Cervical cancer (CC) is the most common malignant tumor in women, and its prognosis is poor. The key genes and pathways of CC need to be further discovered. GEO2R was used to identify differentially expressed genes (DEG), GO and KEGG enrichment were analyzed by DAVID. Then, the PPI network is constructed with STRINGS. The HUB gene and module of DEGS were obtained by Cytoscape. Finally, GEPIA also analyzed the differential expression and survival of key genes. 234 DEG were extracted from GSE9750. The uterus is the fourth organ highlighted in the concentrated analysis. The functional changes of DEGS are mainly related to cell cycle progression, cell cycle, helicase activity, DNA helicase activity, exosome and p53 signal pathway. In addition, five HUB genes and one key module were identified. Survival analysis showed that MCM2 and GINS2 were significantly correlated with overall survival. Expression analysis showed that MCM2 and GINS2 were highly expressed in cancer tissues, but low in normal tissues, which was consistent with the results of GEO analysis. Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between MCM2 and GINS2. This study suggests that MCM2 and GINS2 may be new biomarkers to predict the prognosis of CC. Financial fraud is a serious challenge in a rapidly evolving digital economy that places increasing demands on detection systems. However, traditional methods are often limited by the dimensional information of the corporations themselves and are insufficient to deal with the complexity and dynamics of modern financial fraud. This study introduces a novel intelligent financial fraud detection support system, leveraging a three-level relationship penetration (3-LRP) method to decode complex fraudulent networks and enhance prediction accuracy, by integrating the fuzzy rough density-based feature selection (FRDFS) methodology, which optimizes feature screening in noisy financial environments, together with the fuzzy deterministic soft voting (FDSV) method that combines transformer-based deep tabular networks with conventional machine learning classifiers. The integration of FRDFS optimizes feature selection, significantly improving the system's reliability and performance. An empirical analysis, using a real financial dataset from Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), demonstrates the effectiveness of our proposed method. This research enriches the financial fraud detection literature and provides practical insights for risk management professionals, introducing a comprehensive framework for early warning and proactive risk management in digital finance. Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a complex inflammatory disease of colorectum that induces abnormal immune responses and severely affects the quality of life of the patients. Grape seed proanthocyanidin extract (GSPE) exerts anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant functions in many inflammatory diseases. The objective of this study was to investigate the potential therapeutic effects and underlying mechanisms of GSPE in UC using a dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)‐induced mouse UC model and a lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐stimulated RAW264.7 macrophage model. In this study, we found that the GSPE markedly prevented DSS‐induced weight loss and colon length shortening in UC mice. Further investigations showed that GSPE significantly attenuated the expression of pro‐inflammatory cytokines TNF‐α, IL‐6, and IL‐1β, and elevated the expression of anti‐inflammatory cytokine IL‐10 in the colon tissues and serum of DSS‐induced colitis mice by suppressing NF‐κB signaling pathway. Furthermore, LPS‐induced inflammation in RAW264.7 cells was also reversed by GSPE. Taken together, our results confirm that GSPE can ameliorate inflammatory response in experimental colitis via inhibiting NF‐κB signaling pathway. The paper considers adaptive event‐triggered control for nonlinear systems with time‐varying parameter uncertainties. The time‐varying uncertainties do not need to be differentiable, but their variation amplitudes are required to be known. Such uncertainties appear not only in the system nonlinearities but also as the control coefficient. We pursue a tight design scheme by combining tuning functions and the congelation of variables method, thereby avoiding the overuse of dominations and obtaining a less conservative controller. In view of the essence of the control problem, we don't design a continuous controller first and then search for a complex and suitable event‐triggering mechanism, as emulation methods done in the literature. In contrast, we adopt a simple event‐triggering mechanism with the relative threshold, while seeking a complex and appropriate adaptive controller which contains the new adaptive treatment for execution error due to the unknown time‐varying control coefficient. Note that there are three parameter dynamic compensators in the adaptive controller, and one is specialized to the execution error, which is not required in the continuous feedback context. It is shown that with the proposed adaptive event‐triggered controller, all the closed‐loop signals are bounded, the system state converges to zero, and no Zeno behavior occurs. Developing robust and discriminative appearance models has been a long-standing research challenge in visual object tracking. In the prevalent Siamese-based paradigm, the features extracted by the Siamese-like networks are often insufficient to model the tracked targets and distractor objects, thereby hindering them from being robust and discriminative simultaneously. While most Siamese trackers focus on designing robust correlation operations, we propose a novel single-branch tracking framework inspired by the transformer. Unlike the Siamese-like feature extraction, our tracker deeply embeds cross-image feature correlation in multiple layers of the feature network. By extensively matching the features of the two images through multiple layers, it can suppress non-target features, resulting in target-aware feature extraction. The output features can be directly used to predict target locations without additional correlation steps. Thus, we reformulate the two-branch Siamese tracking as a conceptually simple, fully transformer-based Single-Branch Tracking pipeline, dubbed SBT. After conducting an in-depth analysis of the SBT baseline, we summarize many effective design principles and propose an improved tracker dubbed SuperSBT. SuperSBT adopts a hierarchical architecture with a local modeling layer to enhance shallow-level features. A unified relation modeling is proposed to remove complex handcrafted layer pattern designs. SuperSBT is further improved by masked image modeling pre-training, integrating temporal modeling, and equipping with dedicated prediction heads. Thus, SuperSBT outperforms the SBT baseline by 4.7%,3.0%, and 4.5% AUC scores in LaSOT, TrackingNet, and GOT-10K. Notably, SuperSBT greatly raises the speed of SBT from 37 FPS to 81 FPS. Extensive experiments show that our method achieves superior results on eight VOT benchmarks. Code is available at https://github.com/phiphiphi31/SBT.

