Increasing storage root number is a pivotal approach to enhance both storage root (SR) yield and appearance quality of sweet potato. Here, 2-year field experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of 0 (K0), 120 (K1), 240 (K2), and 360 (K3) kg ha−1 potassium fertilizer (K2O) on lignin metabolism, root growth, storage root yield, and uniformity. The results demonstrated that potassium (K) application led to a decrease in the activities of key enzymes involved in lignin biosynthesis, including phenylalanine deaminase (PAL), 4-coumarate coenzyme A ligase (4-CL), cinnamic acid dehydrogenase (CAD), polyphenol oxidase (PPO), and peroxidase (POD). This resulted in a significant reduction in lignin and G-type lignin contents in potential SRs compared to K0 treatment within 10–30 days after planting (DAP). BJ553 exhibited a significant decrease in PAL activity, as well as lignin and G-type contents at 10 DAP, whereas YS25 showed delayed effects until 20 DAP. However, the number and distribution of secondary xylem conduits as well as the mid-column diameter area in roots were increased in K2 treatment. Interestingly, K2 treatment exhibited significantly larger potential SR diameter than other treatments at 15, 20, and 25 DAP. At harvest, K2 treatment increased the SR number, the single SR weight, and overall yield greatly compared with K0 treatment, with an average increase of 19.12%, 16.54%, and 16.92% respectively. The increase of SR number in BJ553 was higher than that of YS25. Furthermore, K2 treatment exhibited the lowest coefficient of variation for both SR length and diameter, indicating a higher yield of middle-sized SRs. In general, appropriate potassium application could effectively suppress lignin biosynthesis, leading to a reduction in the degree of pericycle lignification in potential SRs. This promotes an increase in the number of storage roots and ultimately enhances both yield and appearance quality of sweet potato. The effect of potassium fertilizer on lignin metabolism in BJ553 roots was earlier and resulted in a greater increase in the SR number compared to YS25.

This paper firstly builds a diversified content system of ideological and political courses based on knowledge graph, extracts course knowledge, proposes a LEBERT-CRF entity recognition method that dynamically fuses words and word-level word vectors for the problems that arise in ideological and political courses, and uses dictionary adapters to integrate the features of ideological and political dictionaries into the BERT model, and then combines the resources of ideological and political courses to expand the data sources of knowledge graphs. Finally, taking the teaching and classroom of ideological and political courses in a university as an empirical study, the results show that the test results of the teaching objects on the feedback of ideological and political course content have very significant differences. The teaching observers give 8 “good” evaluations, 6 “average,” 5 “excellent” evaluations, and 2 “need for improvement” evaluations, indicating that the ideological and political elements are well integrated with the course content. The mean values of value orientation, ideological and political integration, ideological and political resources, discussion and interaction, reflection and evaluation, activity organization, technical support, resource push, and dual-line teaching were 3.776, 4.098, 3.874, 4.191, 4.075, 3.885, 4.265, 3.945, and 4.245, respectively. Students recognize the content system of ideological and political courses constructed in this paper. Therefore, the content system of ideological and political courses built in this paper can effectively solve the current situation of redundant and difficult-to-grasp ideological and political knowledge systematically.

Evaluating innovation and entrepreneurship ability measurement of college students is one of the critical areas of research on innovation ability cultivation in colleges and universities. In this study, based on the existing Bayesian knowledge tracking model, the parameter matrix of innovation and entrepreneurship knowledge point relationship is added to improve the standard knowledge tracking model. The CS-BKT model is proposed to provide college teachers with detailed mastery of students’ innovation and entrepreneurship knowledge. Then the corresponding state space is delineated according to the mastery situation, and the evaluation model of innovation and entrepreneurship ability measurement for college students based on polymorphic rewarded Markov chain is constructed. Combined with different transfer probabilities, the model operates on student data to measure students’ innovation and entrepreneurship ability. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the acceptance and non-acceptance of innovation and entrepreneurship education in students’ innovation and entrepreneurship competence, and the level of innovation and entrepreneurship competence of students who had accepted it was 3.71, which was higher than that of students who had not taken it (3.53). There is a significant positive correlation between the social level of the place of origin, the individual level of entrepreneurial experience, and the rank of professional achievement and innovation and entrepreneurship ability, with p-values of 0.008, 0.003, and 0.001 respectively are less than 0.01. This study concludes the factors influencing the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of college students, which provides a reference value to the formation and development of the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of the students.

