietveld analysis of X-ray diffraction results reveals the presence of two phases where phase 1 is zinc oxide with hexagonal structure, whereas phase 2 is cobalt ferrite with cubic structure. XRD shows the size of crystallites for phase 1 is 43 nm, and for phase 2 is 38 nm. FTIR peaks centered at 440–515 cm−1 corresponds to M–O stretching vibrations. Dielectric properties such as ε′, ε″, Tanδ, conductivity, and electric modulus of the sample have been measured at temperature 30–300 °C and the frequency range is 1–107 Hz. Dielectric parameters show dependence on frequency and temperature as well as on concentration and temperature used for synthesis of samples. Synthesized sample at temperature 400 °C and concentration 1:1 shows highest value of ε′ i.e., above 1000. To study magnetic properties VSM characterization is used. High value of ε′, Tan δ and remarkable low value of conductivity (high resistivity), retentivity (0.01–2.17 emu/g) and coercivity (34.8–213 Oe) indicate its application in high frequency devices. Conclusion: This meta-analysis demonstrates a significant association between IDA and chronic headache disorders, with a pooled prevalence of 38% for chronic headaches in IDA patients and 20% for IDA in chronic headache patients. IDA was associated with a 76% higher risk of chronic headaches. Routine screening for IDA in high-risk populations may improve headache outcomes, but further longitudinal studies are needed to establish causality and refine management strategies.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a debilitating condition that significantly affects the elderly. Early diagnosis is not only critical for improving patient outcomes but also directly influences the success of emerging therapeutic interventions. A therapeutic strategy targeting only one pathogenic mechanism is unlikely to be very effective, as there is increasing evidence that AD does not have a single pathogenic cause. Therefore, combining medications or developing therapies that address multiple pathways may be beneficial. Most clinical trials can be classified under added therapy rather than combination therapy. Effective treatment of AD likely requires targeting multiple mechanisms, such as amyloid-beta (Aβ) and tau pathology. However, many medications face challenges, including poor solubility, low permeability, and the inability to cross the blood- -brain barrier (BBB). This is where nanocarriers come into play, as they can be loaded with these medications to facilitate targeted drug delivery. This approach enhances the pharmacokinetic profile of drugs in both the blood and the brain.