Crossovers create genetic diversity and are required for equal chromosome segregation during meiosis. Crossover number and distribution are highly regulated by different mechanisms that are not yet fully understood, including crossover interference. The chromosome axis is crucial for crossover formation. Here, we explore the function of the axis protein ASYNAPSIS3. To this end, we use the allotetraploid species Brassica napus; due to its polyploid nature, this system allows a fine-grained dissection of the dosage of meiotic regulators. The simultaneous mutation of all four ASY3 alleles results in defective synapsis and drastic reduction of crossovers, which is largely rescued by the presence of only one functional ASY3 allele. Crucially, while the number of class I crossovers in mutants with two functional ASY3 alleles is comparable to that in wild type, this number is significantly increased in mutants with only one functional ASY3 allele, indicating that reducing ASY3 dosage increases crossover formation. Moreover, the class I crossovers on each bivalent in mutants with one functional ASY3 allele follow a random distribution, indicating compromised crossover interference. These results reveal the distinct dosage-dependent effects of ASY3 on crossover formation, and provide insights into the role of the chromosome axis in patterning recombination., (© The Author(s) 2024. Background: The repair of osteoporotic bone defects remains challenging due to excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS), persistent inflammation, and an imbalance between osteogenesis and osteoclastogenesis. Methods: Here, an injectable H 2 -releasing hydrogel (magnesium@polyethylene glycol-poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid), Mg@PEG-PLGA) was developed to remodel the challenging bone environment and accelerate the repair of osteoporotic bone defects. Results: This Mg@PEG-PLGA gel shows excellent injectability, shape adaptability, and phase-transition ability, can fill irregular bone defect areas via minimally invasive injection, and can transform into a porous scaffold in situ to provide mechanical support. With the appropriate release of H 2 and magnesium ions, the 2Mg@PEG-PLGA gel (loaded with 2 mg of Mg) displayed significant immunomodulatory effects through reducing intracellular ROS, guiding macrophage polarization toward the M2 phenotype, and inhibiting the IκB/NF-κB signaling pathway. Moreover, in vitro experiments showed that the 2Mg@PEG-PLGA gel inhibited osteoclastogenesis while promoting osteogenesis. Most notably, in animal experiments, the 2Mg@PEG-PLGA gel significantly promoted the repair of osteoporotic bone defects in vivo by scavenging ROS and inhibiting inflammation and osteoclastogenesis. Implant-associated Staphylococcus aureus ( S. aureus ) osteomyelitis is a severe challenge in orthopedics. While antibiotic-loaded bone cement is a standardized therapeutic approach for S. aureus osteomyelitis, it falls short in eradicating Staphylococcus abscess communities (SACs) and bacteria within osteocyte-lacuna canalicular network (OLCN) and repairing bone defects. To address limitations, we developed a borosilicate bioactive glass (BSG) combined with ferroferric oxide (Fe 3 O 4 ) magnetic scaffold to enhance antibacterial efficacy and bone repair capabilities. We conducted comprehensive assessments of the osteoinductive, immunomodulatory, antibacterial properties, and thermal response of this scaffold, with or without an alternating magnetic field (AMF). Utilizing a well-established implant-related S. aureus tibial infection rabbit model, we evaluated its antibacterial performance in vivo . RNA transcriptome sequencing demonstrated that BSG + 5%Fe 3 O 4 enhanced the immune response to bacteria and promoted osteogenic differentiation and mineralization of MSCs. Notably, BSG + 5%Fe 3 O 4 upregulated gene expression of NOD-like receptor and TNF pathway in MSCs, alongside increased the expression of osteogenic factors (RUNX2, ALP and OCN) in vitro . Flow cytometry on macrophage exhibited a polarization effect towards M2, accompanied by upregulation of anti-inflammatory genes (TGF-β1 and IL-1Ra) and downregulation of pro-inflammatory genes (IL-6 and IL-1β) among macrophages. In vivo CT imaging revealed the absence of osteolysis and periosteal response in rabbits treated with BSG + 5%Fe 3 O 4 + AMF at 42 days. Histological analysis indicated complete controls of SACs and bacteria within OLCN by day 42, along with new bone formation, signifying effective control of S. aureus osteomyelitis. Background: In our clinical practice, we observed that some osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture patients undergoing vertebral augmentation