This study focuses on the hole transport layer of molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) for inverted bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic photovoltaics (OPVs), which were fabricated using a combination of a spray coating and low-temperature annealing process as an alternative to the thermal evaporation process. To achieve a good coating quality of the sprayed film, the solvent used for solution-processed MoO3 (S-MoO3) should be well prepared. Isopropanol (IPA) is added to the as-prepared S-MoO3 solution to control its concentration. MoO3 solutions at concentrations of 5 mg/mL and 1 mg/mL were used for the spray coating process. The power conversion efficiency (PCE) depends on the concentration of the MoO3 solution and the spray coating process parameters of the MoO3 film, such as flow flux, spray cycles, and film thickness. The results of devices fabricated from solution-processed MoO3 with various spray fluxes show a lower PCE than that based on thermally evaporated MoO3 (T-MoO3) due to a limiting FF, which gradually increases with decreasing spray cycles. The highest PCE of 2.8% can be achieved with a 1 mg/mL concentration of MoO3 solution at the sprayed flux of 0.2 mL/min sprayed for one cycle. Additionally, S-MoO3 demonstrates excellent stability. Even without any encapsulation, OPVs can retain 90% of their initial PCE after 1300 h in a nitrogen-filled glove box and under ambient air conditions. The results represent an evaluation of the feasibility of solution-processed HTL, which could be employed for a large-area mass production method.

Our current perception and decision‐making are shaped by recent experiences, a phenomenon known as serial dependence. While serial dependence is well‐documented in visual perception and has been recently explored in time perception, their functional similarities across non‐temporal and temporal domains remain elusive, particularly in relation to task relevance and working memory load. To address this, we designed a unified experimental paradigm using coherent motion stimuli to test both direction and time reproduction. The direction and time tasks were randomly mixed across trials. Additionally, we introduced pre‐cue versus post‐cue settings in separate experiments to manipulate working memory load during the encoding phase. We found attractive biases in time reproduction but repulsive biases in direction estimation. Notably, the temporal attraction was more pronounced when the preceding task was also time‐related. In contrast, the direction repulsion remained unaffected by the nature of the preceding task. Additionally, both attractive and repulsive biases were enhanced by the post‐cue compared to the pre‐cue. Our findings suggest that opposing sequential effects in non‐temporal and temporal domains may originate from different processing stages linked to sensory adaptation and post‐perceptual processes involving working memory. Even though membrane separation materials have worked very well for purifying dyestuff wastewater, the short residence time and high pollutant flow rates in the membrane, which can lead to incomplete or insufficient photodegradation, make it currently difficult to separate and photodegrade large-scale or highly concentrated dyestuff wastewater in one step. Herein, we propose an 'all-in-one' 3D nanofibrous aerogel architecture (aPAN/MXene@Ag–Ag2S), which can achieve efficient purification of high-concentration dyeing effluents under natural sunlight via two methods: filtration or solar interfacial evaporation. Ag–Ag2S nanoparticles with two different structures are reduced on Ti3C2Tx nanosheets through a UV light-induced in situ reaction, and they function as effective photocatalysts with excellent photothermal ability for solar interfacial evaporation. The special combination of Ag–Ag2S, MXene, and aPAN nanofibers in the aPAN/MXene@Ag–Ag2S aerogels achieved 95% separation and 99.99% photocatalytic degradation efficiencies for oil/water emulsions with methylene blue at a high concentration of 1000 mg L−1, which far exceeds those of recently reported MXene-based catalysts. In particular, wastewater from industrial dyeing could be treated to clean water under natural sunlight. In addition, the evaporation rates of the aPAN/MXene@Ag–Ag2S aerogel for seawater and textile dye wastewater respectively reach 2.69 kg m−2 h−1 and 2.44 kg m−2 h−1 and almost 100% degradation efficiency is achieved. Both the filtered fresh water and the evaporated water produced by solar evaporation meet the requirements of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant or the World Health Organization (WHO) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards for drinking water, respectively. Utilizing photoregenerated cofactors in conjunction with enzymes in a sequential manner presents an effective approach for the synthesis of targeted compounds in gentle reaction conditions. Nevertheless, the integration of enzymes and photocatalysts has faced challenges due to the swift breakdown of biomaterials caused by high‐energy or blue lights and photoinduced reactive oxygen species, leading to the denaturation and deactivation of enzymatic materials. This study details the deliberate development and production of hairy hollow conjugated microporous polymers (S‐hPrTZ‐P HCMPs), achieved via Sonogashira–Hagihara coupling on SiO2 templates, followed by sulfonation, polymer grafting and ultimately eliminating the SiO2 cores. This technique leverages the distinctive characteristics of low‐energy near‐infrared light, such as its superior penetration ability, to effectively regenerate the enzymatic cofactor NAD+ from NADH. It can accomplish this feat even when faced with synthetic or biological barriers that are impermeable to visible light. Simultaneously, photogenerated reactive oxygen species are captured and neutralized by the hydrophilic polymer brushes, safeguarding the integrity of the enzymatic