exhibited pain in the iliac crest region. This pain aligned with the diagnostic criteria for superior cluneal neuralgia (SCN) and affected treatment satisfaction., Objective: This study aims to clinically observe patients undergoing vertebral augmentation in a hospital setting and analyze the etiology and risk factors associated with SCN., Study Design: Retrospective cohort study., Setting: Inpatient population of a single center., Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical data from 630 patients who underwent vertebral augmentation in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023. Fifty-two patients enrolled in the study experienced pain that met the diagnostic criteria for superior cluneal neuralgia during the perioperative period of the vertebral augmentation procedures. Those patients were divided into 2 subgroups according to the conditions involved in the occurrence of SCN: Group A (26 patients) had either no preoperative SCN but developed it postoperatively, or had preoperative SCN that worsened or did not alleviate postoperatively. Group B (26 patients) had preoperative SCN that was relieved postoperatively. Additionally, 52 consecutive patients in March 2022 to March 2023. who did not experience SCN during the perioperative period were selected as the control group (Group C). Variables such as surgical segment, age, height, weight, body mass index, duration of hospitalization, chronic low back pain (CLBP), duration of pain, anesthesia, surgical approach, fracture pattern, preoperative visual analog scale (pre-op VAS) score, intraoperative VAS score, one-day VAS score, one-month VAS score, lumbar sacral angle, and sacral tilt angle were statistically described and analyzed., Results: In our hospital, the incidence of SCN during the perioperative period of vertebral augmentation procedures is 8.25% (52/630). Among all the segments of patients who developed SCN during the perioperative period, the L1 segment had the highest proportion, which was 29.03% and 35.14% in Groups A and B, respectively. Group B and Group C showed significant differences in duration of hospitalization (P = 0.012), pre-op VAS scores (P = 0.026), and CLBP (P < 0.001). Group A had significantly higher VAS scores preoperatively (P = 0.026) and intraoperatively (P = 0.004) and in CLBP (P = 0.001) than did Group C., Limitations: This is a retrospective study. Single-center noncontrolled studies may introduce selection bias. The small sample size in each group might have also led to bias., Conclusion: Perioperative SCN associated with vertebral augmentation is significantly correlated with preoperative VAS scores and CLBP. In addition, intraoperative VAS scores might be a factor contributing to the nonalleviation or exacerbation of postoperative SCN.

Importance: Standard postpartum pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) can effectively reduce the incidence of pelvic floor dysfunction diseases., Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the adherence of PFMT with smartphone application reminders on women in the postpartum period., Study Design: We conducted a randomized controlled trial. This single-center randomized (1:1) controlled study included primiparous women admitted to Tongji Hospital between March 2022 and June 2022 (ChiCTR2200059157). Every puerpera was given pelvic floor muscle (PFM) assessment and PFMT guidance at 6 weeks after delivery. After randomization, women in the intervention group received daily training reminders from the smartphone application WeChat. Adherence to PFMT, a symptom of stress urinary incontinence, and PFM characteristics were measured 3 months later., Results: A total of 148 participants were included in the final analysis (76 in the intervention group and 72 in the control group). The adherence rate of daily PFMT was higher in the intervention group than in the control group (53.9% vs 20.8%, P = 0.00) at 3-month follow-up. In addition, participants in the intervention group showed higher peak surface electromyography of PFMs (39.8 ± 6.2 vs 37.5 ± 5.9 μV, P = 0.03) and longer PFM endurance (8.1 ± 2.0 vs 7.3 ± 2.0 seconds, P = 0.01) than in the control group, whereas there was no difference between the 2 groups in International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form ( P = 0.60) and the Patient Global Impression of Improvement scores ( P = 1.00)., Conclusions: Smartphone application-based PFMT could increase adherence and improves electromyography of PFMs in the short term but did not affect stress urinary incontinence symptoms in women in the postpartum period., Competing Interests: The authors have declared they have no conflicts of interest., (Copyright © 2023 American Urogynecologic Society.