material. The adaptability of S‐hPrTZ‐P with photocatalytic properties is showcased alongside glucose 1‐dehydrogenase and glycerol dehydrogenase. Somatic mutations related to clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) are risk factors for stroke. The impact of DNMT3A, the most mutated gene in CHIP, on clinical functional outcomes of acute ischemic stroke (AIS) remains unclear. In a well‐characterized cohort of 8524 ischemic stroke patients, we demonstrated that DNMT3A‐driven CHIP was significantly associated with neurological disability in these patients. With a stroke mouse model of transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (tMCAO), we demonstrated that DNMT3A protein levels in the brain penumbra increased. The DNMT3A inhibitor RG108 administration amplified neutrophil proliferation in the blood, promoted neutrophil infiltration into the brain penumbra, and exaggerated proinflammatory activation in tMCAO male mice. DNMT3A inhibition also significantly increased infarct volume and worsened neurobehavioral function in tMCAO male mice. In conclusion, DNMT3A somatic mutations are associated with worsened neurological disability in some patients with AIS, potentially through increased neutrophil proliferation and infiltration in the ischemic brain region. These findings suggest a possible mechanism for proinflammatory activation and tissue damage in the affected brain tissue, highlighting the need for further research in this area. The involvement of left-behind children (LBC) in school bullying has raised concern in China. However, the susceptibility of LBC to engage in bullying is controversial, and comprehensive, representative studies covering the entire country are lacking. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the prevalence and severity of school bullying among LBC. The Chinese National Knowledge Network, WanFang, VIP, PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, and EBSCO databases were searched for literature on being left-behind and bullying before April 2022. The effect size was measured by odds ratio (ORs), standard mean difference (SMD), and 95% confidence interval (CI). Random-effects or fixed-effects models were selected for meta-analysis, and subgroup analysis was used to explore the sources of heterogeneity. The meta-analysis included 25 studies of school bullying among LBC and non-LBC (NLBC). The prevalence of bullying perpetration and victimization among LBC were 18.58% (95% CI [3.72%, 33.44%], p <.05) and 40.62% (95% CI [25.47%, 55.78%], p <.05), respectively. Compared with NLBC, the risk of bullying perpetration and victimization among LBC increased 1.97 times (OR = 1.97, 95% CI [1.77, 2.20], p <.05) and 2.17 times (OR = 2.17, 95% CI [1.43, 3.29], p <.05), respectively. The severity of bullying experienced by LBC was higher than that of NLBC (SMD = 0.49, 95% CI [0.20, 0.79], p <.05). The prevalence and severity of school bullying were higher in LBC than in NLBC, and left-behindness was positively associated with school bullying. High-voltage transmission lines are susceptible targets for lightning strikes. It is an interesting topic how the trip event of transmission line is related to the area, location, and intensity of thunderstorms occurring at that time and that place. Based on total lightning observation containing intra-cloud and cloud-to-ground lightning, and transmission line trip information from relaying system of power system, 8 thunderstorms associated with the lightning strike trip of local transmission lines were selected in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) region. Analysis was conducted on the total lightning activity of each thunderstorm process, including the characteristics of total lightning counts and density, followed by the variations in total lightning activity before and after lightning strike trips. Further, our investigation encompassed the spatial and temporal evolution, charge structure, and kinematic parameters of thunderstorms. It was revealed that almost all lightning trips in this area emerged in close proximity to bodies of water, accompanied by a discernible reduction in thunderstorm cloud altitude during line trip occurrences. This paper aims to enhance the understanding of total lightning and thunderstorm activity behavior, thereby providing valuable insights for lightning disaster prevention and mitigation in the meteorological bureau and power system. Big datasets are gathered daily from different remote sensing platforms. Recently, statistical co‐kriging models, with the help of scalable techniques, have been able to combine such datasets by using spatially varying bias corrections. The associated Bayesian inference for these models is usually facilitated via Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods which present (sometimes prohibitively) slow mixing and convergence because they require the simulation of high‐dimensional random effect vectors from their posteriors given large datasets. To enable fast inference in big data spatial problems, we propose the recursive nearest neighbor co‐kriging (RNNC) model. Based on this model, we develop two computationally efficient inferential procedures: (a) the collapsed RNNC which reduces the posterior sampling space by integrating out the latent processes, and (b) the conjugate RNNC, an MCMC free inference which significantly reduces the computational time without sacrificing prediction accuracy. An important highlight of conjugate RNNC is that it enables fast inference in massive multifidelity data sets by avoiding expensive integration algorithms. The efficient computational and good predictive performances of our proposed algorithms are demonstrated on benchmark examples and the analysis of the High‐resolution Infrared Radiation Sounder data gathered from two NOAA polar orbiting satellites in which we managed to reduce the computational time from multiple hours to just a few minutes.
